It can sit separate from the television to connect and disconnect any lines. The one connect box is smart. It will recognize lines connected to the box. Picture quality is beautiful.

I can sit on my couch, next to the TV, and stream a movie on my laptop but the TV often has trouble uploading content...with frequent skips or buffering. I replaced my wireless router to the fastest available router on the market and still the same troubles...though slightly better. Moreover, the TV came with a defective panel and a faint white line on the right. Just had the geek squad guys here and said the TV was defective. Good news is that they're supposed to replace it. Bad news is that I've had constant issues with this TV for the 3 weeks I've had it. Maybe the replacement will be better?
