Alright tv
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had the tv for about a year and during that time the tv would randomly turn on. Come home after work and the tv would be on. Went on a trip to Florida when I came back the tv was broke. Called up Samsung and a week later I got credited to pick up a new tv. I upgraded to the Q8F which was on sale. I would recommend the Q8F over the Q7F.

Great tv bad remote
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tv but the only 2 issues i have is 1. when you turn it on it takes a minute for it to catch up before the menus will not freeze. 2. The remote needs to be at the right angle or it will not work.

Broke down in less than 3 years. Worthless
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent over $3700 on this TV to break down in 3 years. And now Samsung is asking me to agree to pay a minimum of $450 just to come and look at the TV. what a joke ?!!! I have had a Panasonic plasma TV that cost me $900 running like a Rolex for 10 years and this Samsung TV that is 4x the price can't even run for 3. I would not recommend buying this TV or any Samsung products for that matter.

Did not dissapoint
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only had this TV for 6 days; but so far, I have been very impressed. This was a huge purchase for me; so I was worried about the dreaded, in store amazement, to at home disappointment. That has not happened. The TV looks as good at my house as it did in the store. And from my past experiences, that doesn't happen often. This set will most likely grab your attention over other TV's in store with its super bright colors, and amazing clarity in demo mode. Then you see the price and probably cringe a bit, or at least I did. In fact, I was on my way to buying an 8000 series Samsung when I asked my sales guy out of curiosity if there was much difference in the Q7 and 8000 when watching regular satellite, and not 4k content. He turned on a football game and luckily the 2 sets were right beside each other. The Q7 had, IMHO, a picture that was about twice as good as the 8000. Much brighter, and more clear. For one, the screen finish on the Q is more of a Gloss compared to a matte finish on the 8K. And the brightness and pop of color is pretty much unmatched on the Q. Even my wife could tell a big difference between the two, and for the most part, she could care less about some of that stuff. I will say that I didn't compare it to an LG OLED very much, as the LG was definitely out of my price range. I did compare it pretty closely to a Sony OLED (Forget which model, but similarly priced to Q). The Sony may have had darker blacks (which by the way lose some details in certain scenes because it is so dark), but i didn't think it compared to brightness and color of the Q. Clarity was pretty close on both. Back to just the Q7. I wouldn't call it a negative to the TV so much as us getting used to it coming from an 11 yr old plasma, but the "Soap opera" effect is very prevalent in movies, or regular shows. Sports seems normal to me. I guess it makes the shows or movies more lifelike, but I kinda want to feel like im watching a show honestly. Just something to get used to. I would say that the 4k upscaling is very good; as i can watch the same thing on my parent's 1080p Samsung from the satellite (1080 content), and my TV blows it away. Another positive I would add is the speakers. I have read where these newer "Slim design" sets don't have very good speakers in them because they won't fit. That may be; but I can tell you that it sounds at least twice as good as my Plasma, and even has a little bit of bass. Looks, this is sleek. Or at least to me, coming from the plasma with 2" of edge. There is an 1/8" of physical brushed stainless look edge, and 3/8" perceived edge when TV is on (Thin part of outter edge of screen that stays black). It looks great mounted on my wall between 2 windows. The 1 connect box is neat, requiring only 1 really thin wire to run up the wall to the TV. I haven't messed around with the apps a whole lot as I have to use my phone as a hotspot for internet. What little I have, they seem to work well. I'm sure I'm leaving some stuff out, and I may update in the future. But I hope to have years of trouble free viewing greatness from this TV.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung 75" Class Q7F QLED TV, and for sharing your user experience. I am sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the image quality.
Please know that The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer the signal is to 4K, the better it will look coming out. It is also designed with lots of custom settings, allowing users to adjust images to their liking.
