I have been in the market for a new screen for a bit now and have done extensive research looking for the replacement for the outstanding and long-lasting Panasonic VT60, one of the last great plasma panels. A quick primer for those that never had the opportunity to see a plasma it was the "oled" of its day bringing prefect blacks with per pixel control. At the time when it came out there was nothing that even came close to the image quality that it provided but it had some major downsides. The first being that it hated sunlight or any light for that matter. If you were not in a dark room, it struggled to keep up and this only gets worse with age. The second big downside is that it guzzles power like almost 200w in idle and 300w when you get it cooking. This had the knock-on effect of heat, heat that had to go somewhere so the vt60 was equipped with fans to evacuate the worst of the heat. These fans could go from a soft whooshing sound to start with to a whine at higher speeds. You also had to deal with all the burn in problems that plague modern oled sets but without the more advanced prevention software. All of that to say I LOVED this VT60, every time I went to look for a new screen, I would find them wanting. This year though I really felt was the year, with sets like the C2 and the S95B coming on to the market with oled refined and ready for prime time. But hold up a moment you say as you double check the product page for the fifth time while reading this review. Isn't this supposed to be a review about the QN900B? All in good time reader, all in good time. Back to the quest for the prefect screen. I found that while the reviews for the new oled and qoled screens were coming up with nothing but praise I decided to dig a bit deeper and see what other screens were out there. After a bit of stumbling around I found the "flagship" screens tucked away on manufactures pages as if they did not want to broadcast that they had these ultra-expensive models in their line up but here they were and they all had two things in common. 8K resolution and steep price tags. The latter is simple flagships bear the cost of development and first adopter fees while the former is much more complicated. 8K is the new wave and contrary to what media outlets are saying it will become the next standard. A fare number of youtubers have been shooting with 8K cameras for years now and I only see adoption going up from here not down. Yes, you are not going to find mainstream media ready to go but you are there and waiting for them when they do flip the switch. If you are like me and only pick up a screen when the technology is lightyear's ahead, I think this is a safe harbor to drop anchor in for a few years. Another note for the 8K and I will move on from the topic. If you run a pc and have it hooked up one be prepared to start upgrading things because 8K is hungry but the things, you can do are simply stunning. Edit in lightroom at 100% with no crop on a 26mp image yes please. Fire up some older titles in 8K and bask in the crisp textures. Now onto the meat of the review. Picture Flat-out stunning. You feed this screen some quality HDR content, and it comes to life in a way that is hard to describe. In vivid mode the colors are a bit overdone but overcooked. I feel that it depends on the content that dictates the mode you use. For something like Valerian vivid is a good bet but for Rings of Power filmmaker mode is better. You do take a hit in peak brightness when switching modes so keep that in mind. And that brings me to the topic of luminosity as it is supposed to be a selling point for this class of screen, but I was not as impressed. In the right environment (dark room) it can get dazzlingly bright, but you add some room light or a bit of sun from a window and it’s reduced to meh. The reviews made this thing out to be a photon cannon, but I found it to be more of a water pistol. Dimming zones So, this was a big one for me as I am coming from an infinite black panel so how would mini led stack up? In a word, well. It is able to tackle complex scenes and make it look easy. I can find no faults in content that is up to the task. Even oled showcase footage is breathtaking to watch here. Where it falls apart is when used as a desktop as the zones start derping out around the mouse, so you have a box that follows it around of messed up luminosity. Not a deal breaker by any means but kind of a bummer. Kick into HDR on a game and this goes away entirely so it is something with the OS and screen interaction. Build quality This is a very nice panel, and you would expect it to be for the price. I can say that it looks sleek and feels very sturdy. I love the look of the screen with the nearly bezel less design makes the picture drift into the room. I have noticed no dead pixels so far and everything is running well save for two bugs. Bugs I have two nagging bugs and they both have to do with 8K content. The first is that the screen will kick out the 8K option for my pc input and I must dig back into the menu and enable it again to get it to work. The second is that After doing this I have to reboot my pc as it will have a line down the middle of the screen after reconnecting. A reboot fixes this but is a bit frustrating to deal with. OS This is my first tizen OS so it is all a bit new to me. I am not the biggest fan of the layout as I would rather have my primary four inputs be front and center then the apps on another row or something. But the OS is plenty fast and when using one of the four buttons on the remote booting into apps is almost instant. Playback You will be happy to know that this screen sails through 8K youtube content on the native app. Where my old 1080ti gpu would struggle as it has no dedicated decoders (Yes, an upgrade is planed). Blu-ray's played back from my local server are silky smooth and present some of the best picture I have seen to date.

I wish I could give this TV 5 stars because the vividness and quality of the images produced by this screen are spectacular, and even the sound is surprisingly good! Viewing 8k videos is stunning, But there is one thing that is a point of frustration. This is a reflective issue that is produced by background lights. If you have any lights in the same room, the TV reflects this in a very unusual way. It does so with a wavy spectrum, which you can see in the photo here. In a color-filled screen, this is not a problem, but when you have a dark scene, this reflection shows, and it is distracting. To circumvent this problem, you need to turn off lights in the room, and the problem then disappears. In the photo shown, you can see the reflection that is visible even during the day, with the TV turned off.

Beautiful tv, amazing picture and sound and everything you could want from a new 75” screen. EXCEPT that right out of the box it was defective. There were broken pixels causing a dark spot right in the middle of the screen. During scenes with a white background like ice hockey it was quite noticeable and bad (see photos) Samsung service said it was a major repair and the recommended returning the tv to Best Buy for a new one. Wasn’t gonna make that mistake twice so I opted for a Sony XR instead. At first this was a bummer for me as I really enjoy my QN 90A 55” and wanted it to work out. Best Buy service was amazing though, both with install and the return. Made my heartache over the Samsung Tv not so bad at all and i’m super happy with the Sony it’s a better overall choice, Thank you Best Buy.

The tv looks great works great just didn’t live up to what I wanted I had a samsung 8k q800t 65” that I needed to exchange 5 or 6 times to try and get a clean non dead pixel tv and the last one they delivered was not perfect I was just tried of exchanging the tv this samsung qn900b legit had dead pixels and dirt under the screen just like the other Samsung I had before it broke I’d give it 3 stars because it’s a super good tv if you get lucky or just don’t care about small stuff like that but at the price I paid which was four thousand dollars I’m definitely going to be making sure it’s perfect or close to it

I had technical problems with a QN800A. I returned it a doubled down on this beast. I must say it is in a league of its own. The picture is stunning. The audio is fantastic, especially when put into Q-Symphony mode using the TV and a soundbar together. The features of this TV are overwhelm at first but really has great ones at that. I use this TV on my days of work for hours of gameplay with a PS5, Switch, and PC. It is truely amazing. I had this one mounted, it was rather heavy for a basic TV stand.

Our family has had the opportunity to install and utilize our 75-inch Samsung QLED QN900B over the course of several weeks. With such a vast array of technology available today, I was hard pressed to believe that a single product could change my overall television experience. However, the QN900B by Samsung has absolutely done so. This 75-inch QLED television in 8k has provided an absolutely out-of-this-world television experience, as the picture quality in 8k (where available) is impeccable. Colors on this screen are vivid, and blacks, beautifully rich and deep. Images are not only life-like on the big screen, the movement of the images also flow beautifully. Although I do wish 8k technology was a bit more readily available on the popular hubs, I am elated to have a product that is 8k capable. As a family of four with two young children, our television priorities and preferences vary greatly. We have enjoyed each and every experience, thus far, and have had the opportunity to watch sporting events, streaming content, movies and classic cable television with such realistic appearance. Additionally, my husband has spent a moderate amount of time utilizing this television with his PS5 gaming system. Samsung's smart interface is super intuitive and because we are constantly streaming from Netflix, Disney + and YouTube, I love having the ability to access each app with a single button click on the provided remote. Design-wise, the QN900B is ultra slim-line and the picture encompasses the entire screen without interference from unnecessary framing. The Dolby Atmos sound system proves Stellar, as per our past experience, although we did opt to utilize a soundbar with our television for optimal television experience. My husband, after mounting this television, did note some possible improvements in regard to the design of the pegs used to secure the brains of the television (as he struggled to align the unit with all three). Additionally, he stated that the screw inserts for a television wall mount could benefit from being longer to improve security on the wall (expand threading capability). Despite minor improvements that could be made, in our humble opinion, we are over the moon with this television. Our family is now able to watch classic cable content, stream video content from popular apps, and watch sporting events daily on this magnificent television. We are consistently in awe by the sharp image quality, lack of lag and vivid colors. We highly recommend the Samsung QN900B for a completely immersive television experience. This product was provided at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

The Samsung 75-inch QN900B is a stunning 8K QLED television that delivers exceptional picture quality with its Quantum Matrix Technology, which enhances contrast and brightness. The Neo Quantum Processor 8K upscales content brilliantly, making even lower-resolution videos look sharp and detailed. The color accuracy and vibrancy are top-notch, thanks to the Quantum Dot technology, and the deep blacks are impressive, especially with the Mini LED backlighting. Its sleek design, with ultra-thin bezels, adds to the overall aesthetic appeal.

Horrible dirty screen effect kills what would otherwise be an outstanding tv. Hockey is unwatchable due to bad vertical banding. Now I have to go through the hassle of exchanging it. So frustrating! This is NOT an issue inherent to the LED technology because I’ve seen perfect panels out there with no dse at all. This is inexcusable.
