zero buyers remorse here. This is an excellent tv and it is PERFECT for the room we have it in. Our living room has a lot of windows and dealing with glare on the tv was always a problem. Now we can watch tv without seeing the reflection of the windows behind us, and ourselves. A salesperson tried to tell us that a "glare free" is not as clear of a picture as a regular tv but I have to disagree. Without the extra "noise" of all of the reflections in the screen on top of the media that we are trying to watch, I find that the picture is much much easier to see. You may not even really notice it, but I can tell you that you will notice the absence of it if you switch to glare free. I no longer see my reflection staring back at me if there is an especially dark scene on the tv. If you have any natural light in your living room or even lamps at night, I recommend this tv. It is also very sleek and thin. Also such a bonus for anyone who uses a Samsung smartphone or other devices.

I never wanted to go OLED because the room my TV is in has a lot of natural light. The reflections were horrible on my LED tv, but it was bright so it balanced out a bit. OLED isn't nearly as bright, so I was afraid that would be wasted money. With my old Q90 I still had to close the blinds to watch anything dark because of the glare. Even then I was dealing with washed out blacks.
Last year Samsung dropped the S90D with the anti glare screen. I'm not one to spend that kind of money on first gen tech, so I waited and read/watched reviews. I went to BB and watched the floor model a lot. When they announced that the S95F was coming out with an even better anti glare screen and it was brighter, I was sold.
So, I finally upgraded to OLED after years of watching washed out blacks and dealing with horrible glare on a glossy screen.
Once the TV was on the wall I still saw a ton of glare with the film that was on the screen. As I slowly peeled that off I was stunned at how little glare remained. The anti glare diffuses the light so well that it's almost unnoticeable. I can watch dark content with my blinds open during the day now. The blacks are still super black. The picture is amazing.
I know a lot of people talk about how the anti glare diffuses the light too much and washed out the screen, but that has not been my experience at all.
If you're a gamer, this thing has some really cool options that pop up when it detects a console as the source. There's even a red dot option for when you're playing shooter games.
This TV is all it's cracked up to be. I hope my picture does this thing justice. Ignore the squares on the edges. Those were for calibrating the lights on the back of the TV.
Highly recommend it.

The picture looks great and is so bright we have to turn it down a bit so our eyes don't hurt. The reflections on the TV are pretty much gone with the anti-glare coating. We use it in our living room and it pretty much ignores the window once we turn it on.

TV is great! We have a bright room and the window glares were horrible! We looked at this tv, and with the matte finish and anti glare, we decided to try it! 100% recommend as we have zero glare any time of the day and the colors are amazing at all time!

Wonderful TV. Image quality is incredible. Vibrant colors and very high luminosity. To fully appreciate these features you need to watch a 4K or ultra HD show in netflix or other platforms. Still, image quality is very good too in regular cable TV shows.

Love the matte finish. Best for a bright room. Tried a lg c5 and it was very reflective. This has no reflection that I see. A lot easier on eye strain as well. Couldn’t watch the c5 for too long before I started getting a headache. I can play games on this tv all day long.
Thinking about getting the 83in for my bedroom with a bigger wall. Who knows.
Great colors.
Only negative is how flimsy the tv is. Must be really careful not to pick it up on the sides but the bottom when setting it up.

Amazing TV.
We bought the S95F to replace an older LG OLED. We love it. The brightness and anti-glare screen make this TV. It changes the game for OLED TV’s which can wash out a little and have reflections in bright rooms. We often watch movies in the dark (theatre room/living room) but also watch a lot with the lights on. We do not have direct sunlight as it is a finished basement living room but we have bright ceiling lights. You don’t even know the lights on are when watching.
The color and contrast are amazing as is the refresh rate (games look incredible). However, and I cannot stress this enough, the anti-glare coating is what separates this TV from other OLEDs.
If you have a bright space but want OLED contrast and refresh rate then look no further.

Glare Reduction for OLED is the Real Deal
Posted .

We moved to a new house and in doing so broke every home theatre rule we knew by mounting our 55" OLED in a room with six transom windows and two large picture windows framing the fireplace the TV was mounted over and started using a soundbar -- we felt shame. At 55" the OLED had terrible glare while looking undersized for the space. We needed a larger screen and staying with the OLED would only make the glare worse.
Enter the 77" Samsung S95F. In the store the glare reduction looked terrific, even when sales staff said that it would in fact be dimmer than its regular OLED counter part. I decided to take a somewhat educated gamble and made the purchase. While the Geek Squad was mounting the screen my worst fear came into view: my refrigerator reflecting like a beacon from space on my glorious new glare free Samsung. Then, as part of the on-purpose experience, the film protecting the screen was removed and like magic, the glare disappears. My refrigerator, all the lights, all the reflections, almost anything reflective at all is gone. We already have 90% light and UV blocking screens on all the windows and can close the blinds but the screen doesn't need it; my hat is off to the Samsung engineers. In terms of being dimmer than its regular OLED counter part we don't notice it all because the surface area is 17.6 square feet. Yeah, plenty bright. The contrast and dynamic range was incredible when I tested it with King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. F1TV and Premiere League renders are just incredible because of the 165Hz Motion Xcelerator.
I will say that I'm reviewing my second copy. The first screen we used for about 5 hours and turning it on the second day, we met its bad power unit; it powered itself off and on continuously and even power cycling the screen didn't help. After a few well spent minutes with Best Buy tech support they were awesome and did an exchange/replace the next day.
My final thoughts are that the glare reduction on the Samsung is more like a black hole for incoming light and yes, it's slightly dimmer, and no, you couldn't pay me to say I noticed it. It's really an incredible piece of engineering. We don't use it as anything other than a giant monitor so I can't speak to the OS. If you love OLED screens but don't like the glare, this unit is well worth the investment.

Amazing TV – Worth Every Penny!
I recently purchased the Samsung 77” OLED, and I could not be more satisfied. The picture quality is absolutely stunning—deep blacks, vibrant colors, and crystal-clear detail that makes movies, sports, and gaming feel truly immersive. The size is perfect for creating that theater-like experience at home, and the sleek, modern design looks beautiful in my living room. The matte black anti-glare screen is the biggest game changer vs other options we looked at.
Setup was quick and easy, and the smart features are very user-friendly. The interface is smooth, and navigating between streaming apps, cable, and my gaming console is seamless. The sound quality is solid on its own, but paired with my sound system it feels like a full cinematic experience.
Overall, this TV exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re on the fence about upgrading, do it—you won’t regret it!

I found an "Open Box" model at a local BB outlet store. They helped me thoroughly check it out before deciding to definitely buy it, and I got a fantastic value. It was described as being in good condition, but it was actually basically new!
After owning the S95F for about a month now and customizing a couple of picture modes to my personal liking I am blown away by the picture quality... overall the picture quality is absolutely amazing! The TV has fantastic contrast, tremendous sharpness, and knock out colors, especially with 4K sources. I have watched several of my favorite 4K/UHD discs/movies through my Oppo player that I thought would really show what this TV is made of and OMG... Top Gun Maverick, Star Trek Into Darkness, Avatar Way of Water, Ready Player One, Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning, Blade Runner 2049, Dune 2, Across the Spiderverse, Monsters Inc, and Coco... I never imagined even these brilliantly filmed movies could ever look sooooo good!
Of course other sources are at least a slight step down in quality, but the apps I have checked out so far: Netflix, Prime, Disney+, and YouTube look great, and even regular cable looks very good! I don't game through the TV, but I've heard it looks fantastic.
I run all the audio through my receiver and speaker system, so I can not comment on the TVs built in audio/speaker quality.
The matte/anti-glare screen is highly effective! After owning a 65" LG B7, which I really liked until it built up some nasty burn in after 6 years, I knew I wanted to seriously consider the matte screen models Samsung offers, because I always disliked the mirror like quality of my old B7 and most contemporary OLED screens. Contrary to some things I have read about this Samsung matte screen doing poorly in bright rooms... I completely disagree! We have several big windows and glass sliders to one side of the TV and multiple very bright LED lights opposite the TV. My old B7 completely reflected (almost like a mirror) all those light sources, but the S95F has zero direct reflections and at the most shows extremely slight glare and only in scenes that are almost completely black/very dark!
I highly recommend this TV for so many reasons. It's probably not perfect for everyone, especially traditionalists who can not get past the matte screen or for those who must have Dolby Vision, but for many people I strongly believe this would be a fantastic OLED TV choice!

We absolutely love it! The anti glare is a fantastic and effective feature —well worth the extra cost. Picture quality is out of the box without any necessary adjustments amazing!!! It is designed so well and thar thin profile is wowzaaaa, and easy to use intiutive controls. Setting up is a little intimidating but managable with a helping hand, do not attempt to try solo lifting or mounting to the stand.

I recently upgraded my TV from an 8 year old Samsung Tv to the 77 inch S95F. I was not disappointed by the screen and anti reflective technology. That was my main reason for the upgrade, but the new interface and speed of the processor chip and AI scrren adjustment and image upcoverting ton4k is light uears ahead of my last 4k tv. Many additional features besides to screen improvement.

I recently purchased the Samsung 77” Class S95F Series OLED 4K UHD TV, and I have been absolutely blown away by its performance. The OLED display provides stunning picture quality with vibrant colors and deep blacks, making every movie or TV show an immersive experience. The 4K UHD resolution ensures that every detail is crisp and clear, whether I’m watching high-definition content or streaming via one of the many supported apps.
The SamsungVision AI technology is a standout feature, automatically adjusting the picture quality based on the content you’re viewing, optimizing everything from brightness to color contrast. The Tizen OS is intuitive and fast, offering a seamless experience with all my favorite streaming apps easily accessible.
Setting up the TV was straightforward, and the design is sleek and modern, fitting well into my living room. The sound quality is also surprisingly good for a thin TV, but I’d still recommend a soundbar for a more cinematic experience.
The only downside is the price, but considering the quality and advanced features, it’s well worth the investment. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium TV experience.
