Look, the picture is killer. Seriously, it's an OLED, so blacks are black, colors look awesome, and everything just pops. On an 83-inch screen? Yeah, it's impressive. Movies look great, and that 4K detail is sharp. Good for action and games? Yep. It's got that 120Hz refresh rate, so fast scenes in sports or movies look smooth, not like a blurry mess. Gamers get the good stuff too, HDMI 2.1 ports mean your PS5 or Xbox Series X will run great, and FreeSync helps stop screen tearing. Sound is... fine. Like most TVs these days, the built-in speakers do the job, but they're not going to blow you away. For a screen this big, you'll really want a soundbar to make it feel right. Smart TV stuff is standard Samsung. Tizen OS works well, has all the apps you need (Netflix, etc.). The remote charges with sunlight, which is kinda neat. But here's the catch: 1. It ain't cheap. OLEDs this big cost serious cash. 2. No Dolby Vision. If you're really into HDR formats, Samsung still skips this one. HDR10+ is good, but Dolby Vision is on a lot of competing TVs and streaming content. 3. That sound. Again, plan for a soundbar. If you want a massive, gorgeous OLED picture mainly for movies and gaming, and have the budget, this is a fantastic TV. The image quality is the star here. Just know you'll probably want better sound, and you're paying a premium for that OLED goodness without getting every single HDR feature. Solid TV, just gotta weigh the price and features against competitors.

I recently bought the Samsung 83” OLED 4K TV from Best Buy and couldn't be happier. Setup was quick and intuitive, and the picture quality is absolutely stunning — bright, crisp, and insanely detailed. Whether I'm watching live sports or gaming on my Xbox Series X, the visuals are smooth and immersive. No lag, no screen tearing. The built-in smart features work well, but I mostly use my Roku and everything syncs perfectly. Sound is solid on its own, but I paired it with my soundbar for the full effect. This thing has officially transformed my living room into a home theater. If you're on the fence about a big OLED screen, trust me — this is the one. Well worth the investment.

I’m very pleased with this Tv. I have high sensitivity to brightness and deep eye for blacks discrepancies, and this Tv took care of each by having an amazing image quality, the colors are bright and vibrant but I could adjust it so perfectly that it doesn’t hurt my eyes. Remote has a mini solar panel but you can also charge it with a power cord. This is top of the line quality hands-down! I’m very happy of buying two!!! BB had a great deal on for a floor demo model. No issues cosmetically or with its operation. Really a fantastic picture with HD/HDR. SD shows artifacts but it’s SD. Very impressed with OLED’s ability to show contrast and go completely dark. Games look incredible and Game Mode on the TV works really well. I used and tweaked RTINGs settings. Also installed a Govee backlighting and it’s awesome.

Bought this tv, 83” oled. Picture is beautiful from all angles. Nice an slim above my fireplace. I paired with a q990f. They work perfect together. Great purchases.

My husband splurged and bought this amazing tv!!! He researched and shopped many places but felt like the best deal and best support would be from Best Buy!!! He says over and over again how much he luvs this tv!! Sharp vivid picture!!! And can’t say enough about thee service and delivery and installation Best Buy provided!!!

All around just an incredible product with great picture of great connectivity options as well as phenomenal HDR connection and gaming settings. Upgraded from a 65” curved tv

I have had the TV for almost a year and went from a UHD samsung that I still use in bedroom to this incredible OLED 83 INCH ,BLOWN AWAY WITH QUALITY, GAMING AND MOVIE'S 100 TIMES BETTER!! The oled models are pure black and offer incredible gameplay as well!

Upgraded from samsung qled oled is definitely better looking colors are full and vibrant tv looks great solar remote is amazing

Display looks amazing game mode and colors look amazing movies and shows look amazing brightness is great lacks a little in sunny rooms but just get curtains and you're fine. Best price of all the oleds and in the top to mid-tier category oled. Get the qoled displays only, the woled pannels lack in color and its noticable between the 2. So stay away from the 83 in and 48in

After almost a year of going back and forth over-analyzing different panels, I finally made my purchase… the Samsung 83-inch S-90d 4k tv was by far my best purchase yet.

Excellent TV! OLED is incredibly immersive! Tizen with all the updatea applied works flawlessly.

Have had TV around a month and today (Christmas) noticed a discolored vertical line on the screen. Tried the pizel refresh option and that didn't help. I dont have the original box anymore (who keeps a giant box around?) so need to figure out how to return/exchange it. For what I paid for this TV I really hope it's not a hassle to exchange.
