You don't have to look very far to find out just how good these drives are. They are the cream-of-the-crop, when it comes to SSD. The only thing better is the Pro series, and for the price, I'll buy these every time. Love these blazing fast SSD's!!!

As always, an easy installation with samsung drive cloning software. Many other brands have issues when copying the full drive and they leave out the core boot information and windows won't work. My only complaint; it doesn't come with the USB to SATA powered cord you need. I have one from previous drive installs, but if this is your first SSD conversion, it doesn't come with it.

I recommend this drive to my friends and colleagues. They are reliable and make the OS run smoothly. Every time I upgrade a user, I get great reviews about how much their productivity has gone up. No waiting around for startup, just hit power and go.

Awesome, blazing speed over the spinner drive I replaced. I have two of these already in other computers, so it was a pleasure to get this computer up to 'speed' with the Samsung SSD. Great tech reviews elsewhere originally led me to this unit. Can't go wrong!

SSDs are a must if you want quick speed upgrades to your computer system, desktop or laptop. Samsung has the best ratings across the board with most ratings sources, and the 850 EVO is their latest for consumer use. You can't go wrong with this product.

Great performance for a SSD. I've used the Samsung EVO line exclusively- I have two Samsung 840 EVO SSDs (500 GB each) I've installed in my MacBook Pro then switched over to a custom build as a startup disk and scratch drive, and now this one is in my MacBook Pro. No issues to speak of, and ultra-easy setup, installation and maintenance. I'm only taking away a star because of the price- best to buy this when you have a deal or when it's on sale.

Along with my M.2 main drive, I added the Samsung 850 EVO 250GB Internal Serial ATA as my 2nd drive for dual boot to another OS. The drive is fast and very reasonable in price. I'd highly recommend for anyone to use SSD for your OS drive. Thanks!

Bought this to replace a worn out hard drive. Easy to install, but I do recommend purchasing the brackets if you are replacing an older 3 1/2 inch drive.

I researched quite a bit on Solid State hard drives to determine the best one for longevity. The Samsung 850 EVO was the best one for the money. I have been very pleased with it for the past three months. computer is running and booting up much faster.

All the experts say this is one of the best SSD drives available. Its sets a high standard in performance AND value. It's very much worth paying a little more for the 850 EVO. Been using it for a few weeks now and it has delivered as promised.

I always put an SSD into every computer I get my hands on and these samsung drives are always my first choice. What really makes them great is Rapid mode which you can enable via their software. Give it a try if you go with one of these.

The Samsung 850 EVO has clearly earned its place on just about everyones top SSD list. Easy to use, simply to migrate to, incredibly reliable, and reasonably priced for the performance. This is a must have upgrade for any gamer or power user.

I have used several different SSD's. Samsung is definatly my preferred brand. I have had 3 PNY SSD's fail on me, only 1 Samsung fail. The SATA drives seem more consent in speeds, although slower speeds, over the MVME drives.

In the SSD market you can't get any better than Samsung. With prices dropping on the speedy drives, many people are buying them to resurrect old systems. This was the intended use for the drive I purchased and I couldn't be happier.

I love these ssd's so much I bought a 1tb one, this ssd is pretty much only good for your operating system and a few programs, if you're installing games I would reccommend getting an ssd with more storage though.

Purchased this for the purpose of upgrading an old laptop. It was on sale and only slightly more costly than ‘economy’ models which don’t perform as well in terms of speed and power consumption. Worth the extra money!
