    This thing is a speed demon, was easy to install, and really is wonderful how small the overall system is with this installed. Just wish it wasn't such a premium over standard SATA SSDs

    Pros: - easy to clone hard drive with samsung's data migration software (need a m.2 to usb enclosure purchased separately, of course.). I was able to clone my 117gb of files in less than an hour with usb 3.0 - it's fast, even with rapid mode off (~400 MB/sec for both read and write, around 500-550MB/sec with rapid mode on) - samsung's magician software is easy to use while managing the ssd Cons: - rapid mode uses 2gb of ram. It doesn't bug me that much since I have 8gb of ram in my laptop, but i'm sure it's a little annoying for some people. But hey, you still get at least 400mb/sec read/write with rapid mode off

    I invested in this ssd in order to speed up the boot time of my lenovo y700 gaming laptop, it just happened to have an open m.2 port the samsung magician software made the migration from hdd to ssd seemless and easy, you just need to go to the website to download it. being not only a elite member and a employee i'm around all the wonderful technology that best buy has to offer and i know what's what and what to buy and i can say that installing this drive was easily one of my best decisions.
