Older Macs with nvidia controllers require a SATA II so be aware that this SSD is SATA III; using this SSD in a Mac requiring SATA II will yield a drive running at SATA I. If you're not in that situation, this SSD is perfect. I use this brand and model is a number of my Macs and PCs. Can't go wrong.

Easily installable, well documented it is really quite simple.
