Have used this drive over a year with no issues. Speeds are still great but overall product is still pricy.

Easy to install. Nice supporting software Fast Drive Only 4 stars because have to see the longevity of the drive. 5 stars if it does not fail

Glad that Best Buy still has stores where you can walk in and buy exactly what you need at a great price. Don't like the order then wait and hope that it does get porch pirated our that some clerk packed the wrong item.

The Samsung 860 Evo has the best migration software wizard. The I/O operations at 98,000 and write at 90,000 is better than the WD blue specs. I have the 840 Evo and the 860 Evo both work flawlessly. My OCZ drive failed after 3 months.

Samsung is generally known for having the best quality products in the product categories the compete in, and this drive is no exception. And fortunately the price has lately dropped on SSDs in general, making this drive affordable.

Worked great. Had a third party clone the hard drive to this SSD and install it in my desktop. They also upped the ram from 4 to 12 GB. Turned the computer from a model T to a Corvette.

This was purchased as memory extension for a PS4. It works great. I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to expand their memory on game consuls or on their computer.

Samsung is an awesome SSD. It is fast and reliable. I have never had one go bad yet. I own 10 of these solid state drive and they all are still working. A great product for your Personal Computer.

I returned the SSD because it was defective. After trying several new clean installs the SSD would corrupt the master boot record every single time. Using chkdsk commands didn't work and it's unfortunate because I did like the speed that I got from this product. At this time I'm not sure if I'll buy this product again because I think it's better to hold out for the pro version instead of the EVO.

This is definitely an upgrade for any computer. Once switched to a ssd after having a regular hard drive I can never go back. The speed and performance is just unmatched in all ways possible. If you can I highly recommend this product.

Speedy drive, at least, compared to a mechanical Hard Drive, it really brings life back into old PC's. Boot time from "off" to desktop on mechanical Hard drive was like 4-5 minutes for a newer HDD and like 7-12 minutes for old used HDD. While with THIS it's around a minute and half. If you have an old computer with a mechanical Hard Drive, I would recommend one of these, if you have a new computer get an NVMe M.2 SSD instead, it's WAY faster.

Make sure to download the entire OS for PlayStation when replacing the hard drive. Not just the most recent update file. (Scroll down to the second link). Hope this saves someone from hours of frustration.

I decided to try this SSD to replace my C: drive. It has really helped the responsiveness and boot up times. The drive copy software that you download from Samsung works just fine. No problems booting up on the very first try.

This is one of the best ssds on the market. You can't go wrong buying a this SSD, although a little pricey, you get what you pay for.

This is a great upgrade item for an older laptop or pc. The drive replaced a 3.5 in a desktop and the speed increase was well worth it.

I purchased this Evo to replace the 1 Tb hard drive that came with my HP windows 10 very easy replacement. Having the Evo 500 gb is a world of difference so glad I made the switch it's much, much faster load time and response now.
