It's not quite as fast as what it replaced but is supposed to be more dependable and reliable. It is an SSD which I have not used before. I've been able to put most of my files back on it after the last one crashed. I am cautiously optimistic.

It should come with mounting screws though. I had to borrow screws from another part of the machine I installed it in and "lucky for me!" they fit.

I find myself getting frustrated when my printer does not respond to what was once a normal command to print. Other issues but not limited to, I find myself having to revise passwords to enter, some instances having to ID and password. I have no idea how to connect with the original hard drive that I was told I needed to purchase another part so that I would be able to go from one hard drive to the other. I have called the tech only to be put on hold then transferred to a voice mail. I am a business man and do not have the time to continue running back and forth from store to home and several times I have left my tower at store for upgrade and repair and was assured all is in good working order only to find that I am missing very important files and letters. The rest of your questions below are not quite adequate to answer in one word or ???
