    My hard drive in my 9-year-old iMac died and was not synched with my laptop or iphone and contained information that I HAD to have before attending a board meeting. The new drive is in and probably will last a longer time than this iMac will.

    I used it to replaced an aging HD in my 2011 MacBook Pro. Works great and sped up boot times. Just have to enable TRIM support.
