I had a Samsung 860 EVO 2TB drive and I was able to clone this drive to the new Samsung 870 EVO 4TB model. I used Samsung Data Migration Software to perform the clone process which took about 2 hours. After completion I simply turned the PC off and placed the new drive in the location of the old drive. When I turned by PC back on I now had a new 4tb C drive with double the size of my old one. I am keeping the old 2TB drive in a safe place to keep as a backup in case something happens to my new hard drive. I can now sleep better at nights knowing I have a complete backup clone of my hard drive.

Fantastic upgrade for PS4

This was the perfect solution and Best Buy had the best price.

It is amazing to me that SSD of this size are relatively affordable now. It is really fast and I no longer need to listen to the tick-tick-tick of my old HDD.

Plug it in to SATA 3.0,, find it in "drive management", format to NTFS, and it pops up in File Explorer. Ready to use. Note: this did NOT come with any screws or brackets.
