Parkdale 1Mb block: 1455MB/sec, Write, 17,973 IOPS

Originally had problem with ASUS x99-3.1 board when I had another
512 MB SSD and 4GB hdd installed- it had surge errors.
I disconnected the power to the other 512 Mb SSD and now I do not get any more surge errors. Now I have just the 950 M.2 512 Mb and the 4GB hdd installed.
I would recommend this to a friend

Previously I had a Samsung SSD 840. After reading all the reviews about the 950 at TechSpot and other sites, I decided to buy it. After I installed it, I did not notice any speed difference. After a couple of discussions with Samsung tech support, and with the Magician software (which was not helpful at all; doesn't function with the 950!), I removed the 950 from the motherboard and reinstalled the 840 -- no change in speed. (My motherboard, RAM, and video card are all fast.) In my personal opinion, the 840 or 850 is as good as the 950.
