After installing in my HP Spectre Laptop, performance improved a lot. This is best compared to Optane based memory.

These are by far, the best reviewed SSD memories. I discounted Western Digital primarily due to their rather poor post purchase support. Regardless, my final decision between Crucial and Samsung was for Samsung based upon their superior, free data transition software. I was able to upgrade 3 laptops, each a different brand, with no protocol issues whatsoever.

The price is good, and the performance is excellent. Samsung’s Data Migration software (Disk Magician) is amazing for transferring data from an old drive—it makes the process quick and easy.

I've been using it as an external drive for my macmini m4. By doing this setup, it is way cheaper than paying upgrades from apple.
