Just installed, very quick. CrystalDiskMark shows it almost twice as fast as the disk my Dell came with. Seems to run fairly cool (106 degrees) during normal use.

Set up and installing was super easy. The software it uses is easy to work with and had 0 issues out of the box.

This is one of the fastest SSDs out there as of this this era, but you have to read the fine print on the box and Samsung's website to see what it takes to reach 7,250 MB/s on this NVMe. This is a PCIe 4.0 - 5.0 hybrid SSD, which means you need to have the motherboard AND CPU that support the above lanes. I may have purchased this too soon since I only have a PCIe 3.0 board - but no biggie I get 3,200 - 3,600 Mb/s, which is in line with PCIe 3.0 and more than fast enough for whatever the everyday person needs. Also, I use this interchangeably with PC and Mac, so I use an enclosure. It's also handicapped by doing this - especially when going all the way with a 20 Gb/s - 40 Gb/s with USB 3.1/3.2/TB4/TB5 enclosure. You'll get speeds of just under 1000 Mb/s to just above 3000 Mb/s read/write.

As with every Samsung SSD I have ever used, this one works flawlessly. I am sometimes tempted by a lower price on other brands but I keep coming back to Samsung.

Got this for my new desktop right after Black Friday. Samsung is always one of my go-tos for this form factor. Very happy with the performance and speed!

I was looking for an internal SSD to replace my 5+ year-old SSD SATA drive that had Windows and a few other programs installed on it. This SSD was an excellent choice! I used Samsung Magician to easily and effortlessly transfer everything over to the new drive and now Windows loads up significantly faster. My pc is performing better than ever!

One of the 1st PCIe 5th Gen SSD released to date. Sammy is my go to Storage for consumer devices. Never failed me over the years and offer a good warranty. Speeds are what to be expected from an NVME SSD.

I’ve been buying Samsung storage for a long time, and these drives are great. The price is good, and the performance is excellent. Samsung’s Data Migration software (Disk Magician) is amazing for transferring data from an old drive—it makes the process quick and easy.

FAST NVMe SSD!! Easy to physically install. Replaced original slow hard drive - Dell Inspiron 5570 laptop. Would not boot into Windows 11 after cloning and removing original hard drive. Solution, booted into Safe Mode which installed/loaded the NVMe driver (Device Manager, Storage Controllers). Restarted laptop - booted into Windows normally. *UEFI/BIOS modifications were futile.

The SSD was easy to replace in my Yoga Laptop. So far I have had no issues with it and the speed is great.

Bought this to upgrade my HP Laptop Pavillion HDD. And the difference of speed to boot-up and open programs/apps are night and day. So far no issues after install and works great. cloning my old HDD to this amazing SSD went smoothly. I will be purchasing more of these SSD to upgrade my 2 other gaming PCs

I bought this for $69 and my Supercomputer runs so much faster, the refresh rate and how fast everything loads its amazing. The Price is for this item its even Better 1tb for 69 cant beat it.

Although I trust Samsung SSDs more than any other brand, I'm disappointed that Samsung Magician does not fully support the 990 EVE Plus with all the Magician features (as of March 2025). Among the Magician features missing for the 990 EVO Plus are "Disk Partitioning" and "Performance Optimization". The 990 EVO Plus isn't even listed in the supported models -- and I have the latest version of the software. This, and the recent failure of my last Samsung SSD (990 Pro 2TB, failed a month after warranty coverage) make me a little more likely to research other options for SSD. I suspect that the Samsung EVO devices, because of their design and lack of onboard RAM, can't support those features. Still, it's disappointing. You gotta partition these large SSDs to keep things organized. I used another partition manager for this. On the plus side, I installed my 990 EVO Plus 1TB in my laptop, and it is ideally suited for this -- low profile, heatsink not needed because it has never exceeded 40*C.

The Samsung - 990 EVO PLUS SSD 1TB, M.2 . Is good since I used for regular computing, documents and more.

My son says that it has great transfer speeds. It goes so well with all of his other upgrades that he has done recently.

Pretty good, I installed this one in my laptop and fits perfectly for work.
