To be honest, this is the first SSD I've used in a laptop, I put an Alienware 51m2 in it and it works perfectly. I was able to migrate Windows to this hard drive very quickly. After 1 year of use, I can say that it has been tested daily and is in 99% condition and 100% performance. However, if you want it for gaming and video editing, you definitely need to cool it down because the temperature will rise above 50 C.

I used this new SSD in my Galaxy Book 4 360 to increase the storage capacity. I got more than just a storage space increase, I also saw the boot speed and the performance improvements over the stock SSD was a great improvement as well. I am very happy with this purchase and I would buy one again for my next SSD needs.

I initially bought Crucial - P510 1TB Internal SSD PCIe Gen 5 as expansion for my son's college laptop because it was less expensive and more recent tech (Gen5) than other brands with similar capacity. After buying, I was researching fit and found that while the laptop is compatible with GEN5, it will not make use of the enhanced features and will actually generate extra heat vs. a Gen4 alternative. This may not apply to you, but after researching I bought this Samsung - 990 PRO 1TB Internal SSD PCle Gen 4x4 NVMe for $30 more. It was easy install (found I didn't even need heat shield) and works quick/great.
