Still learning all the settings but happy with purchase

We purchased 4 Samsung appliances upon moving into our new home (dishwasher, washer, dryer, and refrigerator). Immediately after delivery, the refrigerator had to be replaced twice and the dishwasher once due to manufacturer defects. Fortunately, I was able to deal directly with the Best Buy to replace those appliances without incident. Best Buy and their Geek Squad was great. However, the washing machine, while it was prone to error codes from the beginning, I did not act on right away and kept trying to work with. A few months later, the safety recall came out . I had to deal with Samsung to cover the replacement cost of the new one. They refused to cover taxes so I paid taxes twice for one washing machine, in effect paying $840 for this washing machine.The replacement makes an unusual sound and shakes upon spinning. I will have to have it checked out yet again and am so fatigued from dealing with Samsung appliance exchanges. They are not reliable for appliances; Whirlpool and LG have proven to be much more reliable in my experience. I have family members who have also encountered faulty Samsung washers. I hope this review helps save someone else's money and time :/

Love the washer and dryer. Sleek looking and washed and dryer and worked well. I ended up returning however because I kept hitting my head every time on the little soaking tub attached to the top loading door. I am 5'6 and I had to stand on my tip toes to reach into the deep drum of the washer (like the size, but too big to reach the bottom). When I would pull back clothes back out I hit my head every time. I love top loaders, but I switched to a front loader Samsung. Great product, I was just too short I guess for it.

Great washer until we got a recall notice from bestbuy...... all top load Samsung recalled. Apparently this one has been discontinued. We now have to exchange.... such a hassle.

Got this new washer to replace a broken washer. Working well for most part but having trouble with some stains... will experiment with other detergents and different settings.

Concerned regarding the recall, and the fact that the dryer doesn't seem to dry properly .. not sure they hooked it up or balanced the washer correctly?

Just exchanged it for a front loader as whites don't clean well and I am disappointed in the cleaning ability. The graphite color is great though.

Seems to keep getting error codes daily. Installer left manual taped to the back so was lost for a little bit. Now the constant error codes are not filling completely, or unbalanced load with one blanket in the washer. Only could use some wash options because of constant error codes.

Works fine except now under recall... Not offered a repair but am told I must purchase a new machine and get a reimbursement...

I find this washer to be extremely sensitive to weight distribution to the point I often rearrange or remove clothes mid cycle just to finish loads. If I don't do what I mentioned earlier clothes continually rinse and loads take forever; ending with a lot of excess water at the bottom of the washing carousel. Less than two months I've already had Geek Squad service it to no avail.

Not bad but definitely not great. I've had better but so far no problems. The prewash basin is useful .

It's a great machine but definitely not madeven for shorter people. Everything else is spot on

When washing small loads of delicate items it throws the washer into unbalanced mode and stops, every small load. Not enjoying the high efficiency either. Who has an hour and a half for one load of laundry? Thank goodness for the quick cycle probabaly the only cycle I use.

I hate the sink! I was told I could remove it, but I can't! Already, I shut the lid with the detergent tray opened and the stupid sink smashed down onto the tray and it got washed with everything else! I want the sink removed, or I want the LG washer and dryer like I asked for to start with!

My husband and I have had THREE Samsung washing machines and dryers over the last THREE years. They have been nothing but problems since we purchased the original set in 2016. The first set was recalled, the second set was defective, and the third set has not been functioning correctly. Thank goodness we purchased the Geek Squad package, but I hate that we have had to use them so many times for repairs (they've been out 5-6 times just for the current set over the last 2 months, and both the washer and dryer still don't function correctly). Definitely do not recommend.

I just installed the washer two weeks ago and it is already recalled. I have waited for a nice set in Black Stainless and do not want to purchase a different washer. there is no repair for my model at this time so I am unsure what to do.

Have received a lot of error codes in the first 2 weeks where the washer kept going into rinse mode (which made my water bill more than double). Spent hours on the phone with Samsung to reset codes. Luckily I am still within my return policy and exchanging both the washer and dryer. Hopefully I just got a pair of lemons and the new set will work properly

Worked great until the day before it's warranty expired and then it died. Samsung did nothing to help.

After almost 3 years this washer is broken! We are a 2 person family and only do a few loads of laundry per week. The cost to fix the broken control panel is $600 because Samsung has a high fee for simple parts. Do not buy any appliances made by Samsung. They need to stick to TV’s only!
