Very nice quality screen and great for multitasking on my mac

This is an extremely disappointing product from Samsung. I purchased this less than 3 months ago to use as a monitor while working from home. It was working fine at first, but now the screen has been repeatedly going black every 5 minutes. It has been impossible to work using this monitor. The warranty policy is terrible. I now have to wait for them to order a new part, which will not arrive for 2-3 weeks before they can send a tech out to try to repair it. If the repair does not work, they will need to send another tech to look at it again before they will consider exchanging the monitor for a non-defective one. It is extremely frustrating to have spent $500 on a monitor for it to stop working within months, and for an established brand to have such awful customer service. I should have stuck to the two regular monitors I previously had, which together cost less than this one monitor, and never gave me issues in the years that I had them. I thought this monitor would be more aesthetically pleasing, but it is now just a useless piece of junk taking up space in my home. I had always been a fan of Samsung before this, but this experience has made me want to never buy another Samsung product again.

Pleasantly surprised at how crisp the screen was. I’m pretty close to the monitor when I work and I didn’t notice any pixel bleeds or darkness I’ve read in other reviews. I’d recommend it.

The online reviews don't stress enough that this monitor doesn't work as advertised. USB-C does not work. HDMI connection flickers and times out every 60 seconds or so.

Good enough for needs not perfect a little slow at times

The idea and purpose of this is great. Mine screen cam blemished but it is not a reflection of the item but a shipper

I bought an open box in excellent condition, but the monitor was delivered with missing screws for the stand. I contacted the Geek squad and waited two weeks with no update on replacement part. I had to return the monitor.

You can use smart TV features from this monitor but resolution is not that good. If you're sensitive to rough pixels, you'd better to search another model.

This is not a 4 screen monitor like Best Buy employee told me! After finally setting it up, I contacted Samsung support and they told me that it was not capable of doing anything other than be a normal monitor. Extremely upset that this is not able to handle more than just one device like the employee stated. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Overall good monitor I just have to get use to the size

Current monitor is an Acer ET430k that had an LED burn out. The samsung is currently the only new 43 inch monitor available from BB. Bought this as a monitor, did not intend to use the smart features and did not want smart features. After the monitor arrived I hooked it up to my PC and was instantly disappointed with how bad the display looked compared to my monitor from 2017. Very washed out, blacks were more grey, etc. Did a lot of adjustments and got a slightly better picture though the blacks just didnt measure up to most modern TVs. Used it the rest of the day and noticed the screen blacked out for a few seconds here and there. Thought that was weird and went to update the firmware to maybe fix this issue. You have to give samsung permission to basically sell all of your info to 3rd parties in order to update the firmware. When you update it, it also updates all the apps automatically. You cannot delete all the apps either. After spending a ton of time waiting for everything to update, noticed the screen blanking out more frequently. Went into menu and it was incredibly slow. Gave up and turned off monitor. Next day went to use monitor. Blanking out increased in frequency and duration. Tried unplugging and plugging back in, tried different hdmi cords, checking settings etc. Nothing seemed to help. Screen going blank to the point it was impossible to use. Disconnected and unmounted monitor. Hooked old one up and everything works perfect. Defective monitor. Dont think I will get another Samsung based not only on the defect, but the overall poor black levels and samsung forcing owners into giving up privacy to update firmware. Sadly not a lot of 43" choices at this price point at the moment.

This monitor gives me crisp, clear, easy to read print and video quality that is perfect for my old eyes.
