I replaced a Samsung 57-series with this 6500 and glad I did. It's worth the money. This one is much faster at navigating menus, has Samsung App Store (instead of Opera store), and Plex app. Plays large mkv files. Only downer I've noticed so far is the remote. Would prefer a navigation pad ( a la Harmony remote) instead of the separate direction buttons. I frequently hit the surrounding buttons, and lose the screen I'm working on.

Great features and easy connection with my Samsung tv. Interface with the hub was quick and intuitive.

This ultra high definition 3D bluray player is great! I really enjoy watching movies at home, but feel like I have the cinema effect. The web browser is nice, as well as the many other apps that are on it. The mirror app is the only one that I really have issues with so far. You have to find a good app on your phone/tablet that will sync with the player. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a good home theater 3D experience.

This Blue ray was suggested by the Best Buy associate. It sounds great and looks great. Easy to use

I bought it after reading consumer report . I needed DVD player with blue ray and wifii . I enjoyed clear crisp pictures and fast loading .

not a lot of selection for a 4k blu-ray. This player is like the same as all samsung players. makes it easy to use. Automatic upscales to 4k.

Bought as gifts as I have 2 previous versions of Samsung 3 d with smart hub and wanted to get one with the smart hub for parents. Great price so tried. So far so good. There have been major changes, but we still muddled through the set uo and they seem to like. I will be giving the other to my boyfriend when we celebrate Christmas this weekend. I should have better idea then and will update review if find problems.

My first Blu-ray player easy to use love the quality don't know why I took so long to get one

I purchased this player when I purchase my Samsung 4K TV after being told it would play 4K movies but unfortunately I discovered it will not be able to play them when they start coming out but it does upscale my Blu-ray movies beautifully So I am OK with my purchase as I know a 4K player will be very expensive when they first start coming out.

I've had several models of Samsung Blu-Ray Players. We have this model in another room and never had problems with it. When the price was drastically dropped as a Black Friday special, I couldn't pass up the deal. I purchased this as a replacement on our second TV. Our family uses the Netflix app all the time. Our old Samsung model lost Wi-Fi connection often or had buffering problems...not so with this model.
