Had no difficulty with 5.1 sound. Movie ran well. Compact.

Samsung makes a great unit but this series has the controls on the top of the case. This is a negative feature when you install it in a cabinet with other units ie: cable box, tuner, etc. when you need the controls in the front of the case facing out. I would not buy this unit again.

I have an OPPO, and was going to purchase another but decided to try out the Samsung 6500, worst case I'd put it in one of my kids rooms if it didn't meet our expectation. I installed it in our theater, 120" Elite Screen with a Sony VPLHW40ES Projector. Honestly, I couldn't see the difference in 99.5% of the content we watched over the OPPO 103D. The Samsung was 1/5th the cost, so I went out and bought a second. The load times are insanely fast for a BluRay player and the streaming content with Netflix and Amazon are seamless. This is a very high end BluRay at a bargain basement cost.

This product fits well on the floating shelf for the home theatre. It blends when it is not in use and just does not draw attention to itself. It is easy to load and easy to eject.

This router has all of the bells and whistles including connecting via wi-fi and screen mirroring which allows you to view your samsung phone on your TV. The apps included are great and you will spend days just playing with all of the cool features of this player.

Up scaling is obvious, a must for enjoying 4k. Don't need the 3D though. Set up was a breeze

I purchased this at the same time that I bought the 65" Samsung 4k Ultra HD television. I have not been disappointed, although I have yet to buy a 4K disk, the player makes my existing Blu-Ray's look awesome

Small and compact, but many great features and apps with the built in wifi. Also great with the Samsung tv's as it does an automatic input change, which makes things easy and convenient. I would definitely recommend.

needed a Blu-ray. looked quite a few over, found this one to do the trick, especially after I got it on sale! took a little bit to figure out remote, but, I still have a flip phone, which my 7 year old grandson says isn't "cool". probably operator error.

Overall great DVD for the $$ easy sync with Samsung TV

I wanted to be sure to get the most from my new SUHD TV so after reading up on Consumer Reports and other online sources I picked up this Blue Ray player and couldn't be happier. Like all of the Samsung Electroinics, the quality is second to none. Blue Ray discs look awesome - regular DVDS even look better. A great buy!

This disc player has many features, some of which I haven't used because my TV doesn't support them (UHD and 3D), but I plan to upgrade my TV soon. However, from what I have experienced, this is a fine device,and easy to use. I have a Samsung phone and use the screen mirroring to watch movies I have taken, photos, etc.
