So much easier not having to run network cables with the built in Wifi. I have a 4K TV and love the 4K upscaling

Paired this with a brand new 55" Samsung curved 4k tv and the picture is absolutely amazing. Must have for any 4k tv owner, especially a Samsung owner!

I purchased this Blu-Ray player to replace an older one that had been slowly dying. It connected easily to my home theater system and was easy to set up. The load times and performance has so far been very, very good. My only real complaint is that the eject, power, and other buttons on the player are nearly impossible to see in moderate or lower light conditions. They're also arrayed in a somewhat strange circular format. It took a few months of fumbling with the buttons to memorize the exact location of the eject button to get the tray to spit out.

I love the picture quality, the apps, backlight remote, etc. Everything this unit has. My only two critics are minor. I wish the Stop, Play, Pause buttons were on the front of the player versus on top and I wish the backlit button on the remote was up at the top of the remote versus the bottom. Those two minor issues keep it from being rated 5 stars.

I have had Samsung Blu ray players forever, and this is by far the best one yet. The others have all been garbage, breaking quickly even without excessive use. This one is fast, it remembers where you left off in a vid and it has lots of apps. That said, the biggest problem lies not only with this player, but with countless others, and that is the darn remote's layout. The HOME button, which takes the movie off and takes you to the main player's screen, is right above the play button, so if you're not actually looking down at the remote, you suddenly find yourself having to click back to the movie, which is frustrating. Honestly, it's like the designers never actually LIVE with their own design EVER before putting it out there for us to buy. Other than that, I like it a lot.

Does a good job with clarity and fast loading. If you want a better player pay the extra for the upgraded Sony. I did and definately noticed the difference in up scaling and clarity and sound.

This dvd player does exactly what I need it to do. It upscales my BluRays to 4k and plays 3D movies on my TV. Movies have never looked better!

Easy set up, works very well with built in wi go. Remote set up with other products, no problems so far. Size of product make for space saving.

Blue rays are great but the upscaling and the enhancement of DVD movie quality is exaggerated ... Also the remote is not very user friendly.

Plays discs great and also works well with my wifi. The nice tie in is the upscale on my old dvds.

Great picture. It worked right out of the box with easy set up. The Netflix app is really good and the player works great with a Samsung TV. The 4k isn't really that different from bluray.

Great price for 3D, blue ray UHD Player. Works great with my UHD tv. Just the right size. Easy to use.

Our first step in cutting the cable tv anchor we were told by our adult children to get a blue-ray dvd or make the move to a smart tv. We opted for the blue-ray, signed up for Amazon Prime and are happy with the choice. While I have to change the input source to use the blue-ray we have enjoyed great quality viewing of movies. DVD's run great and the system is easy to use for those of us 65 or older. Easy hook up, use and great quality. Hopefully we will decide on the right antennae to take care of the local viewing issue to ditch cable viewing

Great Blue-Ray player with wifi update capability and movie apps! Easy to set-up. Great picture

Ok, so perhaps everyone else already has an internet-streaming-enabled TV, but I do not, so this player enabled me to watch Netflix and Amazon Prime on my 50'' plasma instead of my computer screen. The video quality is excellent. The unit also allows to install some additional streaming apps from the Samsung app store, but those don't always work properly and those that do require subscription after a trial period. But a few a free. The primary function of the unit (BD/DVD) player functions as expected. However, it does not seem to remember the stopping position on the disk, so after I turn the unit off / on again, it starts the disk from the beginning. This can be frustrating. Also, the player sometimes loses connection to the wireless router when I first turn it on - sometimes I have to press the "Retry" button on the screen a couple of times, but it eventually finds the connection no problem. Finally, the 4K upscaling - I have not really had a chance to feel it since my TV is not 4K. The unit itself is sleek, small, fits nicely along with my other equipment on the TV stand. There aren't too many openings for dust to get in. The remote control is intuitive, but I find the positioning of the control buttons (used for the apps, such as Netflix) to be too low on the remote, so it is a bit uncomfortable to use them. Also, the buttons are all similar (albeit not same) size and shape and are spaced evenly apart, so I often end up pushing the wrong button. All-in-all, despite some drawbacks, this was a great purchase, especially at the "Deal of the Day" price.

I would have given this a lot better reviews if the remote had a mute button. Other than that it is a great product. I just can't believe they didn't put a mute button on the remote.

Upscale to 4k for an incredible picture quality. Easy to use and make for a great movie night ..

Easy to use and set up. I wanted it for the up convert capability. I didn't need the 3D capability but all the models that could convert to UHD included 3D. Best pricing for what I needed.

Love it! Now I can get rid of my satelite and use my TV only to see great movies, play wonderful games as well as listen to great music.
