    Does a good job playing dvds, and 3d dvds, only complaint is it doesn't shut off triggering my sound bar to switch back to it

    the unit is in complete darkness. It don't even have an indicator light to tell you weather the unit is on or off.

    Although there are many choices of apps on this device, many of the choice apps that we use on other streaming devices are not. A big one - Amazon. Another is Sling. A lot of choices doesn't always mean quality options. One other minor peeve is that there is no power led light so you don't know whether the player is left on accidentally after your monitor is powered down.

    Well we picked up this blue ray player for one reason, and that is because it will play all blue ray discs from all regions in the world. So that means if you buy steelbooks from over seas the disc will play and you wont have to buy an american version of the disc.
