First let me state this player DOES NOT play 4K UHD dvds as some reviews have stated. There's a newer Samsung model coming out April 5th, 2016 model K8500 that will play 4K UHD dvds. This model J7500/ZA is a great 3D Blu-ray player and Blu-ray disk player it does a great job up converting the 1080p Blu-ray to 3840x2160 at 60fps. I'm using this player on a Samsung 65" LED Curved 3D 4K UHDTV model UN65JU7500FXZA and a Samsung 8.1 channel Curved sound bar model J7500/ZA both also purchased at Best Buy. This triple J7500 series setup is why I stay home and buy 3D Blu-ray and Blu-ray movies instead of going to the movie theater. This setup has a better picture than a movie theater and the sound quality is really good and alot of that is contributed to the Samsung 8.1 channel curved sound bar with this higher end 3D Blu-ray 4K up scaling dvd player doing what it does with the content on the Blu-ray dvd itself. If watching 4K UHD DVD movies are important to you then you may want to wait to buy the Samsung model K8500. Myself I knew 8 months ago when I bought all 3 of these Samsung devices that a 4K UHD dvd player was coming out in April 2016, but I couldn't wait that long to have a 3D Blu-ray Player With 4K up scaling. This player also has both 2k and 5k bands for your wireless Internet, the remote is adequate, has the smart function for streaming most newer TVs do so, so it's over kill. The newer Roku 4 is up scaling 3840x2160p at 60fps which I also have and it's far better than the smart part of this player and the TV's smart part too. For the price of this player it's a good value because of quality of the audio decoding, picture signal quality, smart streaming, dual band wireless connection and 3D Blu-ray Player. If you have a 3D UHDTV you have to have a 3D Blu-ray up scaling player to play those 3D Blu-ray movies. When you get this new player home be sure to update the firmware and setup auto update in settings. Also make sure the audio delay is set to zero so when people talk then their lips match with what their saying. For some reason my player was set to a 250ms delay. Also make sure you buy a high speed HDMI cable to hook it up to your UHDTV, your older HDMI cables you used for 1080p signal won't handle the increased bandwidth needed for 3840x2160p at 60 fps. Like I said before, if playing 4K UHD dvds isn't important to you then this J7500 model is definitely worth a serious look.

Flawless performance. Blu Ray loads fast, sharp picture, crisp audio. Wireless function and multimedia operate without skipping a beat. Apps are awesome and plentiful. Upscaling is great. Menu is user friendly. No complaints. Initially purchased Sony s7200 and returned for this player. No question in comparison, the J7500 is a better performer and does not experience the multimedia issues plaguing the Sony.

Does not support playing 4K UHD dvds, returned for a different Blu ray player.

I ordered this item 2 times with both being the Best Buy OPEN BOX - EXCELLENT condition items. I had issues both times with the products I received, with the 2nd time not even being the right product in the box. I was VERY disappointed and will probably never again purchase an open-box item. Bought this a few years ago. Very slow to access the blu rays. Remote and menus are not very intuitive. Needs and overhaul

Been trying to make it work for almost a week now! Even did a system/firmware update but futile. Not sure if it's the compatibility with our A/V system but my HDTV & receivers are both Magnolia certified? Will need to return to store tomorrow...

Ordered on Sunday,received on Tuesday,fast shipping was nice. Low profile unit fits well in our stand. Plenty of settings options and picture quality is truly amazing. Very easy network set up. Apps are a plus. Overall,nice unit with a really nice price,get it before the sales end on this model.

two months old and probaly ten movies played on it and now it wont turn on at all. i would not buy this at all. this is the first product from samsung that i have ever had a issue with out of seven years

Spent hours with Samsung customer service trying to get unit to work with no success. Total waste of time.
