Ice maker troubles

The ice maker seems to be a thorn in my side. I have followed every troubleshooting guideline and still struggle with making ice. Tried contacting the support center and sat on hold for what seemed like an eternity. I love the fridge but struggle with the ice maker.

Plus, the two ice cube size options are great! There seems to be a light whistle-like sound that comes from the fridge. Still trying to figure that out.
