This does cover the Tab and hold the pen. Only provides one viewing position. Will not protect if dropped. Corners are almost exposed. Will come off and on easily. Good if intentional, bad if not.

This is by far one of the best cases for a tablet I have ever used. Typically brands (hi, Apple) make only covers that protect the front of the device and do not have an area for their supported stylus. Samsung hit this one out of the park. The cover is understated and very useful with its various viewing angles. It is pricey when not on sale for $34.99.

I have used quite a few 3rd party covers and cases for my Galaxy Tab S6 but I have to admit that the official Samsung Book Cover is my favorite. This cover fully protects the tablet while also showcasing its sleek look. Hopefully you'll be able to catch this item on sale because the biggest con with 3rd party vs the original manufacturer is the cost!

I have both the keyboard case and this one. I love this case! The color is awesome....matches the tablet...a pretty light blue with a touch of aqua. It is extremely lightweight, hard to get dirty, and it attaches with magnets. I also like that it protects the pen....so many cases do NOT do this and I am afraid of losing it as the pen does come off easily even though it also attaches by magnet. While I have the case open (like a book, I can place the pen on the side where the keyboard mounts and the magnets hold the pen...this is handy for when I need to use it but don't want to hold it. I also have a leather case for it but prefer this one as it is lighter and doesn't have a lip around the tablet...on my leather one, the lip traps dirt and it lifts when I fold the case. The only thing I don't like about the case is that it is limited to 2 folding positions. I wish that they made cases that folded like the origami cases where you could also fold it for portrait mode.

It does the job fine, but there are definitely cheaper options online. In hindsight I should've ordered my case when I online days before I actually bought the tablet. I didn't want this to be unprotected even for one hour.

It helps hold the pen in a secure place so you don't lose it. The magnets hold the lid on the tablet securely. It leaves the edges exposed so that can be an issue if you drop it.

I bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 for my daughter. We already know to get some type of cover for protection for our electronics, so I got the black tablet, which was less expensive and the blue book cover since this is what would show around the tablet in the color she wanted (with added stickers).

I got this as a companion to my Tab S6. It is very light and fits perfectly to the tablet. It also has a compartment for the S-Pen. Overall a good cover but if you need something that will protect the tablet from falls you may need to get an Otterbox. This case is more cosmetic than protective.

Was expensive compared to other brands, but great quality, fits exactly, color coordinated and is designed to store the S-pen while the pen is charging. I have had oem Samsung covers for my previous Samsung tablets and would not buy anything else.

The cover was a bit pricey for what you get. But I needed something to protect my tablet. The cover has a cutout for the camera, but in order to take photos with the cover on you have flip the front to the back and that covers the camera hole. The magnet that secures the front to the back for propping the tablet is flaky. It sometimes slips off. I do like that it is very easy to put on and off of the tablet. I like that it secures the pen to the back.

Excellent cover for the S6 Samsung Tablet, although a bit pricey. However, it is on sale right now so this would be an ideal time for purchase, if you need this Samsung accessory. It does fit perfectly, protects the Tablet quite well, and I believe that it should last for a long while.

Great product. Folio case style. Has some choices of color that coordinates with tablet. Custom made for the S6. Perfect fit. Magnetically adheres to tablet. Stays put. Also shaped to cover S6's stylus. Built-in stand. Tablet lights up when open and darkens when closed.

If you are looking for something that will cover your screen and secure your pen without adding a lot of weight, and don't need an attached keyboard, this cover would be for you. It has a nice, grippy texture to it, so it shouldn't just slip out of your hand. It attaches by magnets, and the magnets hold tight, so even when using the cover as a "kickstand", you can be confident it won't just fall over. Likewise, the cover goes over the pen and keeps it secure as well. Goes without saying, this cover offers little in drop protection. But if you are not worried about dropping the tablet, this is a solid cover to get for now.

Fantastic cover. Great grip. Small footprint. Feels great to hold like a book. S pen fits safely inside its flap without worrying about knocking the s pen off. It is also easier to insert the pen into the holder first and then close it rather than searching for the magnetic attachment points. Just make sure the pen is in properly with the button facing away from the back of the tablet. It is very stable at both angles so it won't tip over. Worth the price. Especially since some third party magnetic covers can interfere with the s pen.

This Samsung Book Cover is just what it says, a Book Cover, yet it allows Landscape mode Propping up for watching videos. The pro is that it has a slim and trim design that doesn't add any bulk to the tablet. However, all of the outside edges of the tablet are exposed and there is no thick padding on the inside of this Book Cover. If you are searching for a more protective CASE LIKE COVER, there are other very well made and protective covers that Best Buy sells. Personally, I like this cover because I prefer a slim/trim Book Cover on my tablet. Overall rating 4.3 stars rounded off to 4 stars,

Fits the tablet perfectly. Attaches by strong magnets and holds well but may slip with a hard jerk. My old Tab S2 had one that attaches with a couple of posts.

I bought this cover for my new S6 FROM T-mobile and love it. It's similar to the cover I had on my S4, but I like the S-pen compartment better with this setup. It works as a stand, protects my tablet, and looks sleek. I'd definitely recommend it.

This cover had very strong magnes to hold the tablet in place even when shaking it. Keeping the pen in contact with the tablet ensures it is always fully charged as the tablet is charged. The case fits perfectly and looks great.

I love the Samsung Book Cover for the Galaxy Tab S6. It is sleek and innovative. It is light and does not add weight to the tab. Best Buy is always my first for all my tech supplies.

The magnets in this case are strong. The tablet fits and props up nicely for watching videos.
