I recently bought a Samsung tab A from Best Buy and decided I needed a cover to protect it. I looked around at the generic brands and couldn't find one I liked. So, I went back to Best Buy to see if they had something. I asked the guy at the Samsung counter and he showed me the case made for the tab A. They just got some in and all he could say was it's made for my tab so, I bought it. I got home and took it out of the pack and it didn't have any elastic bands or plastic corners to hold it in. I thought I got a defective one but I stuck the tab in to see if it fit anyway. To my surprise, the back of the tab has metal in it and the case is magnetic, it held. The S-pin is in the lower right and the right edge of the case folds down to get to the pen. When you open the cover, the tab comes on without pushing the on button. This is a fantastic case...well worth the price.

I was expecting a case that actually holds the tablet and allows you to prop it up (like a phone case for instance), but it's just a magnetized sleeve that doesn't hold the tablet up well. You can't secure it if you want to walk around with it, it can easily slip out. I've considered returning it. Had to order separate case that does what I want on Amazon.

When it comes to protecting the Galaxy Tab, this case does well. However, when it comes to standing up for watching videos or presentations, not so much. The flaps just fold back in on themselves with the slightest pressure. There are much better products out there.

Does everything you need it to do. Strong durable and it does not block the hole where the pen slids in. It is on the expensive side, but if you have the money it's worth every penny.

Stay away. This item relies on magnet to hold the tablet in place. And, it didn't.

This was one of 2 items that were available for this size notebook. The other one was out of stock so I bought this one. Problems with it are that the magnet is not strong enough to hold it on to the notebook. I end up putting rubber bands around it so the notebook doesn't come falling out. Real stylish! not.

This is a really good case for my Galaxy Tab A 2016 10.1. I love the way it auto shuts off once its closed. It gives great protection for your tablet too. I have already dropped it and no broken screen.

This is a pretty good cover/folio. It is magnetized so it doesn't connect to the tablet anywhere. This makes it a little difficult to keep the tablet in the cover as the tablet will shift around. All in all though it is a good product.

This is nice, but overpriced for what you get (and not that protective)

The cover is cradles my tablet nicely being held firmly in place by magnets; it is versatile for several configurations when setting the tablet down and allows easy access to all the control buttons, camera, ... It also helps to save energy by turning off the screen when closing and turning it back on upon opening. The only thing I wonder about is magnets so close to a digital device ...
