    Not a huge fan. Quality is good. But the curve and the viewing angles with the matte finish looks terrible. Not for me, but if you don't mind a VA panel and the curve, the it's fine.

    I purchased this monitor and loved how it looked in my condo. The shiny white plastic made it blend in well with my decor in my tiny space where everything can be seen. The cord management was nice as well, but limited cables can be used and you will most likely need an adapter. I purchased an LG 27UK600 and loved it way more. It costs slightly more but was worth it. I was able to see them side by side and the quality of the resolution was so much better on the LG.

  • Poor Resolution, Poor Tech Support

    I got 2 of these monitors. I connected one to a MacBook Pro (Retina display, 2560x1600) via direct HDMI connection. Tried everything I could to fix the poor image quality and terrible jagged text quality to no avail. Bought a 4K Mini-Display to HDMI adaptor and went from Thunderbolt-to-HDMI-adaptor to Monitor-HDMI because I thought perhaps the monitor HDMI cable could not handle higher than 1080 resolution. Got same results. Spent several hours checking and adjusting resolution but nothing worked. My expectation was this monitor would look much sharper at 2560x1440 but not the case. Ended up calling Samsung tech support. These guys know nothing but PC and every question was answered by "Monitor is fine ... consult with Apple about their operating system!" The tech support is not prepared for anything beyond simple on/off questions. So I gave up and returned the first monitor. Connected the 2nd monitor to a PC laptop (Dell XPS13) via the mini Display Port to the monitor HDMI Port (for which I bought a brand new DP to HDMI adaptor). This laptop was already connected to another monitor at 1920x1080 with great clarity. Got the same terrible quality with a PC: text/graphic quality was blurry and jagged. Tried all settings and still quality was really bad. I changed cables, tried other settings, and researched online but did find any useful tips. I contacted Samsung (again) and their line was "monitor should work fine ... reset it ... reset your laptop ..." Well, after 2 days of trying to resolve this I just gave up: too much time to spend on setting up a monitor. So I just returned this one too. I asked a few tech people about this monitor and lets' just say I am not the only one returning this monitor!! So now, after dealing with Samsung and not giving them authorization to set me up with an account, they have just gone ahead and sent me a "Welcome to Samsung Rewards" email which means they got me on their marketing email list and I will be receiving daily emails about products and more! Summary: Poor resolution and insufficient tech support. I would not recommend this, specially for Mac users.
