Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Chromebook Plus 2-in-1's touchscreen, ease of use, lightweight design, and good battery life. Many appreciate its convenient size and performance capabilities. However, some users express disappointment with the sound quality of the speakers and the lack of a standard USB port. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the negative comments regarding the less-than-ideal audio and port selection.

I love my Samsung Chromebook Plus - It did have a known bug (from early builds) where the touch screen would slowly become unusable. Samsung replaced and has been wonderful ever since.

I got this for my daughter because it is what they use at her school so she is familiar with using it. It was priced right and should accommodate both her schoolwork and her games. Will update after she has an opportunity to put it to use.

It is super cute and exactly what was expected. It's lightweight, came with a pen, battery lasts a couple of days, and it runs play store apps.

My previous laptop crashed when I had an assignment due in less than 4hours. I bought this and was able to set up and get right back to work an hour after my old laptop stopped working. Set up was easy, battery life is great. I like it way better than microsoft and windows. I dont have to worry at all about compatibility b/c it automatically coverts any document I need to a google friendly format. I'm so glad I ditched windows for google.

I used to sit around with a tablet on my lap - now my Chromebook is all I use. Slim, light and easy to travel with, too.

Second only to the Google Pixel Chromebook, this thing works well. Screen is top notch but small. Speaker are subpar. Screen scaling sucks.

Very happy with this Chromebook. The screen is very clear. Response is very good. I would recommend buying this one over the cheaper ones with the dull screens because it makes a big difference. Having the stylus is a big bonus.

Love this chromebook! Picture quality is much better than older model and I love the flexibility of being able to fold it into a tablet. I use this mainly for my online schooling and it has not failed me! Great buy for students

I bought this Chromebook for my daughter, who wanted something easier to use at school than her iPad. There was a less expensive one, but she liked that this has a stylus for drawing. Works as expected. She's enjoying it.

I decided to buy a Chromebook after having to reinstall Windows on my higher end Acer 2 times since buying it 6 months ago. Here's what I really like about the Samsung Chromebook Plus: Very nice display, vivid and bright. Touchscreen and included stylus work great. Having appstore ready out of the box is awesome. Really thin and light. These things might be a plus or a minus, just depends on your taste: Square 12" screen- 12" diameter of a square is larger than 12" of widescreen, I like it, but depends on your needs. Silver magnesium body. Feels like metal and it is metal, but the sparkle of the silver paint is a bit different. I'd prefer brushed aluminum. USB-C, super fast and same port charges laptop- I love USB-C, but you'll need an adapter for older USB devices or HDMI- I got one for $35 that handles 4 older USB inputs and 1 HDMI. Mouse pad- I'm not crazy about it. There's no "right click" you can use an external mouse, but when I don't have mine, I still can't figure out how to do simple right click tasks easily. Minuses: Keys are not backlit- really Samsung? At $450 (more for the pro) I can't get backlit keys? Much less expensive Chromebooks have it, I got really used to having it with my last laptop. Battery life- I keep the screen at about medium brightness and I get about 8 hours. Not terrible, but not what I expected either. Overall it's a nice laptop. I get compliments, questions and looks all the time, it just looks like a nicer laptop and the s pen is cool.

It's light, fast and while not Windows, the Chrome operating system is smooth and quick. And with Google Docs you don't need MS Office

I was traveling and my laptop died, I tried just a tablet and the thing was clumsy and useless. The price for this and how well is works is awesome. It can be a tablet or a laptop with keyboard and does well with both.

I had just bought the Samsung 11.6 Chromebook, and this was a display model marked down significantly. I bought it for the many different options it offered, such as USB-C, touch screen, better resolution. Great unit!

This Chromebook rivals a lot of Windows based PCs. If you don't need to store anything, and mainly surf the interent, stream movies, and use Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc...then this is the computer for you. It is the best bang for your buck. I especially love the bright and clear screen, the included stylus, and the fast 6 core processor. Another bonus includes being able to download apps from the Google Play Store that has a ton of Android apps that you would normally use on a tablet or phone.

I love the versatility of using it as a laptop or tablet, The USB-C charging configuration eliminates the bulky power brick that comes with most laptops & chromebooks. A perfect companion for my Pixel2 XL.

Light, sleek, and fast so far. Reason for 4 star is because the touch pad is a little stiff when double clicking.

    The future of Chromebooks

I can't stress enough how much more value is added to this platform by having access to Android apps. Because it can flip to tablet mode, this doubles as a nice usable Chromebook laptop, but also a LARGE Android tablet. In certain cases, I've found myself preferring the Android version of the app to the Chrome version - like Google Books; and it's nice to be able to have that option. The battery life is pretty good and the form factor is a nice solid build. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
