Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Chromebook Plus 2-in-1's touchscreen, ease of use, lightweight design, and good battery life. Many appreciate its convenient size and performance capabilities. However, some users express disappointment with the sound quality of the speakers and the lack of a standard USB port. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the negative comments regarding the less-than-ideal audio and port selection.

I bought this for my wife who only needs a laptop for browsing face book and playing games like Candy Crush. She is not used to using a touch screen but is getting used to it for some tasks. She also does not use it as a tablet b/c she like a keyboard. It's very light and thin. Battery has been ok at 6-7 hours on a charge.

I had a Chromebook a few years ago and it left a lot to be desired. The Samsung Chromebook Plus has converted me back. Great screen, can use Google Playstore apps, includes a typical great stylus from Samsung, and it's a touchscreen. Very speedy.

This laptop is all I every wanted and more. It's very light, flips to a tablet, fast speeds, and it's touchscreen. Not to mention the stylus is dope !! If I squint really hard it even looks like a MacBook ha! I recommend to anyone who likes a medium sized laptop and don't mind using google apps. Bye bye windows

This Chromebook is, for me, the perfect compromise between size and usability. The high-DPI screen allows me to connect remotely to my workstations and servers at work at full 1080P although I usually dial the resolution down a little since the screen is physical small. The screen itself looks great, and is a pleasure to view. The keyboard is a little smaller than I'd like, but my fingers adjust quickly when I swap between this and my desktop keyboard and MacBook Pro Retina 15" keyboard. I *really* wish it was backlit, which is the only major gripe I have about the keyboard. I've had no problems opening multiple tabs in Chrome. I don't use Android very often, but when I do, I tend to only have one Android app open at a time, as I prefer to stay in the Chrome browser world as much as I can, since Android usability can vary from app to app since Android capability on Chrome OS is still fairly new and still a work in progress. However, when I do use Android apps (such as Squid and Money Wiz 2), I've had no performance issues and they work quite well. Some Android apps don't work quite as well -- and Money Wiz 2 does look rather stretched since it was really designed for a phone UI, but it does work and use the whole screen real estate. The included pen / stylus shows a slight bit of a lag, but not terrible at all, and definitely better than the third-party stylus experience on a non-Pro iPad that only has a capacitive display, like my entry level 2017 iPad. I can "ink" easily, although I tend to not use this feature very often, frankly, but it's nice to know I have it. The bottom line for me is: keyboard I can type quickly on without fuss (after a short adjustment period), beautiful, high-resolution screen, tablet functionality to run a few Android gaps to fill in the app void of Chrome OS for those minor occasions when I need a "real" app, and SUPREME portability.. this thing is THIN. I put it in my little miniature backpack along with a small Kindle e-reader and my iPad and my portable rig (little portable battery, charging cables, even Chromebook Plus charger) and it all fits fine -- no more lugging around a big, bulky messenger bag or backpack! If you can get away with not needing the full power of Windows or macOS apps, this is a WONDERFUL little computer.

I researched all available chromebooks before making this purchase and am very happy with this decision. The Samsung Chromebook Plus is extremely light weight and has a long battery life. The included stylus is very responsive. This is a great device for browsing the internet and running Android apps.

This laptop is so light and convienant! Despite everything being related to google (documents, sheets, etc.) it gets the work done. I love the touch screen feature. Only thing I really despise is that you CANNOT put a usb, mouse, or hdmi cord into this lab without buying a usb- c cord :(

I fell in love with the design of this Chromebook. It's very light and feels like it's a premium device. The screen is gorgeous and the speakers get loud enough. The icing on the cake is that it runs Android apps. I haven't really used the S pen yet but it's nice to have. I love to browse the web and watch movies on this thing. Battery life is also good enough. I'm getting about eight hours. Did I mention how gorgeous the display is? I got it to replace my Nexus 9. I'm not sold on using this thing like a tablet. There's not enough bezel to get a good grip on it but it's not a deal breaker for me. Considering getting one for my wife.

Her school uses Google classroom - so everything works very well together. She likes the performance, speed and the stylus that is included. The usb port is very nice for exporting documents, pictures or anything else too big to store on the included flash memory.

First the positives: - Great Screen, seriously can't be matched outside of its upgrade Chromebook Pro model for less than $700 for an iPad Pro or better laptop. - Great Chrome Experience with frequent, fast, and painless OS updates and Chrome Syncing - Nice availability of Apps on Play store - Great durability and good quality feel - Good multi-tasking within Chrome tabs **but see cons about android apps - Stylus is GREAT - Awesome for travel with hinged screen and such to make it work where you want to use it Cons: - Sometimes android apps are buggy, but its gotten better over the months of updates I've received since getting the device. - Battery life seems like it should be better. I get around 6-7 hours normally. Standby for only about a week if left off the charger and unused. - Will probably buckle under the pressure of running multiple android apps and chrome windows.

I just purchased a Google chromebook and I really like it. It's real convenient for me when I'm trying to upload pictures from my phone to it, it's real light (unlike some laptops) and just overall, it was a real great purchase and I am very glad I got it.

The features are great and it's sleek and lightweight. The only thing to remember is that it isn't a pc so it's going to identify as a mobile device on programs and it doesn't have a USB port. Overall though it's a great portable computer.

The ability of this computer far exceeds its price. This is the perfect second device for basic Web tasks with the benefit of having android apps. Pros: - Chrome OS - Light Weight - Good Stylus (not great, but very useable for sketching and taking hand written notes) - Terrific Battery Life - Good quality screen - Great form factor for writing - Android Apps - FAST - 2 x USB Cs - 360 Hinge - Terrific price Cons: - Touch screen responsiveness with fingers is a bit off - Speakers are weak - Lack of USB-A - No back lighting

Software: The computer functions exactly how you would expect something from google to function. I love how easy the setup and integration process is with respect to other google products. It took very little time to have all my apps and documents ready to go. The S-pen: The S-pen is particularly convenient. Great for presentations with the laser pointer feature. The magnifying glass is great for when I don't feel like leaning in. The pen makes for easier navigation of the chrome book and web pages. The Screen: The screen is as expected from Samsung. Spectacular. It does not smear very easy like I have experienced with other touch screens, and stays true to where you touch. I very rarely have a need to use the touch-pad. Battery: The battery actually lasts a long time. First device I can go from 7am when I wake up to when I sleep with heavy use and without having to charge. Convenience/design: The chrome book is extremely light and non-intrusive. The engineers make good work with the space they have. The keys are normal sized on the keyboard, and the touch-pad does not get in the way while you type. Cons: My only issue is, as soon as I opened the box. I plugged in my chrome book and set it on the coffee table. I left it there to charge (Without moving it). When I went to retrieve my chrome book. I moved it from coffee table to my desk I noticed deep scratches on the bottom of the chrome book. The Aluminum body does not seem to weather well cosmetically. Only thing keeping this 3 starts is it's performance and convenience. A product should not have a scratch less then a few hours into normal use.

I bought this computer 4 years ago and it has probably been my best computing device I've ever purchased from a cost to use standpoint. I was able to get it on sale in 2017 for $359. It wasn't even the most powerful Chromebook at that time much less now. I bought it for school as I was going back to college and wanted something that was inexpensive and useful. I am an education/biology major and the vast majority of my work has been editing documents, research, writing, and things of that nature. This has handled it all. My only problems were with manipulating Excel files. It can be done with a little workaround elbow grease and is a feature of all Chromebooks. It was just easier to use my wife's Windows machine. My only other problem was attempting to download very large PowerPoint files, but after talking to other people in class they all had that problem with their much more expensive Mac and Windows machines. I've done countless research assignments with multiple windows open and up to 10 tabs open in each. The only times I have hiccups are when the internet is slow in my house. I am thinking of upgrading soon just to get one with more memory. All that being said I will graduate soon and used this machine for an entire college experience. It's been great and the screen is awesome. I also love the keyboard, though some had problems with it. Also the battery still holds up and I get around 6-7 hours of use still with the screen brightness up around 70%

This the perfect laptop to use for surfing the web. The construction is great, screen is great, and fast enough to work a web browser with no delays. This was my first chrome book and I have to say these are the only laptops I'd buy anymore. I wouldn't recommend this to be the only computer in your house, but to have a handy device that can chill out on your lap while you're on the couch it's perfect. The battery lasts me quite a few days of normal/light use and it takes less than an hour to fully charge.

It is a slow device, slower than my phone, slower than my 2 years old Android tablet, it doesn't feel like an improvement over my previous 2+ years old Chromebook. Maybe I should have bought the pro version with an Intel processor, but what I paid was the maximum I was willing to pay for this kind of device. The pen is almost useless, the palm rejection doesn't work well enough, I don't see the point of adding a pen. I'm not completely disappointed, the screen is very nice for a device of this price, the battery last for a long time and the overall design doesn't feel too cheap
