Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Chromebook Plus 2-in-1's touchscreen, ease of use, lightweight design, and good battery life. Many appreciate its convenient size and performance capabilities. However, some users express disappointment with the sound quality of the speakers and the lack of a standard USB port. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the negative comments regarding the less-than-ideal audio and port selection.

Well-built with a premium feel, great for anyone who doesn't open a large number of tabs, and doesn't need to run heavy-duty Android apps via emulation. The screen is stellar. Note that there are no USB A ports, so you'll need an adapter if you want to connect USB A type devices.

The s pen set the deal in stone! Stylus comes in extremely handy if you just want to scroll or many of the other functions of the pen. The key board is great as I can not type on a screen with any accuracy or speed with my fingers adios senoritas I can on a traditional keyboard.

This device is for those that need an inexpensive device and are wed to a notebook form factor. If you aren't wed to an attached keyboard, get an iPad and Bluetooth keyboard and you'll be better off. I love Samsung products, but this isn't up to snuff. I returned it.

This has been a great first computer for my little girl who is 6 and is congruent to what most schools are using in the classroom. She loves it and the cost was great and does most everything the very spendy computers do, at least everything a child would need it for.

As I use this for work purposes, it isn't blazing fast and even sometimes lags a bit but it does get the job done most of the time. I am happy with the purchase. I needed something that came with a pen and this was one of the cheapest options at the time.

    Screen Glitches

At first the Samsung Chromebook worked great, I purchased it in April. Then about 6 months after owning now in October the touchscreen sensors are malfunctioning rendering the machine unusable. I am still covered by the manufacture's one year warranty but it is disappointing to pay a good sum of money for something that is not well-built. Technology is prone to either break or not work so I recommend always buying the Best Buy coverage. I am an unsatisfied customer if anyone out there can recommend a well-built laptop please let me know, touchscreen is not a necessary option after all.

    A little overpriced...

As of this review, I've owned and used this tablet for a little over a month. It's a premium price for what amounts to basically a tablet with a keyboard (and pen). The speaker crackles on occasion, it crashes on average about once a day, and the hinge is starting to weaken. On the other hand, beautiful screen resolution, pretty good responsiveness, and metal shell (or what feels like a metal shell). Google's decision to add Android's Play Store to the Chromebook OS is an excellent idea though not all apps are guaranteed to be able to run (i.e. Pokemon Go). As much as I like this Chromebook, I don't recommend it. At least not for the current price of $450. $350 seems like a reasonable price, even if it is on the higher end for Chromebooks.

I love the idea of this chromebook. It doubles as a laptop and an android tablet, meaning it can download Netflix videos using the android app. I had a few issues with the wifi chip. It appears to be underpowered and struggles to connect to some older routers.

This is my first Chromebook and I'm so happy I took the plunge. I needed a laptop replacement for email, light office work, and surfing. Strong build quality, fast, and excellent video. Does everything I need.

I love the Chromebook plus. I am able to get all my paperwork for work done, then flip it into a tablet to play games from the play Store. Only problem is intermittent loud static sound from speakers when playing games. Speakers need a lot of improvement with volume.

Beautiful Display; Lags on Google Slides Files

I bought this to use in my classroom. The display is stunning and the stylus works well. It works well for general browsing, videos, drawing apps, etc. My main problem is that I frequently use Google Slides presentations in class. When I load up a presentation, it is very slow to respond to keypresses. I can delete text, but it is very slow to delete. Then, when I let off the delete key, it keeps on deleting beyond what I wanted to delete. When I type in new content, the text being displayed lags behind what I'm typing. My little ASUS Flip C100 handles the same presentations with no perceived lag. If you won't be relying on Google Slides, I think the Chromebook Plus should work well for you.

The best of both worlds, a laptop with tablet qual

The Samsung Chrome Book is indeed the best of both worlds. It works like a laptop and also functions like a tablet. It is indeed a glorified web browser and all is done via Google chrome web. But this device supports the play store which opens a world of possibilities.

This chrome is the best! It has everything you need if you're a minimalist type of person. I got this during a sale, so the price wasn't bad. I only gave it 4 stars because of lack of configuration. I wish they had this with an i5 or i3 with 8 gigs of ram.

Absolutely love this Chromebook. It's touchscreen and comes with pen that nests right in side of computer. You can use your finger or the pen. Also folds flat so you can use as a tablet. Love that it syncs with my pixel XL phone since it's all Google based.

The Chromebook is a great low cost computer for users that use Google applications. Syncs up Google documents, files and photos seamlessly with Android phones allowing you to always have access to you data and documents. Wish printing was easier to implement.

It it nice, but it is not a "full computer". It is great for a student, or someone that only surfs the Internet. The screen in brilliant, but know what you are buying. The laptop is a steal if you can get it for under $300.

Really encapsulates what I was looking for in a device. Functionality of a laptop and convenience of a tablet. Works as well for playing android games as it does for typing up documents. I love it.

Good for internet basics....but for me it did not feel like a laptop even keyboard is not set up with basic function keys that I'm used to on a laptop like "end" "caps" it has these functions but not with dedicated keys. I can do more on my phone

My wife wanted a Chromebook for school (she's a teacher) since her class uses Chromebooks exclusively. She loves it and it's everything she needed in a laptop plus she loves the spen that's built into the laptop. By far one of my smartest purchases for her

This small, lightweight Chromebook also runs android apps and has stylus support (stylus included), making this the most productive Chromebook I've seen/used. The touch display is sharp and bright, the keyboard adequate. All combined, I'm extremely pleased.
