I had the Plus version for quite awhile and liked it a lot, but it just couldn't keep up. When the Pixelbook came out I purchased it and loved the hardware, but the pen was awful and had a problem spending $1300 on something I didn't love. I returned it and purchase a Samsung Windows laptop, and remembered how much of a hassle Windows is on the day to day, after using a Chromebook it's hard to go back to Windows, I also have a Desktop I can use for pictures, etc. I returned that laptop and bought the Chromebook Pro and really enjoy it. It's the perfect size and weight, great screen, Android apps are very useful (but not perfect), I use the pen a ton, battery life has been good, it is much faster than the Plus. Despite how much I love it, I can not give it a 5*, the speakers are bad, the keyboard feels very cheap (especially compared to the Pixelbook), and Android apps have a ways to go on a Chromebook. If you can live with the negatives, it is a great device.

I researched many Chromebooks and laptops and found this to be the one that I wanted. I read reviews on many of them and like the Samsung product, so decided to get this one. I was having Wi-Fi problems and could not use it when I first got it. Now the Wi-Fi is fixed and the Chromebook is great. A little different from my Mac Pro, but it is more like my Samsung Note 8 phone. I really enjoy using it and my phone.

I like its speed and it's easy to use. Unfortunately, mine freezes quite often. It's happened almost every day for the past week. It just locks up while you are working with it. My granddaughter, however, is not having the same problem. So maybe I received a defective one.

This laptop has replaced my Microsoft Surface Book (gen 2). The OS is much more responsive and faster than Windows 10 Pro. I love the fact that I can run android apps as well as chrome os apps and the experience is seamless. Thus far my laptop hasn't ever crashed and can handle multiple windows being open. Overall, the Samsung Chromebook Pro is light, attractive, and responsive.

Nice product for new computer beginners. Not enough functionality for me. I returned the product for a HP Spectre 360.

This chromebook is super simple, and perfect to use for school. It does have access to the google play store so it does work well for apps and games as well. It is very quick too. The downside is it doesnt have any usb ports though. Its great if you dont need all of the extras that a laptop normally has

I have been wanting to transition to more cloud based operating systems with more Google integration. This Chromebook has all I need for browsing, note taking, adding information across all my devices. Zoom meetings are easily joined. Speaker volume ok.

The Samsung Chromebook Pro and Plus are the two of the lightest Chromebooks with a display size over 11 inches I could currently find, and both have displays that have 2400 by 1600 resolution.
The Chromebook Plus runs a 32bit version of Chrome OS while the Chromebook Pro runs a 64 bit version which looks like a Chromebook Pro with the 32 GB main drive option would only have about 20 GB of free space as apposed to the over 48 GB of free space that the 64 GB version has. Free space almost always decreases with use, it is fortunate that both the 32 GB and 64 GB models of the Chromebook Pro are currently the same price.
I personally had almost no interest in chromebooks until Google announced the initiative to bring the Android emulation and applications to chromebooks, not having to do the about an hour of update and disk cleanup each month needed on a small Windows system was very attractive. I haven't found a lot of Chromebook applications that work as well as the Android and Windows applications I am used to but this fall I found chromebooks that would run many of the applications I use on Android tables. I have found that a number of Android application run but for many cases a touch screen is necessary. And there are some application still wont run or have significant limitations, with time I think the Android applications and Chromebooks will improve. There are enough of the applications I use on an android tablet that will run on a chromebook that I have bought a chromebook.
The Samsung Chromebook Pro is the second fastest chromebook I have tried, the Google Pixelbook is faster with a faster processor, more RAM, larger and faster disk, only about an ounce greater weight but right now it is almost twice the cost. There are probably other chromebooks that are similar in speed to the Samsung but as far as I can tell right now most are either significantly heavier or have lower resolution displays so I chose to look at the Samsung Chromebook Plus and Pro.
The Samsung Chromebook Pro has about 8 hours battery life in my normal use, if I binge watch a streaming vidio that drops to about 15% if battery life per hour, about 6 hours until I stop to recharge. So with my normal mix of usage basically I get a full day operation between recharges. When I first got the Chromebook Pro the keyboard touch seemed a little rough but after a couple days of us it smoothed out. The keyboard doesn't have backlighting which is one thing I miss. The speakers seem to be sufficiently loud but like a lot of portable systems are not theater quality sound but I can add a set of earphones or external speakers and produce very satisfactory sound fidality.
I like the Samsung Chromebook Pro its fast has one of the largest storages outside of the Pixelbooks and it has a micro SD storage expansion slot, it is one of the lightest chromebooks with 2400 by 1600 resolution and it is quite well constructed and the price is about half the price of the premium state of the art Google Pixelbook..
I recommend the Samsung Chromebook Pro to my friends and family if they are considering a chromebook for both chrome OS and Android applications.

I had a Galaxy Note Pro but could no longer update my apps. I love having a tablet but needed to be able to do some other items on a computer. This is the best of both worlds. Its light weight so I can take it anywhere. I'm still able to use my apps too.

Too soon yet for complete evaluation, but great Chromebook so far.
The 64GB version is a BB exclusive; I bought it on clearance. The price/performance at Best Buy cannot be beat.
If you want a high end Chromebook, get this one before they are gone.

Battery life is decent, but it doesn't accept a charge while in use. It's necessary to close up when the battery is recharging and continue working later. It's nicely featured and fits in my bigger purse.
