The ring grew on me

I hoped the ring could work as one (it dosent). The case has been on my phone for months now, there is a crack, and a piece fell off next to the screen, but the phone is in pristine confition under this case. Keys have scratched the plastic, but my phone is flawless. the piece of mind in not worrying about what I have in my pocket with my flip was worth the price of this case. I often pull the phone out of my pocket using the ring, I also fidget with it on occasion. glad I went with the ring version... even though I still wish it was a kickstand.

Also, I dropped my phone several times but it didn't break so the case is somewhat protective. I love the ring part because I can just stick in my finger to carry it when my hands are full.

Great case for the Flip4

I jave dropped my phone a few times while using this case and no damage to the device itself. The grip ring is convenient and a great compliment to the device. However the ring is a bit tricky to get lined up with the case.
