I had an old Samsung S7 and this Galaxy A53 doesn't even come close. The areas that need serious working on is the camera and video department. The speed is seriously lacking and the quality of videos are not the best. The battery life is very good though, but it is a very basic phone and not much of anything else.

I got the Samsung A53 to replace my 10 plus old Galaxy 8. It is an excellent value for the money. Ithas the features I want without the 4K video features that I will never use.

What a crappy phone, and I use the middle school terminology instead of the adult word that starts with an sh!++¥. Why you ask, okay let me paint you a scenario. You're at the gym on Spotify playing your favorite tunes, you just got off the treadmill and you head to the sauna room. Now mind you. You have an otterbox on the phone. Well as you go in for a 20 minute meditation routine, that includes a quick picture of your meditation, you also want to post it on social media. Now I'm assuming we're all here because we love androids and it's tech capabilities and we know how to multitask all these functions that I've mentioned above in less then a minute. Are you still with me? Great so as I'm performing set task, your music starts lagging, your social media isn't uploading, and certainly the picture you are trying to take isn't responding. So if it's the ram or the processor, it's all garbage. I'm trying to multitask. All I can say is, from the Solution engineer, to the technical architect, all the way down to the developer and QA. PLEASE DO BETTER!! Sincerely an avid fan of tech and androids.
