Fit my needs and budget
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was happy with this phone so far. It's a bit of a downgrade from my aging Galaxy s model but to be honest I didn't see much of a difference between this one and the flagships. The phone quality is as good as the S models. It does have a plastic back but if you are going to use a case it's no big deal. The processor speed fits my needs. If you are a big gamer or social media user you may need to charge your phone more often. But for me even on my heavy Social media usage days I still have enough battery life to get me through the day. Overall the phone fit my needs. The cameras work well and take clear photos. The call quality is clear and I haven't had any dropped calls. I liked the option for the expandable storage as well. I will not that the phone does not include a SIM card or a charging block. Set up on my current cell provider was a breeze so I haven't had any real issues as of yet.

Nice mid-range phone
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice mid-range phone. Optical fingerprint sensor works even under glass screen protector. Great Sub-6 5G band coverage including 6Ghz 5G bands (C-band). Good camera. Good audio. Wifi calling capable depending on your carrier. Super Fast 25W charging (charger sold separately). Battery lasts a day and a half to two days, depending on what apps are running in the background. Many more bells and whistles than my old Moto G6 Play. It's a steal when on sale but maybe not at MSRP.

Great phone for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using this phone for about a week now. Switched from a Pixel 5a. The camera isnt as good as the Pixel 5a in some areas but over all I am happy with it. NFC for Samsung and Google Pay, nice screen, 5G. No wireless charging or headphone jack but that is the norm in the sub $500 phones. I would recommend it.

Samsung
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this phone and im still using it til this day! Still fast, still realiable, Ive dropped it I dont know how many times and have never gotten a broken screen or scratch. I also use an Otterbox case and glass protector so that helps. Im always weary of getting a new phone because I have to learn everything all over again but this phone was easy-peasy !

Almost perfect phone for the value.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing has absolutely incredible battery life. I can go two whole days using this phone normally before it needs to be charged. Camera quality rivals my old S9 plus, and even beats it in terms of resolution / overall image clarity. The 120Hz oled display looks great, i personally prefer locking it to 60Hz for better battery life. The plastic back is great and is easier to grip compared to a more slippery glass back, and is also less prone to cracking. The SD card port is greatly appreciated and one of the main factors that sold me on this phone. My only complaints is the lack of an included charger and built in headphone jack, would have gladly paid more for the phone if necessary. Not a huge fan of buying seperate products to regain features that came with older phones by default.

Worth the money
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.easy to use, large storage. I like the update that makes it to where the battery is full so it stops taking a charge sparing the battery.

Samsung Galaxy A53 - Excellent Mid-range Phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone two years ago and it's still working amazingly well. It's been dropped, memory (internal and external) filled almost to capacity and is still working like a charm! (Yes, I did rid the phone of tons of unnecessary things that I added just to test the memory & phone.) It's a great size, has a great display, and the camera has tons of options and takes amazing photos. Not many phones will allow you to add a microSD card anymore, but this phone does. It's a great way to store all of your photos! There are so many ways you can customize things in this phone. I am really happy with this purchase. It's going to be hard to beat should I start looking for another phone.

Good Phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this phone a year ago and it's been a good, solid phone. I liked that I could keep using my SD card to store pictures & videos and the phone itself had good storage space for apps. The camera is so-so, a step-down from the S21 I was using before, but the pictures and video are still decent. I continue to be annoyed that phones have phased out AUX ports but have had no trouble with Bluetooth. The phone is a good size for the things I enjoy doing (reading books) and despite multiple drops (some face-first onto cement or gravel, I am A Klutz) the screen is intact. However, a year in, and I'm starting to notice some issues. The phone isn't charging well anymore. It requires being plugged in to charge, so I can't use a wireless charger for it. The charging cord itself is not the issue, as it will not charge on one cable, only to charge just fine on it after being unplugged and plugged back in. It is occasionally slow to respond. The phone complains of moisture at the charging port during humid weather, IDK if that's a sensitivity issue or not, as it did not complain about that last summer but has had several complaints about it this year. All in all, I have been pleased with the phone, but I am annoyed that only a year out I'm thinking of getting a replacement.

The phone has met my needs.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After some difficulty with a particular carrier, I decided to get a phone which was unlocked. The purchase was simple and the phone was easy to connect through the carrier of my choice. The phone has been in use almost three years now and still works well. The only issue is that the data connection is sometimes lost when trying to make an in-app purchase while in 5g mode; but is stable in 4g mode. My next phone will probably also be a mid-range Samsung; definitely unlocked.

Samsung A53
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Samsung A50 that literally couldn't find it's card. It started with rapid battery decline and if your own starts that then either replace the card or upgrade to A53 which is 5g and it is fast. The A53 is a good middle of the road cell, it takes nice picks and it is a really good cell for those who don't live on their cell. So, if you like the A50 series, you will love the A53. It's a little longer so get a new cover for it.
