My issue is that it's so new I can't find a case! My first Samsung and I really like it.

The only issue this smartphone has is the fingerprint sensor, it's been 2 months since I got it and it is already down. I'm not the only one having this trouble, and the only solution I've found is a complete restart.

Son had iPhone. Switched to Samsung and says it much better than iPhone.

My son love this phone and like the design very much.

I've been waiting for a smaller android phone with good specs...this is it. We have the Alpha, an S4, an S5, and an HTC One...the Alpha is by far my favorite. Super small and light. Same internals as the S5, so speed is amazing. Build quality is excellent and feels far superior to anything else Samsung has built in the past...definitely get this phone.

The looks are what made me give this phone a second glance. The Galaxy Alpha and HTC One are the best looking phones out right now. I was tired though of phones getting bigger every year. This phone seems to be the perfect size for me, I have not found one thing wrong with this phone. Very fast with all my apps, videos, and games. The display is outstanding (even in the sun). Call quality is excellent, even in a small town in the middle of no where. Camera is great, video recording is even better. I was worried about the battery being so small, but I have plenty of battery left at the end of the day. The only thing I would complain about is the amount of usless apps that it comes with out of the box, but they can always be turned off.

Just got this phone about a day or two ago and just absolutely love it!. I went from a bigger phone the Note 3 to this just to try it out and it is amazing. The battery life is superb is the colors are amazing. The build is high quality and feels great in the hand. Definitely would recommend this phone to anyone. Just great!

I set, reset and reset alarm tones and they do not stay.

I havent gotten the chance to use any other Samsung Galaxy phone except this one. After using an iPhone 5 for a year and a half and dealing with the problem that phone brought, I thought this phone would be a nice upgrade. Not even 5 months after getting this phone it starts making a clicking or a tapping sound periodically. Sometimes it only lasts a few second. Sometime I have to turn my phone off to get it to stop. It's not a ringtone or a sound effect. It actually just made the sound as I was typing this out. It's not the sound of the keys when I type. The camera is a bit odd too. I cannot take a photo without it turning out blurry unless I have flash on. The auto focus does not work correctly. Other than the sound and camera, it's an ok phone. Nice internet speed on data and WiFi. Easy to navigate.

I never had a Samsung phone, I got one an S4 before but returned it after few days. However, this alpha model is different to the feel and I really like it. The features are awesome. The camera is somewhat on a warmth tone but not bad. Shooting at night is difficult, too much noise on the pictures and when you use flash, it is too bright. Video quality is good.

I purchased this phone 2 weeks ago at Best Buy. From day one the phone had GPS issues. I use the GPS every day and was CONSTANTLY hearing "GPS Signal Lost". Was late for MULTIPLE business appointments...arriving angry and frazzled due to the malfunctioning GPS on the Galaxy Alpha. Searched internet forums and found this to be a widespread issue on MANY samsung phones. (Google the issue and see for yourself). My friend is having the exact same issue on his Galaxy Note 4. I am returning this horrible phone and re-activating my FIVE YEAR OLD iPhone 4 that still works flawlessly until I can afford an iPhone 6 off contract.

I purchased this phone after reading positive reviews, I chose it for its comfortable size and advertised battery life, which were my priorities. After five months of use the battery life is much shorter than at the beginning, and I am a light user and don't have many apps. The camera never worked properly until I got in touch with customer service and they walked me through some troubleshooting. It works a little better now but it's very slow and it's really difficult to take clear photos of checks to do online bank deposit. The phone is very slow to access any app. When I use the stock browser the internet stops many times a day, a message appears that says "unfortunately the internet stopped". Extremely frustrating, it takes about 1 or 2 minutes to reload the page. A few times it makes an electronic noise for a few seconds that resembles an insect zapper. I have to hit the home button to stop it.
