Quite, good life battery works smoothly. haven't tried yet the tablet mode but so far so good.

This is a nice laptop, small and light. the specs are good and the price is reasonable but this laptop came out of the box with zero battery charge. I did a full charge and got 3 hours before it died. I did a full battery calibration, then a full charge and got almost 4 hours. Granted, I was setting up my profile and syncing lots of data, but it still dies under 5 hours after the machine reached steady state. With a full charge, 20 minutes of just idle sitting will chew up 15% of the battery.... I don't know if I just got a lemon of a battery or not, but this laptop is going back. FYI, the speakers sound cheap and tinny.

Pros: Strong processors very fast, responsive touch pad and full keyboard with internal lighting Cons: Touch screen as not responsive as others laptops like samsung galaxy laptop, and camera has terrible resolution my smart phone 10 years ago had a better camera than this, but I cared more about the processing and the speed of the laptop

Excellent laptop. It’s super thin, really fast, the camera is much better than my last laptop for video calls too. I was a little worried since it has a fan that it would kick on but it rarely kicks on for what I use it for and when it does it’s not very loud. The fingerprint sensor is also very convenient. I got it during the black friday pricing and this was by far the best deal for the specs.

My wife was having issues doing WebX on her chromebook hardwired and needed something more powerful. After looking around I decided on this Samsung. She says it works much better than the chromebook and can video conference on all services over WiFi with out issues. Besides the networking you have a powerful processor and plenty of on board storage in our cloud based lifestyles.

I bought this machine mainly due to the advertised battery life. Let me just say that it is a complete lie. It stated it can get up to 18.5 hours, which I have no idea how they tested it. Was the laptop doing anything? More realistic time is around 5-7 hours depending on what you are doing. I have been averaging around 4 hours and that was just browsing the net. I exchanged this machine for a ryzen based machine thinking it would give me better battery life and it def. doesn't. I compared it to the Ryzen 5 4500U and this i7 really can't keep up performance wise. I ran a few benchmarks and in every single test, ranging from cinebench to heaven benchmark, the ryzen 5 was on average about 10% faster. AND it has better battery life. One other thing I noticed is that this machine has a tendency to run a bit hot. You can feel it on the keyboard and the left side of the machine all together, which makes it uncomfortable to type on. Needless to say, I will be returning this machine and going back to the Ryzen based system I had.
