I got the 12th gen i7-1255U with 16 gb ram. It is best purchase i have made as a student. It is so lightweight, small and fast. It is not made to play games but you can still run cs source and condition zero at highest fps. I mainly use it for school work like assignment and coding stuff.

Great little device and very light. Love that it is thin and so elegant. The only con is that it overheats sometimes.

Great laptop! Could use a bit better battery life, but as an occasional casual laptop for shopping/light work projects and casual or indie Steam gaming, it’s really good. I’m surprised how fast this boots up even from a cold start, open the laptop and within seconds you’re at the login screen, and fingerprint reader is very fast. The touch screen is very responsive I just wish the Touch Bar was bigger. If you’re looking for a MacBook Air level laptop but don’t want a Microsoft surface… this is for you. Also the Samsung Galaxy features are a bonus.

I like the design. Very sleek, light, and definitely portable. I like working with it wherever I sit around the house! Downside, it takes time to read fingerprint in opening the computer and always work with clean hands or prints will be all over its surface.

Great laptop, its very fast for everyday tasks. The screen is beautiful, bright, and the colors are amazing. The only complaint is the loud, high pitched fan noises. But plop on some headphones and you're good to go.

Great computer. I run my DAW (Reaper) with 40+ plugins on 18 tracks and record my band’s practices with it and it performs great. Can’t run low latency like this but we are playing live with direct monitoring. It also looks great, and the touch screen is a nice feature. I find myself grabbing this more than my M1 MacBook Pro lately. Only downsides from the Mac is that it runs hotter, fan kicks on way more (but it’s pretty quiet), the battery life isn’t as good, and the track pad is a little smaller. But, it’s thinner, lighter, and smaller (front to back) then the MBP and that I like. I got it on sale for half of what I paid for my Mac on sale, so also a great deal. Highly recommend.

This Samsung Galaxy Book 2 is an incredible value for the money. I'm absolutely delighted with my purchase . The specifications of this computer outshine those of its counterparts in the same price range. It has proven to be a reliable workhorse for all my demanding tasks and hasn't struggled with overheating issues, and I help facilitate this by placing it on a stand for better air circulation underneath the device.

The package was perfectly protected and so far it’s been fast, I mainly use Microsoft as I bought it for a certification I’m currently working on. The touch screen works perfectly, the battery life is around 4 hours and it takes 1 hour or so to charge. It’s light so you can take it anywhere! The only downside is that your fingertips will stay on the laptop no matter what you do as you can see in my picture

I have been using a Samsung Notebook 9 Pro 13 pretty much every day since 07/2018 – and it has never given me any issues. So, when this popped up, I was very excited to try it out. It does not dis-appoint with a slightly smaller size but similar layout as the 9 Pro - so migrating over for me was easy. It is a very well-constructed 2 in 1 with silver aluminum clam “case” and sturdy hinges. If you want a very sleek, light weight unit that will travel nicely and do business apps as well as video watching this is worth a look and would recommend. I don’t do much gaming anymore so I can’t speak directly to how it might work – but given it is using Intel Iris Xe Graphics and with a 3D Mark overall score of 5730 with graphics coming in at 1 109 it would seem to indicate it is not for intensive gaming. This unit has the following specs; 13.3-inch 1920 x 1080P OLED sAMOLED touchscreen monitor with pen support using Intel Iris Xe Graphics with HDR available. Intel 12th generation i7-1255U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads operating at 170GHz with Turbo Boost of 4.70 GHz. 16GB LPDDR4X memory – could not find number of slots. Samsung MZVLQ512HBLU-00B 512 GB NVMe hard drive with PCIe 3.0 interface Intel 6E (802.11ax) AX211AC 160MHz Wireless and Bluetooth. No ethernet hardwire option Speakers 2 x 2 watts Dolby Atmos 1 USB 3.2 connection 1 USB-C connection with 65w power connection 1 Thunderbird 4 connection. This also seems to charge laptop too. 1 HDMI out – could not find version but when connected to my 4K monitor and 4K TV both showed 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz. 1 micro SD card reader Finger print reader. 65w wall charger with 5 ft USB-C cable. 720P camera Universal microphone/audio jack Windows 11 home 4 cell Lithium-ion battery – rated at 18 hours use. Exact dimensions are 0.51 height, 7.95 width, 12 depth at 2.62 lbs. Positives; It was nicely packaged and easy to setup. Plug it in, start it up and Windows walks you thru the setup process. I did all the setup/updates with laptop on my lap and it got pretty hot. But in normal day to day use it has been fine. Finger Print was easy to setup And is a nice security addition over my Pro 9. But it is in upper right corner where I am used to having delete function – so I must be careful. Nice that power button got moved to keyboard area as it was on the side of Pro 9 where I was always accidentally turning it on/off. It is very nice looking with the brushed aluminum case. Heavy duty hinges to allow for tenting, tablet, etc. modes. Screen is almost edgeless except that Samsung is still using the 16:9 screen ratio which leaves a rather large area at bottom of screen that could be used for display. The keyboard keys have nice tactile feel. Having backlit keyboard is great for low light usage. Due to small size there some keys have dual functions so that the function key has to be used for one ort the other. Again, I was used to this having Pro 9. No real “bloat” software to get rid of – mostly Samsung apps. Boots fast – but I disable anything not necessary during startup. Do yourself a favor and check that out as I think you will be amazed at how many apps are there at startup that don’t need to be. With i7 processor and 16GB of memory it is fast. Multitasking is no problem with Apps opening quickly. I have been using Windows 11 on my other computers for months so no learning curve there. 1080P screen resolution/color is fantastic and a nice jump from my Pro 9. The colors just pop – even my wife commented on it. Nice viewing angle, but screen is a tad “shiny/reflective”. As I mentioned above it will display 4K if connected to a 4K monitor/TV. I have a TP-Link AX mesh wifi and using speedtest.net laptop connected with upload and download speeds just as fast as my hard-wired computer. Touchscreen works well Using performance power plan, I looped a movie and received a little over 7 hours use before 20% low battery settings kicked in. I had Wifi on but Bluetooth off. The speakers at 2 x 2 watts are rated the same as my old Pro 9 but they sound so much better and more powerful. The sound seems to surround you too. Pleasantly surprised. The USB ports are fast – especially if you have an external NVMe drive. For my tests I used a 500GB NVMe 3.0 drive I had left over from a different laptop storage upgrade. Being able to charge using USB C is great. It makes charging more “universal” and gets rid of the big inline power bricks as well as different sized plugs for the laptop power connection. I have 4 laptops that I can now charge with single USB c power source and cord - as well as my phone! For those looking for extra security you can turn on bitlocker to encrypt your hard drive. I did turn this on but be sure to save the key or sign in using your MS login so MS will store it for you. I would also mention that I upgraded my old Pro 9 250GB drive to a 1TB drive and it was relatively easy to do. Since this laptop looks to be built the same way I anticipate a similarly easy upgrade if/when I want to. 1-year mail in warranty Nit-picky negatives; Screen ratio leaves area at bottom of screen unused. Packaging was minimal which was nice but there was no manual. I went to Samsun site and couldn’t find an English manual to download for this model. I also have tried every day for over a week to register the laptop on Samsung’s site and it does not recognize the serial or model numbers. May be due to laptop newness but still irritating. Gaming is limited due to Intel Iris Xe Graphics – which is fine for me but wanted to mention. It also has it rated as such at Best Buy page under laptop information. No pen included – but I had 1 from my Pro 9 and it worked fine. No place to store it anyway and honestly, I seldom use it. The keyboard is not full size due to 13.3 size. As such some keys have dual functions controlled by the Fn (function key). Not a big deal but want to mention as it takes a little getting used to especially if you only have used full-size desktop keyboards. Personally, I really like this size, as this is my 4rd laptop at around 13”. You can’t beat using it on a plane. And a nice size to sit on your lap with. It got a little hot sitting on my lap during setup or when I’m doing some intensive processing. Overall, it’s a nice step up from my Pro 9 and it is now my favorite laptop and look forward to years of use. And at just over 2.6 lbs it is easy to haul around….
