Looking at the specs and some details, these look phenomenal. I wanted to love them. THE GOOD ~ Light ~ Look good ~ Easily paired with Samsung S10e ~ Noise cancelling ~ Good bass ~ Decent music overall ~ Comfortable fit ~ Call quality very good THE BAD ~ Before you can get them fully functional, you have to give Samsung access to everything including the box your phone came in (exaggerating, but not much) ~ Have to download software, set it up and give access to Samsung just to use the touch pads for volume ~ Noise distortion in some songs when loud--like a quiet static in the background during certain parts or notes played together ~ Too easy to accidentally pause or change tunes THE MEH (Could go either way) ~ USB-C charger. This is a big plus for me. I don't understand any company still using micro-USB ~ Wireless charging with included case (I like this too) OVERALL Overall, I like these, I just don't LOVE them. For audiophiles, I think, probably, the most important thing of all I wrote above is about the distortion. It may just be the set I have. I listen to a lot of different types of music. I listened to Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyrie" with these. It sounded amazing. I listened to some other more soft rock/pop type songs and the quality was very high. Listening to rap and hip hop was where the distortion came in. The bass was great, it was just some of those mid range notes and voices had a slight raspy quality on the edges. This is definitely more pronounced when the volume is up. The noise cancelling was great. Once in the gym with the music on, I couldn't hear anything else. I've had other ear buds where I have the music all the way up and can hear the two moms on the treadmills next to me talking about little Johnny vomiting. It was nice to be able to--as the song says--get lost in the rock-n-roll and drift away. Test calls went very well. Participants said the sound quality was tremendously better than normal (using the phone mic). These didn't come with extra rubber pads. Fortunately, the ones already on the buds fit my ears well. I had no problem jogging, running, or working out with them. Every now and then, I reached up to touch one for a micro-adjustment and ended up stopping the music. This was a disappointment, because if you want to push them in a little further or just brush them, the touch pads will hit pause for you. These also didn't come with any instructions, so I had to go to the Samsung website and download instructions just to figure out how to raise and lower the volume. (Yeah, I'm a guy and thought, "who needs instructions?" I did, because I had to go into Samsung Wearable App on the phone and select to use the pads for volume). Would I recommend these to a friend? I am selecting yes, but I want to add the caveat here that, yes, I would recommend them to the "right" friends. For someone on a strict budget or who listens to a lot of hip hop or rap (with the volume up high), I would probably pass. I also wouldn't recommend them to my parents who would probably get lost on using the controls. These are geared more for the younger, tech-minded crowd who listens to Julia Michaels and Maroon 5. The missing star is for a combination of the distortion, the ease of accidentally pausing or changing a song, and required permissions

These are really great earbuds. In my opinion, they are better than the galaxy buds live as they can fit in everyone's ears. The reason that I didn't give 5 stars is because of the ear tips. For this price point, I feel that Samsung should have included some memory foam ear tips. It is a small upgrade that costs less than $20 for 6 pairs of memory foam ear tips. You need size 4.9mm for them to fit but they improve the noise blockage and retention while keeping the same or better comfort in my case.

They are great except I can never get them to stay in my ear perfectly and everytime I push them back in I run the chance of hanging up on whom ever I am on the phone with. But other then that minor issue I enjoy them.

I purchased the galaxy ear buds pro on November 21st Brand new out of the box. I put the right ear in and felt like it was snugged and secured in my ear. While crossing the street the ear bud fell completely out of my ear into the drain in the street. There was no sudden movement or anything. WHAT A WASTE OF MY MONEY. 1 DAY OF USAGE, NOW IM MISSING MY RIGHT EAR BUD. These ear buds should be a little more secure. I guess I will throw these in the drawer and go back to my beats pro that never came out of my ear. Im a android lover with a Samsung phone so I thought I would give the Samsung ear buds a try. Now it's just a waste of my money!!!!

Im a Samsung Stan, so I love everything them basically. But these are amazing. Great sound, love the ambiance and noise cancelation features. The battery life leaves a lot to be desired, but I also understand that sometimes comes with the territory for features. Overall no complaints, work as needed.

The galaxy bud pros are amazing. Worth the money. They do so much without you ever knowing. From the sound dampering when someone talks to you. To the excellent sound, samsung made a banger this time. Would highly recommend!!!

Perfect accessory for a Galaxy device

I happen to have a newer Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and these buds work better than advertised when paired with a new Galaxy device. Connecting the buds couldn't be easier. As soon as I opened up the case, a pop-up displayed on my phone screen allowing me to connect to them. Without doing anything else, I was already using these buds. But then I opened up Samsung's Galaxy Wearable app, which was already installed on my Note20. This app is basically a must if you have these buds. Within the app you can control all the settings, volume, ANC, ambient sound, touch controls, etc. This is especially helpful at first when you're still trying to learn the touch controls. While the touch controls can be customized, it still takes some practice to learn as with most earbuds nowadays. Sometimes though, I don't want touch controls. Sometimes I know I might accidentally touch them or have to take them in and out, or adjust them. Times like this can be frustrating as you do something you didn't mean to do. But the app comes to the rescue here, and lets you turn off the touch controls. As for sound, they're on par with most premium ear buds. The sound is high quality and you can always adjust the levels with the equalizer in the app to suit your preference. The low frequencies come out sounding great and the higher sounds come out clear. Then there's fit and comfort. You get 2 extra sizes of tips with these so you can choose the ones that best fit your ear. They go in smooth and just take a little twisting to get just right. Once you're there though, they're extremely light and feel very natural. However, after some time walking and moving around, one of the buds did fall out on me. I had the medium tips on at the time which were the best compromise between fit and comfort for me. While the larger tips may have held them in better, they were too large for me and not comfortable at all. So far it's only happened the one time, but it's something at the back of my mind anytime I have to move around while wearing them We also need to talk about a couple of the features. Both Active Noise Cancelling and the Ambient sound which lets you hear the "outside", work very well and may be the best I've experienced in an earbud. The main reason I say this, is because with these features activated, you don't hear a lot of that "static" sound you get with other earbuds. With ANC, the sound of music or whatever you're listening to is clean and you can hardly hear the white noise created for the effect. And with Ambient sound, you just hear what you should hear, and not just amplified static. Overall, these are some of the best earbuds on the market in my opinion. Are they so much better that they're worth the premium price though? On their own I would have to say no. When paired with a new Samsung device like a Note20 or the new S21, then these really stand out above the crowd. The Galaxy Wearable app on these devices combined with these earbuds just works so well together, that it's hard to recommend any other earbud if you have a Samsung device.
