I have owned many different brands and sizes of tablets over the past 2-3 years and the Note 8.0 is by far the best one I have bought. I have to say I like the Android Ecosystem a lot better than the iOS Ecosystem mainly because I don't have to use iTunes to do everything. I can plug the USB cable into my laptop and drag and drop my music, photos or videos right into the device. I can add more storage by adding a microSD card. I can put my music, pictures or videos on the microSD card instead of putting them directly on the device. I can install apps from app stores like Google Play or Amazon. I have the FREEDOM to do basically anything I want to the device.

Its not to big or to small just right. Awesome picture quality, great for video chat and great for anything. My kids can use it easliy and has all the features you will need.

Best 8 in tab on market for drawing and taking notes. Versatile and handy. Great for traveling.

I was torn between this tablet and the Mini Ipad, my parents having a full size Ipad I wasn't too fond of the size because it was not too comfortable to hold for long periods. So I really wanted a smaller tablet that was more ergonomic friendly for me. This was by far the best choice! I'm not forced to use itunes when I connect it to my pc and have to sync it to one computer solely. It's performance is awesome! Very smooth and the UI is fast and fluid! I would recommend this to anyone!

It is a GREAT TAB , i recently bought the surface pro And is a GREAT TAB as well but size and weight was my most concerned with It. I will keep It as a home computer . Goin back to note 8 i dont have any bad review for it il recomended to evryone . If u want good things u need to pay for them. MY GOD IS GOOD!!!!!!

This is my first tablet and so far I am loving this one. The s-pen feature is great. It is faster then I expected for a tablet and I can do more on it then I imagined.

This is a great tablet if you need a functional stylus. If you do not need it or don''t think you will use it, the Tab 3 8" may be a better and cheaper option. Aside from the stylus, they are pretty much identical.

This is a nice tablet. I've been searching for tablet with Miracast capability and works great. I've been wanting a tablet that I can use to display powerpoint and other documents for presentation. I'd recommend Netgear 3000 as have not been able to get Samsung Dongle to work. Screen resolution could be better for movies. Internal memory of 16GB over half used to programs you can't remove and recovery. I've only been able to download 4 movies max via Google Play though have others on micro SD, which is nice option.

I went to buy a tab 7 and saw this, having a galaxy note 1 phone I was excited. For me... I think a 7 tab would have been enough screen is nice sound is nice, the new android is nice. When I plug in headphones I get a new window thats simple. Got this for bedtime reading and surfing and to mount in truck to watch videos dont play games..... dont use s pen features dont multiwindow either, all in all 400 bucks for an oversized phone that cant text or call on or 4g get the tab 7 if ur like me.

The screen is a great size (for me) and the overall weight of the device is very nice. But I can afford to spend 400 on a toy that overlaps other devices own; few can. I was very disappointed to learn that I'd need to root the device and start hacking some of the system scripts to be able to use an sd card to store programs on. For a device to cost this much, and have this little onboard storage, and to not allow that storage to be expanded is absurd.

I would recommend the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. It is user friendly, responsive, and excellent quality for the price!

Just the right size for use as a tablet...not too heavy!

Higher priced due to Note/pen feature, but great overall. What I am annoyed about is inability to get $25 app credit from Samsung stores offered at time of purchase. Two e-mails and no replies yet. Hope I don't have trouble with it.

I liked it, is really useful. I will prefer this tablet to all my friends and family

I purchased this as a graduation gift to myself in hopes of it being useful for college. Thus far I have greatly enjoyed the capabilities of this product in web use, games and I am no artist but I can tell that the note capability will be of great use to me in college.

Definitely one of the best tablets in the market. Word of advice, do your research before purchasing.

Bought this few days ago because Ipad broke. I have to say I love this tablet more than the Ipad.

This is an amazing, easy to use tablet that sports android apps. Very good response and ability to multi task apps.

First off, the NOTE 8 is a tablet that I have been waiting on and it disappoints me that I may very well return it on the grounds of the lacking display tech. I can take the lower resolution bc the PPI makes up for the non-HD screen. What is unacceptable for me is the amount of LCD light leak coming in around the bezel. It is distracting in the dark on an all black screen (ie viewing movies or Hulu). I feel this product was rushed and the omission of a quality display kinda breaks the deal for me.
