I just received my new tablet a couple of days ago, so I haven't had a chance to truly get used to it. However, during the very simple set up procedures, it synced with my Samsung S4 Active account and copied all of the information over to it, including all of my downloaded apps. What a great feature! My first impressions: 1) The screen on this tablet is awesome! It's big, bold and bright. 2) After reading about how heavy this unit was I was pleasantly surprised at how light and thin it actually was. I can see how comparing it to a regular tablet might make it seem to be heavy, but it wasn't. Even if it was, what else would expect from a 12.2" screen? 3) Overall, it still seemed lighter to me than my wife's full sized iPad. I was very surprised at how long the battery lasted. I had the screen set to max brightness, watched videos and surfed the web for several hours and it still registered over 70% life left. Impressive. 4) I liked having the home and back buttons at the bottom when held in a landscape configuration. They were easy to use and came in handy. 5) There is not true user manual that comes with it, but it’s very easy to figure out. Anything I wasn’t sure of, I just used the Google speech to search to find the answer. 6) I like the volume buttons on top of the unit. Very handy. 7) I wasn’t too sure of the “Windows 8” look; however I was happy to find a button at the bottom that took me straight to my apps. You can also swipe from the right side of the screen for an easy menu. Some things I wish it had: 1) I wish it had come with more on board memory. For this price and size, I’m surprised it maxed out at 64MB. I know I can add an SD card, but felt this unit should have had more from the start. 2) Why didn’t the wireless version come with the faster processer like the LTE version? It may make sense to the company, but not to me as an end user. 3) I wish the S Pen would have been a little larger. 4) A lower price. This was an expensive unit. I felt the price should have been $100 less, but I was glad to see it was a lot cheaper than in the UK at least. Also, my Reward Zone gift certificates helped pay for it. The only issue I had so far was a damaged first unit. Yes, after waiting for over a month of it being on back order (after a pre-order wait), I finally received my new Notebook Pro 12.2 and found it to be dented on the back of the case. It had a slight indent as well as a bulge. However, thanks to Best Buy's awesome customer service, I had a brand new one the very next day at no extra charge for expedited shipping. I couldn't have asked for more! Overall, I’m very happy with this unit so far and look forward to having it when I travel. It will take me a while to unlock all of its potential, but that’s not a fault of the product, just a lack of free time on my part. I think you would be very pleased if you purchased one for yourself.

We've tried several tablets along with the new ASUS notebook and the I pad Air. None of them compared with the SAMSUNG pro 12.2 white tablet. The price for all the specs compared to the competition, screen size with the side by side windows capability, graphics, speed, 64GB memory, and ease of use all put this at the top making this the final keeper. It is easy to find help when learning to use the system. Picked up the ZAGG keyboard/case which is a nice accessory and very secure when closed up. Put together they also look good. Disappointed it costs so much more to get the white color and that it wasn't easy to locate the white at a competitive price. Gave the Features 4 of 5 because of the HOME and other 2 keys at the Ottoman instead of the right. Due to the size can't hold the tab, let on the left side, usually have it in my lap or on a table. These 3 buttons would be easier on the right. I keep hitting them by accident due to location. This is minor irritant to the overall satisfaction of the product. It's a great value for the money and the best buy compared to the price of the completion with the same specs.

Great screen size, resolution, dimensions, weight.... A thin and light tablet which is much to easy to spend most my time playing games than being productive. Love the large screen size for typing and the vibrating tactile response when hitting the "keys" but text window does sometimes obscure the screen when typing. Love the fau leather back - looks nice and provides a solid non-slip surface for holding the tablet. Love that there is a good border around the screen so can hold just right without obscuring screen or accidently depressing something on the screen. Great for surfing the web, checking email, and scheduling with the calendar. Just 3 major things I would change with regards to the tablet: 1) Would prefer that tablet ran MS Office - would make using it for business much easier and for home. The hassle of converting files and/or keeping file versions just on tablet is not ideal and severely compromises the Samsung when comparing it to Microsoft's tablet. 2) Would prefer that pen was spring loaded, easier to pull out, and thicker. 3) Longer battery life. Get the Belkin tablet cover - good quality construction and function. Good functional design and works great with the tablet; including automatic on/off when opening or closing cover.

I purchased this tablet to replace my laptop. I am so glad I chose it over the other tablets. The screen is so clear and colors pop. I feel like my productivity has improved as well. The stylus feels as if you are using pen and paper when jotting down. Otes. It takes great pictures too. It is so much more portable than my bulky laptop. I also purchased the key board and mouse. This makes it feel as if you are on a computer. Best purchase I have ever made.

I've had this for a couple of months now and I really like the larger screen and multitasking. The pen is also very useful for working on projects and sketches. Battery life so far has been satisfactory, and lasts me about two days. I'd recommend this if you're looking for a tablet.

This is an upgrade from a Samsung Nexus 10 (Moto Xoom before that) This tablet has an amazing razor sharp & bright screen. The quad core processor is also amazingly fast, big difference from the Nexus 10. Having a Micro SD Slot is another plus, besides the on board 64GB, I put an additional 64GB in the tablet. I will eventually buy the new San Disk 128GB Micro SD. If you own a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, you will love the Note Pro 12.2 with its S Pen, fast processor, massive battery and beautiful screen. If you are already using Flipboard, you will love the home screen.

Being able to go to Best Buy an ask a question at Samsung counter is an enjoyable experience. To have knowledgeable people explain, show me how to do what I want to do, without hesitation is a new experience for me. I am the owner of 4 Samsung devices as a result of my experience of this amazing customer service. My wife is giving away her iPad air to a grandson. We started with 2 Samsung S5 phones and discovered the customer service was wonderful. All 4 of our devices synced together. We have 2 Samsung tablets a 10 in. and this wonderful Samsung tablet 12.2. All 4 of our devices synced together and working beautifully. When I discover new uses for the tablet or phone the customer service counter helps me when I get stuck. How could I say more other than as someone with severe memory problems I love that I can verbally make memos like grocery lists with amazing accuracy of talk and it will type. That I can set an appointment on my calendar with notification reminders. Have the four devics synced together. my calendar appointments shows up on my wifes phone and 10 inch tablet, so she can remind me. When she does something on her calendar it shows up on my phone and tablet. my wife also has discovered Facebook and how many family members are posting photos. She's on it daily. Something a woman of 64 never thought she would do. I listen to audible books, and music on Pandora on my phone or Bluetooth through my car radio . Google Map guides me to where I want to go with hands free verbal instructions GPS. I've become dependent on the verbal directions to keep me from getting lost, literally. I could spend an hour more telling you how much I love my samsung experience and the Samsung counter that Best Buy provides. Employees that have the patience and courtesy to deal with a person with disabilities. Best Buys new policy of matching Amazon prices has me buying exclusively at Best Buy. I have found Best Buy 5 star experience. My best buy purchase of my 12.2 tablet is one of the joys in my life. 5 stars does not explain it - it's so much more than that the ability for it to type for me, with my disability this gives me the ability to communicate like I've never been able to before, to text, to send emails, to make notes / memos for myself like I've never been able to before. It brings tears to my eyes how much difference this has made in my life. Signed Michael 57 and Wife age 64 feels the same.   

I love this tablet! I love being able to SEE! It does not feel like the monstrosity some describe-- it's not 'light,' but any concerns with weight disappear with its ease of use and performance. My only complaint is that because of it's odd size, accessories are limited. If you have the opportunity to splurge on the Note Pro 12.2, don't hesitate!

I own an iPad Air but got the NotePro for my parents to try for their business. The larger screen makes this a better laptop replacement than an iPad as long as the apps you need/want are available for Android. The screen is large and much higher resolution than previous large screen Notes. You can also create multiple users, which the iPad still does not do and is very convenient if it is device that multiple people will share. The stylus is also a useful feature if that is something that appeals to you, but I rarely feel the need for it when casually browsing the web. The only reason I wouldn't highly recommend the NotePro 12" to others was if they already had a number of Apple devices at home, or if they wanted something more compact.

I was so happy with my new tablet till I discovered that the SD card reader was not working. It would recognize the card and that it had data on the card, however it would not read the data.. Not happy about that. So I took it back to Best Buy where I purchased it. After some diagnostics and about an hr., they warrantied it and I am as of this writing waiting for the replacement. Other than the memory card issue it was working great. The folks at Best Buy said they had never seen an issue with one of these tablets before and that it was rare with any of the other tablets in the line-up. Overall I liked it and my S5 phone. When paired the phone and tablet have some really cool features.

It has got many features, I like working with the S pen, the battery life is excellent.

Works great, like the split window view, large enough to see side-by-side. Like the option of stylus or s-mouse and even finger.

This tablet is 12.2 inches of awesome. The Hancom office program alone makes it seem and feel just like your personal laptop, but it is much more because your ability to write right on your tablet with notes and snippets.

Love the clarity and detail. Sleek design and build.

Purchased to keep Facebook separate from my Windows operating system - very fast and responsive - love the built in GPS feature although no voice instructions. Bigger screen, more resolution, and easier to read for us early "elderly".

great tablet, light weight. large enough to use. scrolling is not as smooth as i would like it.

As much as I enjoy using the Gal. Note Pro. I am also just as frustrated that Samsung and/or Google will not stop forcing Apps. on us that we can not remove. I, and others, would also like MUCH more specifics on everything every App. and it's updates do and if they are necessary. I should have TOTAL control over what information I am willing to share. Make Apps. available or known that do NOT data mine.

I picked my Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 up 2 days ago and I've been loading apps and trying stuff out. It has a beautiful, EASY to read screen. Large enough for old eyes. It is light and fast and displays videos gorgeously. It was also easy to set up and interconnect with my home network and other devices. I'm looking forward to using it productively for my personal productivity and enjoyment.

We mainly got this tablet to take on trips so we could look up local places to go visit when we go out of town. It came in really handy on our last trip when we went to an obscure town in Texas and didn't know what would be the best places to visit. Videos are crystal clear and we didn't need to rig up a sound amplifier for all of us to hear them either. All in all, a great tablet. I guess my only negative about this is that it's a bit heavy. We bought a mounting kit that goes into the AC vent and it was pretty heavy and we kept having to readjust it.

Endless possibilities with this tablet..... Gorgeous graphics! Long lasting battery. I'm a commercial artist & found wonderful apps for artists to work with.
