I upgraded from my S8 and I have no regrets. I was originally looking at the s20 plus but the price difference between the 2 was only $50 at the time of purchase so I went for the note and I'm glad I did. This is definitely the best phone I've owned and for the price it should be. I'm not sure why there are mixed reviews, my experience has been great with it. Like any device, battery life depends on how you use it. I can get 3 days out of it with light use and battery saver options or one day with heavy use. Cameras work as expected, wireless dex has been useful. Sound quality is a HUGE upgrade both in media and phone calls. Also, the mic for phone calls apparently sounds way better than my last phone. I don't miss the headphone jack, I'm using galaxy buds+. I love using the s pen as a remote for the camera. I definitely recommend the note 20 ultra, it's the most capable pocket computer I've had the pleasure of using.

I love this phone! I fell off a canoe with in in a 4ft river and had to feel around with my feet to find it (im only 5ft). It took 15 full minutes, but i found it, still working and functional. Was able to get 8 or 9 months in before the first Cracken. Ive had curved Galaxy's since S8, so im no stranger to the delicate nature of this phone. Even with a shatter screen and dead spot, i can use the pen to make it work for me while i wait for my replacement!! I wish Samsung would make this exact model forever!!!! Not to mention the camera is insane~ heres a few Certified #ShotOnNote photos

You want a happy future with this phone? Then I recommend purchasing a case with it. The camera especially is extremely delicate and will require immediate protection. There's really nothing much to say about the negative things about the Note 20 Ultra other than it's a battery guzzler. Since I know this now there's always a secondary charger stashed in my car.

This is such a great phone it flys compared to my last and the camera is amazing. They have these awesome apps to trace pictures or whatever you like to draw which is pretty cool too. Drawing on this note is a breeze with the pen . All in all i love thus far!! Im still getting use to the fact that its much larger than my previous phone but its nice.

there are 2 reason i got this ,, one is AT%T tells me,, my cheep 3g flipper will not work any more feb 2022 which i been using for decades .. and that is all i want a phone for.. to call and receive calls only .. and ATT began interrupting my calls to make calls .. to tell to get a new phone .. the other reason is , if i need to get a new phone ,, i then wanted a very decent camera ,, so i bought this .. with the expectation , i donna have to carry my big expensive eqpt camera for those occasions .. and meebe to use as option for a laptop .. well ,, it does do those things .. but not as well ... so my real feelings for a smart phone is really low ... and i donna like it .. but now live with it .. so here is the list of donna likes ,,, it cost too much , it is only like a point and shoot camers ,, difficult to use compared to laptop ,, software functionality is a pain ,. wireless connection very limited range .. hate holding this phone ,, screen is so small ,, addition cost for phone data plan [which i wonna buy] ,, you need to convert phone pictures to see and use on computer ,, you canna change battery ?when it goes .. so afraid to drop and break this ,, . and i will stop now ,, so as not to continue to babble ...

Powerful and nice looking phone. I used to keep changing phones with the latest ones, but this is still with me after I bought the iPhone 12 pro max and Samsung galaxy z fold 2. It is unique on its kind. I really like it. Very easy to use and very responsive. And the screen is fantastic.

I switched from my Xperia 1 to this & have no regrets. I really enjoy the UI for its feel and ease of use. Sound is great from speakers too. Wish there was a 512gb version in white but oh well. Camera bu.p is huge & an aspect i dislike, but my tech21 case protects & minimizes the huge bump. Battety life is great, i can get through a day without needing a charge. Highly recommended phone though.

In a case, in my pocket. day one... I pull out this sleek, sexy phone to show my son when I got home after work, and he asked "is that supposed be like that"? Unbelievable. As mentioned. I've been using NOTHING but a Note since the Note 4 Edge in 2014, and have barely even scratched them. This one, the rear camera glass is so delicate - i dont even know how, what, or when it broke!!! You don't realize this is an issue til you spend major cash and then google "Note 20 Ultra rear camera glass replacement" and look at the Samsung forums alone. Its a defective product, and I will dispute the charge with the CC company, as BB cant be expected to accept a return. Also, EXTRA poor @BestBuy Wilmington. I ordered this for curbside pickup. I arrived as store opened. It took 7 mins past 10am for the app to let indicate I was there. THEN, the rep comes out with an already opened product, with scotch tape holding it closed? When I realize it, I call him back as he is like 10 feet away, and tell him it already opened, and he says go deal with it inside. I got a unopened one, but wasn't a cool move. This phone is trash - like everything in 2020. AVOID IT

TL;DR: the Note20 Ultra 5G is a fantastic phone, with many amazing and useful features. The S Pen is now a useful tool with plenty of applications as well as being a smooth and precise stylus, the camera is fantastic and fun to use, and the screen is beautiful, likely the best phone screen on the market to watch content on. Top of the line specs make the user experience extremely fluid, and customization and user friendliness are at an all time high for Samsung, making this phone everything you want it to be and more. I switched to the Note20 Ultra from a Galaxy A50. I'm a long time Samsung user, and I've owned the Note5 and the Note8 in the past. When I switched carriers I needed a cheap unlocked phone so I got the A50, which was great for the price, but coming back to the flagship line reminded me there's really nothing like a new Note. The screen is big and beautiful, amazing colors and the 120hz refresh rate is something I've wanted on a phone ever since my first 144hz monitor. Scrolling is buttery smooth, and videos look amazing. The holepunch camera is a mixed bag, obviously it would look better if it weren't there, but 90% of the time it is covered by the notification bar, so its not super noticeable. The specs on this phone are incredible, rivaling my PC in some aspects. With 12 gigs of RAM and an octo-core processor, you will never notice a slowdown while using this phone. Even while multitasking and switching between heavy applications like COD Mobile, I have never noticed any lag while using this phone. Of course, this being a Samsung Note you already know this, but this is one of, if not the best performing phone on the market, and you will be able to run any application you want or need with ease. The S Pen is a huge upgrade from the Note8, it is now bluetooth enabled and latency times have been cut down to only 9ms, compared to 40+ of previous S Pens. Coupled with the 120hz display, it looks and feels like you are writing on paper with a pen. This thing has so many features before you look at the bluetooth capabilities, but with them it is truly amazing. Air gestures, camera controller, music controller, the S Pen has finally gone from a "pretty neat stylus" to a useful tool. The camera on this phone is amazing. It may not be the best on the market, but it has amazing features, and picture quality is fantastic. These days, many people wouldn't be able to tell the difference between pictures shot on a Samsung, Google, or Apple phone, especially with social media compression, and features like 8K video, 5x optical zoom, and AI integration make the Note's camera stand out, at least to me. All these features make the camera on this phone very fun to use, and I am always happy with the results. Build quality is great, and the aesthetics of the phone are fantastic. I personally prefer the squared designs of the Note series to the rounded edges of the S series and iPhones, and those sharp corners are very pronounced on the Note20 Ultra model. The newest model of Gorilla Glass, and metal accents give this phone a sturdy, high quality feel with a screen that is scratch and crack resistant. Stereo speakers on this phone also make the sound quality much higher than phones I've owned in the past. I still prefer headphones (no headphone jack, not to sound like a fanboy but the Galaxy Buds Live are my wireless earbuds of choice) or a mid to high quality bluetooth speaker, but the sound quality is comperable to an entry level bluetooth speaker. Phone speakers will likely never be very good, but these are adequate, and I certainly don't mind listening to them if they're all I have. This brings me to my least favorite part about this phone, the HUGE camera bump. I love the camera on this thing, but the camera bump sticks out and almost doubles the thickness of the phone where the camera is. I bought a case that sits flush with the camera, so this isn't a problem anymore, but for the few days I was caseless it was a big problem. When putting it down on a table, the camera bump will cause the phone to tilt at and awkward angle, and even wobble if you are trying to use it. The Gorilla Glass on the camera is also a model behind the front and back glass of the phone, so not only is it sticking out asking to get hit, it is also more prone to scratches and cracks. If you like using your phone without a case, I'd go to the store and hold it and get a feel for it before considering buying it, because if it weren't for the case, I'd be very uncomfortable using it day to day. If you are someone who doesn't mind a case however, this issue really won't affect you. The second big negative is, of course, the price. I got an open box phone while it was on sale, which knocked a couple hundred off the price, but it was still an investment to say the least. Of course this is the flagship of flagships from Samsung, (ignoring the Z Fold) so I do think that with everything it offers, the price is justified. All in all, this has been my favorite phone I have ever owned. The user experience is incredible, and features are cool, fun, and useful. If you're willing to shell out the big bucks, you will not be disappointing with this phone. Also at the time of writing this, the new Samsung models are being announced and produced, so if you're willing to wait a bit, and if you're okay with not having the newest model, the price will likely come down and be more reasonable. Props to anyone who read my full review, and if you did I hope I was able to help.

I LOVE this phone! It is so amazing! I love how fast it is, and how many extra options for personalizing were added for this phone. I came from an iPhone 11 Pro Max, and that phone does not hold a candle to the Samsung Note 20 Ultra! One of the features that sold me on this phone are the camera and the refresh rate. iPhone refresh rate is 60, this one is 120. I actually turned the refresh rate to 60 on this one, because I realized that I was used to it! ha! The camera is amazing and I love all of the AR features. The S pen is lovely, and SO much more responsive than I expected. The size of the phone is awesome, and it is not very heavy. The only thing that I do not like is that there are not many protective cases for this phone. Most of the cases do not really protect the screen. I finally found one, but it took a while. I am also not pleased that there is not a way to use a tempered glass screen protector. But that is what a warranty is for! So it is all good! The only other thing that is different from iPhone is that since pics and videos are sent over the carrier service, you have to use Samsung Link and they have to download the pic or video, instead of just "getting" it like you do on iPhone. But we figured it out. And that is not something that is the fault of the phone, because it is based on the carrier. I am using this phone (unlocked version) on T-Mobile. Oh! The sound clarity is AMAZING! WAY more clear than the iPhone. With the Iphone, we could always tell when someone was driving or in the shower. I would have to yell over the shower to be heard. But with this Samsung phone, I cannot tell if my sister is driving or not. And I have used this phone in the shower, and my sister cannot even tell that I am running water! And we don't have to shout to be heard! The clarity and the volume are really amazing:) The curved edges are pretty cool as well. The Samsung Edge Notifications setting looks AMAZING with the curve! The Google Duo (like facetime, but google) looks amazing with this front camera! Both the back and the front camera are amazingly clear. As far as the 5g, I have not really noticed a big difference. I suppose it is SLIGHTLY faster. Again, not the fault of the phone, but the carrier. The colors on this phone are AMAZING, too! For example, I play Toon blast on the iphone. I put it on this Samsung. I did not even realize how washed out the iphone made the game look! On the Samsung, the colors are SO rich and vibrant and FULL!!! I keep looking at the iphone and just shaking my head. The battery life is awesome! It lasts all day with calls, games, emails, shopping, etc. I usually have about 63% after a day of usage. I am not sure how I stayed with Apple so long...I convinced my 2 sisters to switch to the Samsung Note 20 Ultra as well. And they LOVE it! (they also switched from iPhone). So, I totally recommend this phone! You will not regret it!

I LOVE this phone. I'm not super techy, so this isn't a technical review. The colour I got was mystic bronze, which is basically rose gold. It's adorable. The S pen matches. I like how I can play xbox games on it. I love the cameras. I haven't messed with them too much but at this point I feel like a lot of the phone cameras rival an expensive camera. (Or maybe it's just me.) As an avid android fan, the ease of the UI doesn't change. It's a little big and it won't fit in my small girl pockets. (What phone after the razr would?)
