The Note 5 is a very powerful device and multi-functional with its S-pen. The camera is awesome in all circumstances. I love the fingerprint scanner cuz it's very fast and accurate. The battery is good and it wont get very hot after using it for a long time. Still a wonderful phone regardless of the advent of the Note 7.

I had my heart set on buying a brand new Note 5, but I use Verizon Prepaid and paying full price was the only thing holding me back. I saw that Best Buy was selling a refurbished one, and after reading up on the product and researching why the phone may have been refurbished, I felt comfortable enough in buying it. It was deeply discounted and didn't arrive in the original box, and it didn't come with the headphones but the phone looked flawless. If I didn't know any better, I'd have assumed it was brand new. There were no scratches or marks, and the phone works super fast. As for the Note 5 itself, I love it. The screen is huge, and the S-Pen is useful for jotting down quick notes or for having fun drawing on Snapchat. It's got awesome features like interaction control which means I can turn on a video but disable the touch screen and home buttons, so I can turn on a video and hand my phone to my toddler during long car rides without worrying about him accidentally making phone calls or opening other apps. That's just one of many useful features. Overall, if you're on the fence about getting a refurbished phone, I'd say go for it. I've had no issues with this phone. I love it, and I'd never know it was refurbished if they didn't tell me.

The phone is fine comes with a stylus and a samsung charger but what is not told to you is that the cord is a cheap dynex cord not the oem samsung one in addition to the fact that mine did not come with any documentation or even the original samsung box. I had to go out of my way to locate a paper clip small enough to release the sim tray becuase the original was not provided. Dont get me wrong the price is appealing but its not really that item that someone had for a day and returned the next day becuase obvious stuff is missing. I had purchased a refurbished phone instead of a preowned one because I wanted these things but in the end I did not get what other people who bought the same phone got. Along with the fact the box says "preowned" when the phone should be considered refurbished.

My 3rd note I've owned. I bought note 2 new note 4 and the note 5. The note 2 was the best of the 3. I bought a note 4 year and a half ago new had nothing but problems. The note 5s I've bought that were reconditioned are holding up real well. My wife and I are very pleased but I wish the battery wasn't integrated and you could add a sd. Hoping the note 6 does away and brings back the option to remove the battery and add a sd card

Bought refurbished and saw a negative review on Best Buy's site. Phone arrived a day early, in perfect condition. Generic box, genuine Samsung accessories (no head phones, though I think that's with new ones as well). Saved $350 and couldn't be happier. Camera is much better than Note 4's, Nexus 6P, iPhone 6 (ties with 6s). Battery life and performance are top notch. Marshmallow update just arrived on phone for VZW. Be sure to do update, then factory reset, then get the phone in order. That way the phone won't be bogged down and you'll have the best platform for a fresh start.

I bought the note 5 refurbished. I received it in perfect condition . I love the phone. No complaints!

I love my phone, preowned/ refurbished..just like brand new out of the box had stylus and the charger.had phone a mth.BIG screen love it..did not have a book but I can look any question in a snap on line or u can download manual to your phone..FAST processor..I got a white one and white does make the phone and screen look HUGE..it is little heavier then my S5 but I can see screen better.I just have to get use to the controls are a little different...All around a great phone..I LOVE IT..what can I say but its a Samsung and I have a lot Samsung products.. they ALL have been great products so far..I am a Samsung person....you get what you pay for...Angela

Just received this today in the mail. Comes in a nondescript package which is to be expected for a refurbished product. Open it up and it's missing the stylus for the phone and instruction manual or anything else that normally comes with the phone. How do you refurbish a phone and not check that everything comes with it? Returning it and will not go through the hassle of ordering another. Only reason it's not a one, was because the phone itself did look to be in nice condition.

The phone is great, I already had a note 5 but it was lost so I knew I wanted this model and was thrilled to find it on sale for under $400 at best buy. However, since it's refurbished it's wonky and randomly restarts itself :( It's pretty quick to shut off and restart (less than 1 min) but still inconvenient when ur in the middle of something, and I wonder if it will get worse. So far I've noticed it 3x and I've only had phone foe 1 week. (If it's shutting down and powering back up when I'm not on it, I wouldn't be able to tell, so I really don't know how frequently this happen s)
