The Note 5 is awesome. I loved my Note 4 but this phone is faster and smoother. The camera is amazing. Call quality is very good. It is a little bit narrower than the Note 4 yet has the same screen size. So it fits a little bit better in the hand for a large smartphone (or phablet as some people say). Battery life is very good. Usually goes all day and well into the evening unless I have unusually heavy use.

Upgraded from a note 3 which was a good phone. However this phone is way faster the camera is amazing. Overall feel of the phone is nicer, sleeker and feels lighter. Love the fingerprint to u lock instead of swipe. Great selfie cam. Easy to use. Apps download super fast

Love the big clear screen and the ease of using the pen. Takes great photos. Clear, crisp phone transmission. Battery lasts about 4 days for my usage. Nice to be able to log in to local networks instead of using up airtime. The Best Buy store staff who set me up were smart and speedy, which is why I buy in-store instead of on-line

This is my second Samsung phone, and I just love it. My first two smart phones were Apple iPhone 3G and iPhone 4. Don't get me wrong, I loved them as well. I switched to Android when Samsung released its Galaxy Note 2 for two reasons and those two reasons only: One, for compatibility that Android had to offer when it comes to supported file format of music and videos as opposed to Apple product with iOS, and two, for huge screen and the stylus that came with Galaxy Note 2. Not to mention all the other neat features this Note 5 has to offer that Note 2 didn't, it offers everything that I liked about my old Galaxy Note 2, only in better ways. It has the same huge screen with better resolution, and the stylus that now allows you to take notes without having to unlock your phone and navigate to a memo app. Yes, of course, I also liked how I was able to add additional memory via microSD and how I was able to switch out batteries when I needed to, and like a lot of others, I don't necessarily like the fact that these changes in design seem to be going after Apple's lead. However, I have to admit that my old Note 2 with removable plastic back cover felt much cheaper compared to the iPhones or Note 5 that I have now. I can live without the convenience of being able to switch out batteries when needed due to those portable battery chargers that are now available on the market. If there was one thing I could wish for... maybe they could have designed the phone so that we could have a microSD card slot in the same fashion as the SIM card slot... Overall, this phone offers tons of features, and I'd recommend this to anyone.

When I was eligible for an upgrade, I was looking for a bigger phone screen and heard a lot of great things about the Samsung Note phones. I used to think they were too big but I find the size perfect. The phone is powerful so it can handle games and applications with ease. It also has an amazing camera...takes awesome pictures! I recently started getting an alert on the phone that there is no SIM card but it would work fine after I restart it. It was happening daily for about a week then it stopped suddenly. Verizon Wireless said they would take care of it if happens again since it's still under warranty. One more thing, it comes with a stylus (which I don't really use) and it's located at the bottom of the phone (you push it in and it releases out of your phone). I've dropped the phone a couple of times and did not notice the stylus popped out until much later so just a word of warning to make sure you always check to make sure the stylus is still attached if you drop your phone.

Longtime Samsung user coming off of 3 trouble free years using a Galaxy S4. Love the larger size and the stylus on the Note 5. Can use stylus with many apps. Pictures and screen resolution are mind blowing. Super fast processor. Battery life is great. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

Fast, sleek, amazing screen! This phone delivers on the note line and exceeds expectations. Went into it thinking the no removable battery and storage was a negative but no issues yet and the difference in build quality makes it a worthwhile trade off. Buy this phone!!

My wife absolutely hates technology. She was an iPhone person for years and always migrated towards the smaller sized phones. Once she held the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in her hand and started to experiment with all the functionality, she was immediately sold on the phone. It's a great phone, and the larger screen is awesome for watching movies or reading books. They have definitely improved the fingerprint technology in this phone and the battery life is surprisingly good. It's got a really fast processor, and overall it's a great phone.

I thought I was going to be leary on switching to a larger phone but I certainly wasn't when I saw the screen and felt the power of the pen. Solid speed and performance and I have always loved the camera.

This phone is so fast compared to my s5. I was getting fed up with my GS5 after only 13 months of owning it. As soon as the Note 5 was released, I purchased it out right for $699. I can honestly say it was completely worth the money. Speed is crazy. Camera is incrementally better than my S5. Features are great. I will never own a standard sized smart phone again. The plus sized screen is amazing. 5 stars. I'd recommend to anyone. I'm in sales and the S note features are very useful!

This is review is for my wife. We both bought Note 5's at the same time and started using them together. We absolutely love the NOTE. the camera is great! The phone has great call quality, size was big at first but wow its so much easier to do things on and now I don't think I could go smaller. Plus charge times are super fast and hold a charge very well. I highly recommend this product! I have only begun to scratch the surface of what this thing can do and I am very happy!

The new sleek design is great for handling and the speed and camera are awesome. The screen has a soft touch to it. Samsung done an excellent job on this Note 5

Very quick, responsive phone. The display is beautiful! The camera is quick and takes great pictures. I would recommend looking up all the great features this phone has if you haven't already. Build quality feels very premium. Battery life is much better than my old Galaxy s3. I can go through my day with moderate usage and still have a good 30 percent battery life left, charges really quick with quick charge. Fully charges in less than 90 minutes. Spen is very easy to write with, it has a little resistance to make the writing feel more natural.

Honestly, this is hands down the best Android phone you can currently buy! Largest and best screen available, lag free and great Spen functionality. Perfect phone for my needs and great new design feels solid and comfortable in hand. Might miss the lack of expandable sd card storage down the line but for now this phone is a beast. I use Google photo to store my pics to the cloud so hopefully that works out in the long run. Finger print scanner works really smoothly too. Kicks my wife's Iphone 6+ in my opinion!

The phone itself is great. Spending 4+ hours in a Best buy is not so great. All I wanted was my contacts transferred over. They bring the phone to me to sign in an everything and then take it so they can transfer contacts. They come back after almost an hour and say they had to factory reset the phone. I sign into it again and they go for round 2. They come back with no luck. They try some other method and that fails. Fourth time is a charm. I had a 250mb data plan at the time so when I finally left I turned my data off as I normally do because I have WiFi everywhere I am that is free to use. I was sick that day and next couple of days so I did not even get around to looking at the phone too much until the following night. I see messages from Verizon thinking they are saying "Grats on the new phone" or something. What I get is "You have exceeded the data allowance on your plan." They did not connect the phone to the WiFi they have in the store when they set it up. And if you will remember they also had to factory reset it once as well. I had about 5mb used before walking into the store and left having to change my plan in order to resolve the situation because the management at the store was inept to do so. I have since cancelled the Geek Squad service plan on the phone and go through Verizon and will never visit another Best Buy again. I notated my whole experience in the survey they sent me which included if I wanted to be contacted and they have failed to do so. I was previously a long time customer and had purchased most of my electronics there but now I do it online through other retailers or through vendors I do business with at work. I think for the future if Best Buy wants to retain customers they just might follow-up and resolve the problems they cause them. Back to the phone, it is definitely worth getting. The camera is amazing and when you pull the stylus out when the screen is off you can take notes right away with it and save them which is very handy at work.

I didn't intend on buying the Note5 when I went to BB. I went for the S6. The stylus is very nice, and this thing is speedy! Still working on some of the particulars, but some of the important factors for me - speed, battery life, built-in speaker: The Note5 is perfect for all of that.

After refusing to upgrade from my non-smart phone to the Note it was worth the wait. The phone is very easy to use and has lots of tools/apps I havent fully used yet but looking forward to using them. The battery life is not a problem because i only active apps that are needed. I've used the scribble feature and it is very convenient to take notes when something comes to mind and a piece of paper is not near. Overall, a very good upgrade and a good phone. Lot of features still unexplored.

I use this for my business and take notes on this which can then be turned into text. It works well in my line of work (sales) since I am in front of engineering staff and some of the times there's drawings of schematics and block diagrams. Aside from that it is easy on my eyes. I was concerned about the size but after about a week it is like any other phone in my pocket.

My family all have Samsung phones in varying sizes and shapes. The Note 5 was purchased for my father who enjoys the larger screen. He is absolutely amazed at the quality and usability of the Note 5. Everything from the S-Pen to the camera works. It doesn't just work, but works well. I don't think I will ever buy another brand of phone, for me, or my family.
