Huge brilliant display, fast, smooth operation, and responsive pen. Octo-core processor with 64 gb of memory and a 16 mega pixel camera. This phone has it all. Same screen size as the Note 4 but the phone is actually smaller due to a thinner bezel. The back is tapered too so it fits in your hand better.

This phone is quite frankly the best there is. Expandable memory and non removable battery do not bother me at all. The processor on this gives me better battery life then the Note 4. With all the cloud options there is no need for external memory. Build quality is superb phone is fast camera is amazing

I love the s pen and all of the things it can do. It has a great camera with lots of modes and you can download additional camera features within the mode library. It has great sound and volume for playing music and with the larger storage size lots of space for photos and music. Very easy to use, but I am still discovering lots more that I can do with it.

Love this phone! This is my third Note (2,4 and 5). I particularly like Samsung phones and choose the Note for it's large size for easy viewing and processor. I get around the size for talking on it by using a bluetooth most of the time. The only thing I was disappointed about giving up is the SD card and access to battery. As recommended by the Samsung rep, I bought 2 dual usb flash drives (extra one as backup in case one gets defective--always do this!), for quick phone data backup and access. Unfortunately, my Otterbox Defender case prevents complete access to plug the flash drive into the usb port on the phone. The BestBuy cell phone tech said there is no adapter that he knows of. Have to take the case off to plug in the flash drive. However, I still highly recommend an Otterbox case (particularly Defender), considering the cost of replacing this expensive phone, or repairing it with the new $200 deductible if you have a damage, loss, theft plan. So, the only negative I would say is no SD card slot and battery access, but I still love this phone and highly recommend it. It's worth the cost, I use my Note phone for everything!

It's extremely fast, the size is just right., and the screen is amazing. Love the blue sapphire color. Just wish Samsung hadn't removed the ability to change the battery and add external memory. Maybe they will add those features back in on the next versions of the Galaxy S and the Note. But all in all, I love my new phone.

Was hesitant to buy this because of no removable battery and expandable storage but I got the 64 GB which is plenty of space. The design on this phone is amazing. I have to take it out of my case every so often to feel how nice the metal body on the sides are. This phone does not disappoint, the fast charge is unreal too.

I upgraded from my Note 3. I was nervous about the non-removable battery and lack of sd card support. I have to say, the battery lasts great and can be charged quickly. I also don't miss the sd card with the use of cloud space. I am very happy with the speed, call quality... And the camera puts all other phones to shame.

I was reluctant to buy the note 5 at first due to the changes made in this model I.e no more sd card slot and removavle battery. Now I am glad I went with the note 5 because it has faster perfomance with all internal memory. Features with stylus are really well designed and great to use. Best phone I have had this far.

We upgraded from Samsung S4 to Note 5 and we love it. The screen is large and takes amazing pictures. I think better pictures than our regular digital cameras. It's must faster and quicker.. .and having the built in 64 GB of memory improves the SD card crashing issues we used to have with the S4.

The phone is so great at all aspects! I love the camera! The phone is so snappy! I love the size, not too big for a Galaxy Note! I've had the Note 2 in the past and this one is so much better! Better than my previous iPhone 6 Plus.

This phone is fast, has an awesome display. The s pen feature is the best pen/tablet I've ever used. Have had phone for 2 weeks and can't find a thing I would change. The speaker is very loud and call quality is great. The camera compares well to my 500 dollar cannon. U won't be disappointed

Everything is improved - speed, camera, apps, screen quality etc. After much research and debate vs. S6, hands down any salesman from any store prefers this Note 5 over S6. Only drawback is the SD card slot is no longer.

This phone is cool. The only thing that'd make it better is if it had a way to add memory or battery life. Great screen, great camera, easy to use, easy to access but secure too. Nice job Samsung. More battery though. The wireless charger sucks rocks but plug in charging is very fast.

I love this phone. At first I was worried that it'd be too big, but I quickly got used to it and now I'm glad that it's so big. The display is huge and awesome. It has a magnificent camera that is really quick and easy to access due to the feature that allows you to pull it up just by double-tapping the home button. Another great thing about the phone is its battery life; I often get over 30 hours of battery life on one charge. Even with heavy use, though, the battery should last long enough to easily get you through the day. Also, if you do need to charge it, the quick-charging feature makes dealing with a low battery as painless as possible. Overall, this is an outstanding phone. I was previously using an older LG model, which had me fed up with Android and ready to switch to an iPhone. However, I decided to try the best Android had to offer and I'm glad to say that this phone really is the best- I'm very happy that I gave Samsung a chance.

I upgraded from a Note 3 to a Note 5. I opted to go with the 64 gig memory as it didn't have the SD card available. I read quite a number of reviews prior to upgrading. A lot of people were upset about the nonremovable battery and the SD card slot not included. In my note 3 I never had to remove the battery so I didn't feel that that would be an issue on this one. So far the phone is fast and the resolution is great. I love the ability to make a note without having to turn the phone on. As soon as I remove the S pen a note comes up on the screen that I can use to make a note. I've only had the phone for about a week so far, but I have no complaints at this point. It is slightly more narrow than my note 3 but as far as size I am happy with it.

I love this phone. Completely trumps every previous smartphone I've owned. This is my first Note experience and I love the tablet feel/function without the tablet bulk. Amazing camera quality, but can still be a bit slow to "snap." Battery life is acceptable, and the fast-charge is so effective, I don't really ever think about my battery.
However... both my wife and I switched to the Note5 and on day 8 of ownership, we had to exchange both phones for two distinctly different defects. Hers was in an endless reboot cycle that was so bad, we couldn't even backup her data inside the 62 seconds it would stay on. My S-Pen decided to leave its shell inside the phone, rendering it useless as the OS couldn't tell it was ejected.
So, with that being said; when you buy this phone, use it like mad the first 2 weeks and watch for a lemon. Our replacements have been flawless and we'd totally buy these again.

Upgraded from a Note 4, The Note 5 is thinner, feels real solid. The operating systems / processor seems to operate faster, the graphics is very clear and the battery life is longer than with my Note 4. Even the S Pen feels more responsive. I love it!!

Yes, it's bigger to carry around, but it's so worth it! The Note 5 has a beautiful big screen and is so much easier to see than other phones. It takes great pictures and has tons of extra features like the S Pen, which allows you to write handwritten notes quickly without having to get into a special mode. We were concerned about the lack of a card slot like we have on our Note 3, but it can be worked around with an OTG cable and a flash drive, or a wireless flash drive, etc. We would have preferred Samsung to continue offering a replaceable battery on the Note 5, but the battery on our Note 3 (which can be replaced) is still going strong after 2 years, so we do not believe it will be a problem on the Note 5. If you love your phone for pictures, there is nothing like it! And, if you have a Samsung tablet, they have some great coordinating features. Get one!

I had the note 3 before this phone and loved it. The 5 is lightning fast and has a good battery life. Great user interface. I love the stylus pen, you wouldn't think you would use it a lot but I do. The camera is much better on this phone too.

I LOVE this phone. It's the fastest, boldest phone I've ever owned. The screen is unbelievable and it allows me to multi-task to my heart's content. The S-pen is brilliant and intuitive.
Only downsides: no removeable battery, no micro sd card.
