Simply speaking this phone can handle anything without a lag. Long battery life. On top of that it looks and feels premium yet very light!

Definitely a great phone, love everything except the small battery. You shouldn't have to dumb down the phone to make the battery last all day... Got it on Black Friday, so far so good.

This Note8 is the best I have ever bought! I have been used it since last Thanksgiving Holiday and I am really proud of it! If you are looking for a great, fast, wonderful quality come to Best Buy and ask for Note8 with all its accessories

I have had a Note phone since the beginning. Love the functions of the S pen and the dual screen mode. The only thing that stinks about buying an unlocked phone is not having Samsung installed video call function.

In typical Samsung fashion, they are not updating this model the way they themselves update the locked phones. Why ? They won't say, but be warned, asking people to spend $900 on a phone with no regular updates is not a good way to do business.

Okay so my Note 7 was forcefully ripped away from my hands by federal agents and Samsung. On top it took 8 months to get a refund from samsung.com. Yet I have high expectations for the Note 8, and learned my lesson Im buying from Best Buy this time. The battery is a tad smaller than last year, but any professional Ingresser already owns a few Anker battery packs so no big deal. The hardest part will be waiting for a good protective case. I smashed my S7 the first week I had it and I was livid. So come on Samsung learn from your mistake and rise from the ashes with the new Note 8 Phoenix.

There's no doubt the Galaxy phones are simply the most futuristic, beautiful phones on the market. I am so excited to get my hands back on the Note after losing my Note 7 last year. I see too much whining about the battery... Suck it up... The phone offers more than any other phone and I would have preferred my Note 7 having had a safer battery than my having to go a whole year without it. Way to go Samsung!

Overall, a great phone, the display beats other brands released in later years. The main flaw compared to iPhone is shortening of battery life after 2 years. However, this is not a problem if you need to upgrade phone every 3 years,

Was a somewhat decent phone for a couple of months...(surprisingly not as fast as my s6 edge plus which cost less) ...noticeable lag time....i paid full price unlocked from best buy. i had the phone for less than 8 months when i received the july 2018 samsung android update and now it super-heats when i attempt to wirelessly charge.does this mean it's like the note7 and will catch on fire??did samsung pulled a fast one just to push them out the door with old note7 components? Im afraid it will melt or catch on fire... I called Samsung but they didnt seem to care. I tried the Samsung chat room suggestions of rebooting multiple times but to no avail. I purchased the phone and upgrade for the wiress charging feature and s pen....what a waste. Should have kept the older phone...for a phone that is less than a year old shame on Samsung for pulling an Apple and encoding a whammy on the battery once the update for the newly released phone came out (since the new note9 was coming out?). Not cool. Now i'm worried it will catch on fire like the note7 did.. ...Called Samsung but they did not care it now gets so hot you cant hold when you wireless charge on their own sumsung brand charger and that it wont hold a charge anymore...(reminiscent of apple putting the hex on their 6plus phones when the X came out last year)... Their solution was bring it to the geek squad...F- for Samsung customer service...

Very satisfied with performance. The display appears to be better than any other contemporary phones. The pen works great. Only issue is, the keys on the keypad are bit too small mis clicks are frequent.

Ive had this phone for 15 months and it has been great. The processor is snappy, the screen is crisp and clear, and their is plenty of ram and memory. Even in late 2019, this is an excellent choice for a fair price

Less than 3 months after purchasing my new phone it fell out of my pocket no more than a foot off the ground. It also was in a protective case, but the front lens cracked. Samsung boast about it's Gorilla Glass and on the Best Buy website there is a 1 year warranty for parts and labor, but read it carefully. Neither Samsung or Best Buy would or could do anything. Now,I have to pay close to $400.00 to repair. Buyer Be Ware! If you purchase this phone I recommend to buy the insurance warranty does not cover breakage. Overall not a bad phone, but would recommend the 8 not the Note due to it's weight and some features are not that great.

First off the screen is too small. I was expecting at least 7.3 infinity display. It also only has 6gb ram. I was expecting 16gb. Also only has a SD 835 was expecting a 7th gen i7. I was also expecting 1tb storage and not a measly 64gb. I know I can use micro SD but the 1tb storage option would be better. My final thoughts...with almost everything not coming close to my expectations, my next phone will have to be a blackberry keyone.

This is the fourth Samsung cell phone with problems. I had a S5 great phone, then purchased a Note 7, recalled both of them had to replace it with S7 after return and wait for Samsung to fix Note 7 problems. Samsung said they would make it up to all of the Note 7 owners. Their offer was a joke. So I keep the S7, it failed right after the warranty expired. Good thing Best Buy cares about it's customers they worked with me to upgrade to new Note 8. Note8 less than 6 months old SCREEN BURN IN and Battery last less than a day. Contacted Samsung support since it's still under manufacture warranty. You would think after all the Note 7 problems they would be more helpful, NOT! wipe your phone send it to them maybe you'll get it back in 10 business day. This is a know problem, they should over night a replacement to me. If it was an Apple device I could exchange it at my local store. Think I'll stop buying Samsung if this is the service I get for defective devices.
