The best phone I've bought yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Note9 is simply the best phone I have ever bought. It is fast, lightweight, has a nice screen and good audio. The only thing I miss from past iterations is the IR sensor. Other than that, it is great. The S Pen has some new tricks. The dual cameras allow for new types of smartphone photography. Really, all the hype is accurate. Even the battery seems to last me all day. ALL day. Like, all day long, and then into the night. Sometimes, if I used it lightly throughout the day, I'll have enough battery left that I won't charge it at bedtime. I wake up and it still has more than 50% battery life left. It's definitely a great phone. Now Samsung just needs to keep it updated and keep the bloatware to a minimum.

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a excellent all around device. With the price of phones creeping higher and higher this I'd the most bang for your buck. Has everything. Great display. Great battery. Huge storage. Expandable memory. Headphone Jack. Water resistant. S pen. Wireless charging. Fast charging. VR ready. Lots of ram. What's not to like about this device. Good luck finding another device with everything listed and more. Zero lag. Fluid. Great all around device.

Great phone but pricey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this phone for 5 months. So far it's served me well. It has more features, processor speed, and memory than I will likely need, but I was ready for a new phone (this replaced my Galaxy 7). I have been a fan of Samsung Galaxy phones for the last several years having owned a Galaxy 5, Galaxy 7, and now the Galaxy Note 9. I also enjoy the larger screen, and have just started using the built in Samsung Health feature. It tracks your steps, pulse, calories burned, health trends, etc. It's been a great phone so far .

Solid all around
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was time to upgrade my aging Galaxy S7 Edge and this really fit the bill. I wasn't looking for a larger screen but wanted better battery life. With this I got both in a package that's hardly larger than the old phone. I frequently use the camera for pictures of serial number tags in awkward places so a camera with optical image stabilization and strong low light performance was essential. Having the new active stylus is also nice.

Complete package
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great phone. Feels good in hand. Great screen. If you actually use/would use S Pen as I do. Will be rewarded with unmatched product. Nothing on the market can compare. It truly feels like a real Pen. When you consider. Every phone maker now makes big phones. All have good cameras. All top brands look stunning. All are fast. Great screens. What's left? Is this phone perfect? No! Is any? No! Comparing apples to apples on big phones. One thing with the Note that always stands out. The pen! It does so much and truly adds the difference maker. It can't be beat.

Worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was upgrading from a Galaxy S7 Edge to this Note9, and the difference is night and day. It shows how far Samsung has come in the last couple of years. I also had a Galaxy S9 Plus. The Note9 is similar, but it is a very nice phone. I am still getting used to the stylus, or S Pen, which is the main difference between the two Galaxy's. The S Pen ejects from the bottom right corner of the phone, which feels a little off for a southpaw such as myself. The processor is really fast, and can handle multiple apps, tasks at the same time without any loss in performance. The camera is really one of the best I've seen on a phone. Even low-light and night pictures come out really clear and crisp. The super slow-mo mode tends to come out a bit dark, so a well lit environment is preferred. I wish it had more than 128GB of storage on board. Thankfully it does allow for expandable memory. I have yet to really utilize Bixby, which is the Samsung personal assistant. I tried taking pictures of random items at Sephora but it did not come up with any other options online (could be just the brand though). I love not having to charge my phone every day. It will last a day and a half for me. I definitely recommend this phone, it is a powerful device, and I feel Samsung is really on a roll with its flagship phones.

Best phone of the year!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried the newest iPhone, the Galaxy S, and the Google phone, and this one blows the others out of the water. Its just a joy to use the stylus, the curved screen looks very nice, and it's very powerful, capable of amazing photography, and with enough horsepower to run many apps at once. The battery is huge and last for quite a while, even with heavy use.

The Bar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone sets the bar for smartphones right now. I carry two phones, usually a Samsung and an iPhone. I have always wanted a Note and I am glad I finally pulled the trigger on the Note9. Best phone I have ever owned. Main reason I went ahead and opted for the Note9 vs waiting for the Galaxy S10 is the battery. I love that I can go an entire day without having to charge the phone. The camera is awesome. And also the S pen is what sets this phone apart. Even my family gets impressed with the S pen and they all are iPhone users. Great phone. Would reccomend to anyone. Also the fingerprint reader is so snappy and fast. Awesome. I like that I can set up a password, intelligent scan and fingerprint to unlock phone and just use the one that is convenient at the time. Got to love the options. The USB type c port is a plus and love having a headphone Jack. The fast charger is super quick. I usually use the wireless charging stand which is also quick charging. A++++!!!

Best Galaxy Phone Yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK, so maybe I'm a bit biased... I started using Galaxy Notes with the original Note, upgraded to 2 then to 4, was going to get the 7 until the battery issue killed that device. I waited on the 8 to see if Samsung had indeed corrected the battery issue. When the Note9 was announced, I pounced... and after a little over a month of use, I'm very glad I pounced. The device is blazingly fast overall; crisp graphic resolution makes watching videos and game play a total pleasure... when not using headphones, the device makes a stereo effect by using not only the speaker along the bottom of the Note, but also uses the earpiece speaker, and the sound is very rich, particularly when using the built-in Dolby Atmos sound feature. The Note9 keeps up the now-familiar fingerprint sensor for unlocking the screen and various apps, but the Note9 makes great use of not only the iris scanner, but the face recognition feature (which is new to me) - after registering these security features, I have never had even the slightest problem with these features, even in low light! The dual-aperture camera is a true step above previous device cameras. I was totally impressed with the quality of this camera when I took my daughter to a concert she really wanted to attend; she was filming with her iPhone 8, and I was doing the same with the Note9 - after we reviewed the videos on our home big-screen TV, we could really tell the difference in quality - the Note9's camera won hands-down. Of course, the defining feature of the Note9, the S-Pen, doesn't disappoint. It's extremely responsive, very fast, and a cool feature on this S-Pen is the ability to set different tasks that the pen button can do. I used it to shoot various group photos that I had to also be in. Overall, I think Samsung hit a grand slam with the Galaxy Note9... definitely the best Galaxy yet!

So happy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from an older model Samsung S7 Edge this was such an upgrade. From the features to the storage and S pen. It is such a feature rich device, it allows ne to do so many things simultaneously. I am happy to have chosen a device that satisfies all of my requirements.

Galaxy Note 9 has everything I need!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the speed of this phone, easy to work with, awesome display and large internal memory. Camera functions and exposures are beautiful! Love the clarity of audio. I have no complaints about this phone except that it could have been a little more reasonably priced.

Powerhouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an Apple user for the past decade and coming over to Android for the first time in a long time, this was the perfect time to do it. The screen is gorgeous - really, it's just pristine. Videos and just browsing are super pleasant. It's fast and extremely customization. If you're used to Apple, this phone makes you feel like you were in jail and are now free! I love the themes and app changes - unreal that I can make the phone "my own" from a look perspective. I use excel a lot - this phone DOES excel. I couldnt believe it, I could navigate, sort and filter, just like a PC. This thing is a PC. If you want NO limitations, here you go. The battery is excellent - I am still learning what to close/leave open, but I typically have 40-50% left at the end of the day with moderate to heavy use. The fast charging is ridiculous - 20-40 minutes to full charge from almost being out. Highly recommend.

Note 9 is EXCELLENT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the Note 9 for several weeks now (almost a full month) and I am VERY impressed with the speed, camera, screen visual and the AWESOME battery life. I upgraded (I mean I really, really upgraded) from the Note 8 and hands down the Note 9 was well worth it by far in all areas that can be measured between the two phones. I have not found one area to complain about as I am a very heavy user daily and don't even have to think about my battery after a 10 hour work day. I have to admit that my Note 8 was a great phone, but the phone was too far under-powered. You will not be disappointed if you decide to get this phone and very happy you did if you go from the Note 8 to the Note 9 like I did and several of my coworkers.

It's ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After watching the youtube reviews I was really ready to upgrade my Galaxy Note 5 to the Note 9. But honestly, its just a lot of hype, the Bio features of iris and facial recognition hardly ever work, I use the fingerprint scanner to unlock my phone. The camera is not that impressive over my old Note 5. The phone is not worth 1000 dollars, maybe 600-700. its just a big phone, it seems just as fast as my Note 5, it has more storage if you need it, so I guess I can use that for pictures or videos. The new apps are what make the phone enjoyable, Bixby seems nice but its not much difference than google assistant. For watching movies its great and the screen is brighter with greater resolution than my Note 5. I really like that you can take pictures with the S pen. That sets this phone apart from all the rest. the Bluetooth connectivity is the best I've ever seen in a phone. I was in the carwash waiting area and a call came to my phone but you could hear it all the way in the car. so the connection strength is strong. The battery will last 8 hours with regular usage. I got 12 hours out of before it was at 16% battery life left. if you lower the screen brightness and close a few running apps, you might get 14 hours of battery life before completely dies.

Best phone I've owned!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone does it all. Has the size, speed, and storage to do what ever your heart desires. The stylist that comes with the device gives you more to do than just use your fingers. You can take selfies with it you can also set it up to do group photos with a simple click of the button. The 512GB version does give you the extra RAM to run multiple apps and browsers without suffering from bogging down of the device. The battery does its job as well with a true all day battery. And to that I mean you can use this all day without the need to plug it up now with that said depending on situations and where you are anytime wireless connection is searching will drain battery life of any device. Again this product is one if the most expensive phones on the market but worth the price of admission.

Nice upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from Note 5. I have a memory card again! I got the 512g version, and added 512g card, so now I can carry all my music and photos of grandkids and nieces with me. Phone is faster, and never lags, even on power saving setting. Better reception everywhere by about 1 bar over the old note 5. It is spendy, but I think it is worth it. I keep phones for quite a while, and have never had an issue with Samsung (at least the last 12 years or so). Screen is beautiful, and bright enough for daytime viewing, as long as you shadow it a little. Just the right size for my getting older hands to hold securely, but not too big. I think I will enjoy many years of use...
