If you're in the market for big Android phone this is it! Great camera, great battery (lasted nearly 2 days of heavy use!). Fast and efficient work horse. And the added functions of the S-pen make this Note a definite go. Just be aware that this is a big and heavy phone. If you don't think you'll ever use the S-Pen then the S9 would be a better fit for you.

I've been using iPhone since it came out, 10 years ago. I enjoy it but feel it's somewhat stagnated with every new edition just getting slightly bigger. I'm in real estate & find the S-Pen very helpful for signing documents, taking quick notes when on the phone or talking with someone, taking pictures and making notations on them for inspectors and home owners among many other things. Split screen to receive emails and use the calculator below it without having to switch back between apps is amazingly useful. Scheduling text messages in advance to clients is very helpful. Taking photos and documents from the phone to my iMac is easy via AirDroid, (I don't see where Dex will work with an iMac, I may be wrong and SideSync doesn't seem available) & I can type text messages on the iMac. The things I miss: iMessage. That's it. I can video chat via Facebook so FaceTime isn't missed but iMessage is better than text messages if you want to send a video, E-mail can be used or I have found Samsung link sharing to be very helpful. I do like iPhone, but I am preferring the Samsung. Battery life and wireless charging is fantastic!

By far the best Samsung Note yet! The new stylus, the incredible camera, the added battery life, the processing speeds, I can't say enough good things about this phone. Almost a month of everyday use and so far have ZERO complaints. Plus you can play fortnite on this no problem!

LOVE this phone! Camera is fantastic, speed of phone is wonderful. I run my own business, the pen is wonderful for customers to write their name when making a purchase, storage space is also phenominal for everything I need business wise and the battery is working beautifully through all the crap I put it through daily; constantly on my phone.

The Samsung Note 9 is a much faster phone than the previous Note 8. The dual cameras take fantastic pictures and I love the new S-pen. The resolution isn't too noticeable of a change. Neither is the overall functionality of the phone. But performance, battery life, and better camera may be all you need for you to make the switch like I did.

Purchased this phone when they first came out and not that the Note 10 is coming out my Note 9 is still going strong. Battery life has been good, so good in fact I power the phone off about every other night to conserve battery and increase lifespan. LiPo batteries in most modern phones have a limited (~700) number of times they can be charged before their capacity decreases. Only charging every other day can literally double the amount of time until the battery needs replacing. Over all this has been a huge upgrade from my S7 and everything continues to work great. Camera is excellent with great low light capabilities, processing power is good, touch screen very responsive, etc. The two biggest adjustments for me with this phone are its large size (it sticks out of my shirt pocket) and touching things that are on the rounded edge of the screen. That last part takes the most getting used to as it doesn't always happen and I still to this day have to remember to tilt my finger to get around the corner when something small near the edge of the screen needs to be clicked. If I had a choice I'd buy it all over again.

Fast connections, tons of storage, great screen, don't be scared of the curved edge. I had the Note 4 for years and then the S7, but the Note9 is superb, picture quality and video is awesome. I use mine for work and can work almost as well as off my computer. Highly recommend

The phone is great but not through Best Buy

This has been an absurd and stressful ordeal getting my phone and Verizon service through Best Buy. I was told it would arrive ready to go and I would just need to follow a few prompts. This was the farthest thing from the truth. I have spent hours on the phone with Verizon and hours in their store to active my phone and ended up with multiple lines, extra charges, and various other issues that I am still not done having resolved. I got a second phone through them as well and have had the same issues and more. I currently have extra lines of service on my account, payments for double the monthly advertised price and a broken phone (not this note 9) that I don't know what to do with because the coverage I bought never showed up on my account. As for the note itself, I absolutely love it and besides not liking infinity displays, do not have any complaints. The camera is great, it runs fast and smooth, it has nice features, reasonable battery life, and every bit of quality you'd expect from Samsung. 5/5 for the phone. 2/5 for Best Buy.

Had to wait for the pre-ordered 512Gb version but was well worth the wait. Performs as advertised with all the great features a flagship device should have. Now as soon as 512Gb microSD cards become cost effective I'll be up to the full 1Tb storage. Beyond speed and battery life the most impressive feature is the extra effort put into cooling compared to previous Notes and Galaxy devices.

The phone I upgraded from was the Note 4. My reason for upgrading was not for performance issues but because of the lack of operating system and security updates. I chose the 512gb storage with 8gb of ram. Setting up and transferring my information to my new Note 9 was easy. I’m impressed with the battery life so far. I use a laptop for computer stuff and a game system to play games, so I don’t rely on my phone for those uses. However, when on the go I do use those features when necessary, and it doesn’t adversely affect the battery life. I have tried power using my Note 9 with games and videos and found out that I get better battery life than my Note 4 did under regular use. I don’t worry about “topping off” the charge on my phone every chance I get either. I can go over a day without charging my Note 9 under regular use. Taking pictures and video is impressive. Taking high-quality video does drain the battery more than I expected. I think it could have been attributed to using the flash during a low light condition when making video. I wouldn’t fault the phone for this, but it is something to be aware. I only have one issue with the phone size and that is the length. I preferred the height of my Note 4 over this one. Everything else about the size for me is great. I have a Spigen thin fit 360 case that doesn’t make the phone feel bigger than if it wasn’t on. I know this isn’t a case review, but I had one drop that landed on the corner, and nothing happened to the phone, case, or screen protector. The phone fits in my pockets with the case, but the length can make it feel awkward sometimes if the phone is at an angle. You will not be disappointed with upgrading to this phone.

Very fast and snappy. Camera is great, screen size and resolution is amazing and the customization is great. The battery is great, lasts longer than the note 8. I also love the "close all" button that android offers when having the app window open. All in all such a great phone!

I had switched from Samsung because of the inaccessible battery, but now that all the manufacturers are doing the same, I decided to switch back. It was such a simple transition! I surprised even myself with how much I like the screen size. I have small hands so holding the big phones has been an issue for me, but I added a pop socket and I've found that works beautifully (not to mention that it let's me personalize the look of my phone just a little!) The camera is great, and the display is vivid and eye-catching, and I enjoy using the stylus. I am still working on personalizing all of the "interior" parts, such as various ring tones and wallpaper and accessibility, but I know that the options are there and I'll be happy with my experience.

Great phone. Easy to use. Larger screen than the previous note and the stylus is always a plus. I bought the phone because it had more space, and a good camera. So far no issues at all. I've been a samsung fan for a very long time. I would definitely recommend this phone.

I absolutely love the Samsung Note. Went from an Iphone to the Samsung Note Edge years ago, and never looked back. I still currently use this phone! I will hold out until the next note comes out because of how great the notes are. They are extremely fast and the cool little pen is great to write notes, crop photos, or a cool little feature is the fact that the pen can be used to take photos. You can set the phone down and use the pen to take a photo remotely or start/stop a video. It can also be customized to do different things based off your needs. The fact that this phone has a micro sd slot to add additional storage is a plus. I will be waiting for the next note to be released before I trade this one in.

My 1st note was bought in 2016 when there were issues of it blowing up and catching on fire. I grew to love that phone and didn't want to turn it in. I waited 2 years for this new Note and I am very happy with it. The phone is larger, but I have over 500 gigs of storage which is huge for me since I like to take pics, videos and download games and music. I bought the lavender phone and one of the features I really like is the stylus. My laptop has a stylus so it makes it so easy to transition from laptop to phone. The battery life is pretty good, given the fact that I play games all day and Facebook a lot. The graphics are crisp and I like the added features on the camera. So far, so good with the Note 9.

As good as a Galaxy Note could be. Size is just right. Features are fantastic. Easy to use. Battery lasts all day, even with constant use. Camera is so good I'll probably never use my dslr canon again!! Best Buy Salesperson was way better than expected.
