I was waiting to see if my phone carrier would pickup the Asus ROG phone since it had some pretty amazing specs for only $800. However, after suffering using an old S5 I decided to find a phone that had the same specs. This Note 9 pretty much had the same hardware except way more storage which I would consider necessary for keeping any phone long term. I found that I was constantly deleting apps and media off my S5 because apps would feature creep, increasing the storage they required over the years, which eventually overwhelmed the storage on the S5. One other thing that I never realized that I needed or wanted in a phone was the stylus. It has saved me so many times in work now when I needed a quick note when I was in the field or in a meeting. And being able to take a picture and circle the focus I want on the picture helps so much when doing any kind of tech support. And having Samsung Dex has helped me to have a desktop whenever I am not at my real workstation. Being able to pickup and go with this phone has been an eye opener for me with what phones can do now.

I have had every note and most of the S series phones over the last 5 years, and my work device is an iPhone X. The Note 9 is by far my favorite phone ever. The battery life and signal strength are amazing. The camera blows away my iPhone and my old GS8. Being able to use the s-pen as a camera remote is a genius feature that should have been on all the previous note devices.

This my first Galaxy Note. I upgraded from my Galaxy S8+. First I love the S pen...love it being a mini remote for camera. Also love it for being handy in its slot, easy to grab for taking notes. I love the battery life, a upside to my S8+. And I like the sensor on back for finger print recognition for access, it's very convenient. Overall the phone itself is great, easy to navigate, great screen, camera and fast processor . This phone's does everything I need and more.

I bought an iPhone Xs on Black Friday, but soon regretted leaving my Samsung device, as well as things like the Samsung keyboard, which is far superior to the iPhone's. I returned the Xs for the Note 9, and am glad I did. I've noticed a marked increase in processing speed as compared to my S7. The dual camera system can handle most any situation. I wouldn't want a screen any bigger, but it's nice to have the extra real estate when reading or composing messages.

I knew the price would drop in Aug/Sept when Note 10 hit. BB sale price was $400 off, hard to now if it would drop lower. It has been 4 years since I got my G6, so this was a big upgrade. The battery is awesome, the latest Android version takes some time to get used to. Love the speed, battery and the pen. Overall, its been great. BB simply added the payment to my V bill, with no interest for 24 months. *****

This phone immediately blew me away. From someone who has been using iPhones for the last 8+ years, I haven't been more satisfied with the decision to move away from Apple than I am now. The stylus is my best friend, and the multi-tasking feature? Oh, MAN! It's fantastic! And going from needing to charge my iPhone battery 2-3x per day to only having to charge my Note9 every OTHER day is a refreshing change indeed! The only thing that's been frustrating to me so far is texting on this phone can be a pain. Constantly having to double check and reread my messages to make sure I didn't send some crazy autocorrected phrase to someone! Otherwise, I've adjusted nicely and am very happy with my purchase!

I purchased this cell phone for my daughter and she claims it’s the best phone she’s ever had. It runs fast, is easy to use and comes with a lot of cool features. I am personally an Apple fan (it’s all I’ve ever had) but after playing with this phone, I’ve seriously considered switching to an Android. When taking pictures/selfies they come out crystal clear and look like professional pics.

What can I say? It's everything a flagship device needs to be and more. The note series has been one of the best options samsung has been making for the last 9 soon to be 10 generations of phones. The bnattery life in this phone is amazing, I love having the s-pen, for notes, and sometimes even just for general control of the phone. Dex is still there from the s8 series. and now works even better with 3rd party usb c hdmi adapters and hubs. The note 10 is soon to be out, but the note 9 is still an amazing device. I dont want the hole punch in my screen for the camera, so I am happy with this. And while the next note is more powerful, in truth not by all that much when it comes to day to day use. Though I do hope the new 'dex on windows' feature gets backported to the note. S-Pen has a supercapacitor in it as a battery that charges in 40 seconds and lasts for half an hour of use for things like using the s-pens button for controlling apps and such. And since its blue tooth, you can set the phone on a stand and step back and use the pen as a remote for group photos.

Phone is great, as a former S7 edge and S8+ owner. Screen is huge and beautiful, phone is snappy and fast, battery life is strong. It's big though. Make sure you're ready for the size of the thing. Also the S-Pen is of limited value to me.

Another great savings promotion from Best Buy made this an easy sell. Had been using the Note 5 since its release. It was time for an upgrade. With the recent release of Note 10, this made Note 9 a worthy competitor. May not have the newest features of 10 but for the savings it still offers a good punch. Camera, s pen, expandable memory... just some of the awesome features.

I bought this for my wife to upgrade from her Note 8 that had a cracked screen. This is actually so much better and the Note 8 was already a great phone. Wife loves the new Bluetooth stylist, new improved low-light camera, and great battery life, not to mention, the beautiful lavender purple color. Unlocking the phone with facial/iris combo is super fast, and there's the fingerprint to fall back on. Got the Whitestone Dome glass screen protector. Not taking any chances on this wonderful investment of a gadget that is central to our lives. Kudos to Samsung for getting all the details polished up. Highly recommended.

Nice feel in my hand. Friends have commented that it feels right to them. Nice screen. It has a Micro SD slot. S Pen works well though I tend to favor the soft keys. Good Camera. Good battery life. Like the wireless charging and the USB C. One disappointment is I missed a few nice offers for from Best Buy because I didn't ask if any promotions were coming down the line.

I upgraded from the Samsung Note 4. Using the stylus on the Note 9 is so much better, it works much more smoothly and I feel it has better control. The screen is beautiful, and I like the changes made to access apps. The battery lasts more than a day with my light usage. It was easy to pair with my Bluetooth speaker and with my car. I’m still exploring how to use it to full advantage.

I usually only buy new phones every few years. My galaxy s7 edge got water damaged and I upgraded to the note 9. Usually the phones don't advance much anymore but this time was different. Not too much bigger than the galaxy s7 edge but huge screen, fast with big battery life then the awesome and actually useful s-pen was the icing on the cake. This is a great phone hands down.

I have wanted to hate Samsung phones for so long because of their market dominance, but I finally caved and tried the Note 9. This Smartphone is the undisputedly best smartphone I have ever used. I have used most US market flagship phones with the Snapdragon 835 and 845 chip, so I have plenty of experience to speak from. This device takes photos the easily beat the Pixel 2 (way overrated picture quality) and compete head to head with the iPhone X. Reception and call quality are top notch, and the included premium headphones are a plus. I love the capabilities of the Note 9's S pen. It works incredibly well and has many unexpected features.

If you're looking for a phone that can do it all and do it all well, this is the phone for you. Top of the line internals. It comes with plenty of storage as well as the now seldom seen expandable storage option. Headphone jack for better than Bluetooth audio quality, or just connecting it to older equipment. The best and brightest display of any phone. Stereo speakers. Water resistance. Wireless charging. The list goes on. The best upgrade from the Note 8 had to be the S-Pen. The ability to remotely control your phone has been a game changer for mobile photography. Family pictures are a no-brainer now. Support for third party lenses like Moment makes this phone a pocket photo powerhouse. There may be a small number of phones that may be slightly better in a few narrow areas, but the Note 9 is hands down the best phone you can buy.

I have had this phone for sometime now and everything is working as it should without any issues. Battery is still able to get me through the day and all functions are normal. The wireless charging is a must have convenience that i enjoy the S pen operates much better then my note 5 also the extended storage allows for better flexibility of the phone

I am blown away by this phone. Been a long time Note user. Absolutely love the yellow S-Pen which is a delight to use. Got a blue Otter Box case for this one. Will never run out of memory. Very very powerful and so simple to use. Fits well in my hand. It just continues to amaze me.

His is my 5th Samsung Note! I am having an affair with it. The Touch of the screen is very different. The speed - to move from ap to ap staggering, to open multiple aps and bounce bak and forth - seemless, the graphics - like you are seeing everything live, sound - wonderful, stylist - my favorite feature even easier to use, camera - superb imaging.
