I purchased this phone with the intention of getting a better phone than a Motorola I had previously. The Samsung galaxy is a good phone with excellent features, but you should have ample battery to enjoy the same. I almost charge it the whole night and in 10 minutes the battery is discharged to 90%, and by the end of the day, the battery is totally discharged. today I am returning this phone. I am not happy with the purchase. I would rather take a phone with less money with more battery power.

S4 missing battery and manual. Had the item reshipped. Received item this morning. When I open the package I noticed that the phone is in a generic box. Makes me think this phone is a refurbished phone. Didn't open the generic phone box took it to Best buy. The Samsung representative said she never seen a new phone come in a box like that, She proceed to open the box up and pulled the phone out. I asked her if she thought the phone was new or refurbished she said refurbished. not happy.

I transferred my TRACFONE service over to one of these unlocked S4's a few months ago and it works great and keeps my monthly costs really low. Here is a very helpful hint for all that get this T-Mobile phone. On start up there is a very loud T-Mobile sign on sound which occurs no matter what volume is set at on your phone. Go to the Google Play store and down load "Silent Boot" by Anton Weber. In its settings you will need to check the tab silent boot and extended tab and the T-Mobile boot up will no longer occur....

This was such a great purchase. I'm not the type to jump to the newest model so buying this phone at such a great price was worth it to me.

Be very careful when you pick up the phone from BestBuy. Do NOT ship to your house even if its cheaper or faster. During a pick up, open the back of your phone and remove battery, make sure that every digit matches your order, make sure that the sticker on the back is original. Those phones are different than the original models that came out when S4 was introduced .

I purchased this phone 1 year ago. It worked fine for several months, then just wouldn't turn on. I went to the Samsung desk in my local store and they thought it may be the battery. Went to Batteries Plus (BP) and they checked to see the battery was fine. BP did note that it was missing the watermark, and the internal sticker was slightly askew, which they said indicated a refurbished phone. I called Samsung and learned from the IMEI # that the phone was made 2 years before I purchased it. The phone, though unlocked, factory resets to AT&T, but that is in the description. Back to Best Buy where they checked all the box #s and said all their info said it was new. I sent it to Samsung for repair and they said the problem had been the SIM card area, though there had been no damage from my end and that didn't explain the phone not turning on. Anyway, after repairs, the SIM card reader didn't work right away, and over the next few weeks, would sometimes give me the message that there was no SIM card. After 4 or 5 times, it stayed on the message of no SIM card. I went to the Samsung desk at BB and they said maybe it was the SIM card itself, so recommended I get a new one. I did, and it was installed by the electronics dept, but still didn't work. I have sent the phone back to Samsung for repairs again - thankfully still in the 1 year warranty, though at the end of it. I've spoken to BB in store, multiple Samsung reps, and several BB reps on the phone to see if I can get a truly new phone to replace the one I have, all to no avail. Next stop is emailing coorporate. I am not saying BB intentionally sold a refurbished phone - it could have been snuck in by a supplier - but I'm hoping they'll make it right if that's the case. My main reason to have a phone is because I have a child with anaphylactic food allergies so I need to be reachable in an emergency, but this product has not been reliable. My husband and I have purchased several Samsung products and like the brand and the help at the Samsung help desk. We've also made several purchases from Best Buy, but after this continued hassle, I will be looking to purchase elsewhere when possible in the future where the company will stand behind their product. If you are considering purchasing, I would recommend taking the unopened box to your local BB to open at the Samsung desk. Look for indications that the phone is new and not refurbished - check for the watermark sticker, make sure the internal sticker isn't askew. Even contact Samsung to have them check the manufacture date according to the IMEI #. Hopefully you'll get a good one!
