The Samsung s4 is similar to the S3 but runs much faster and has advanced features such as data usage meter to let you know when your getting close to your limit.

I got this phone for free with a 2 year contract during Black Friday, so the price was unbeatable! I wanted a phone with a great camera and the S4 fits the bill. Phone looks great, the black color has a carbon fiber look on the back of it which I think is very cool. It is very slim but is a bit on the big side (width and height) so if you wear tight jeans or have small pockets this phone may be a bit big. On the flip side though the screen is nice and big, perfect for apps and internet browsing, and viewing pictures/video that you've taken. I haven't used the phone too much yet but so far haven't had any problems. seems like a great phone so i hope it lasts for a long time.

Finally decided to upgrade from the Pantech Renue to a true "smartphone". I'd rather go with something tried and true and less expensive than the shiniest new toy, and so I chose the Galaxy S4 instead of the S5 or an I-Phone 6. So far, it has been a great choice. It has all the features I need, some I never thought I would want but really like (e.g., the "OK Google" voice recognition search tool), and more. The basic calling and texting features have been working flawlessly, and I'm enjoying the "Milk" music service (free) and many other free apps. For me, at least, this has been a great phone - can't imagine anything the higher priced newer phones would add that I would find worth the extra money.

got a good deal from best buy and i love this phone easy to use try to get the s5 and s6 but the price was the best for the s4 and later if i want i could upgrade to a better phone but for right now very happy with s4 will recommend to anybody....

Just a great phone with amazing screen res and the pictures are far better than any previous phone. It takes better pictures then our old digital camera. The battery is typically good for a day and a half of normal use between Facebook some games and normal texts/calls. Would definitely recommend over any phone out there right now and I will not be going back to HTC or iPhone's any time soon.

I was always an iPhone user but when I was ready to upgrade I decided to go with Samsung. I was scared at first but that all went away as soon as I started using the phone. Love the camera on the phone, the larger screen, how clear the screen is and I am amazed by all the thing that it can do and I was not able to do with my other phone.

I did not think I was going to like the phone, but took a chance on it anyway, being that I purchased it on sale, brand new at $249.00! (most new phones cost at least $500 plus.) I'm coming from a Galaxy S2 i777, and the 4G LTE this phone is capable of is great, as opposed to the 3G/4G the GS2 had. Viewing web pages in the default browser load faster, also due in part to the GPU and 2 Gigs of ram on the S4. I do not play games on it, so I cannot comment on that, though I'm sure you can do some gaming on it though. The phone came with KitKat 4.4.2, and I'm leaving it alone for now, cause I like it as is! I'm staying clear of Lollipop for now, as reviews of it are less than stellar. I also took a chance on the phone, cause BestBuy has a pretty good return policy! ;) I don't have to have the latest and greatest, I'm pleased as punch!

So far I love this phone. When a company goes all out and packs a product full of new features and options, my first assumption is that most will not be useful or they will have bugs or that something is being sacrificed for the sake of extravagance. This is not the case here. Most if not all of the new features on the s4 are useful, not buggy, and nothing has been sacrificed here. The screen has beautiful color and resolution, phone is fast and responsive and all the neat bells and whistles are really useful. This is where the bar is set for the best phone on the market today.

This phone is a great size and had a sensible features, battery and memory.

I love this phone! Even the iPhone users in my family are jealous. This phone is fast, light weight, takes great pictures and has a beautiful display.

As a former iPhone user, I'm sold on the Galaxy. I wasn't sure about the size at first (it's much larger than the iPhone), but I adjusted. This phone is so fast! That's the best part. Entire websites load in a matter of seconds. The sound is on par with actual speakers. And the camera (including video) is as good as our digital camera ... I took a picture in a dark aquarium and my picture turned out clear as day, while my fiancee's iPhone pic was just a black screen. The phone feels kind of thin and it's already dented, but all in all, I'm converted.

The camera SOLD me for this phone. But now that it is about 2 years old and they have come out with 2 newer versions and updates it has started freezing. But I do love the samsungs and will probably get the newer version of the galaxy when the time comes.

Like the screen size and clarity, battery life, and it's easy to set-up and use. Especially like the tools that come included like air gestures.

This is a good phone I like that you can expand a text message. and the option to add a memory card is a big + over the I phone to me. Takes good pictures

The battery life is pretty good, and EXCELLENT after my Galaxy S2. Everyday I find new things to like about this phone. I highly recommend one of the growing number of e-books of tips and tricks for this phone. It would take you months, if not years, to figure it out by yourself. I would also recommend that if you like using the camera and taking videos, because of the high quality, go ahead and order a micro-sd card for storage.

I have been an IPhone user for years and I didn't know what I was missing out until I switched to the Samsung Galaxy S 4 4G. It is easy to use, it has so many cool features. Being able to share pictures, videos, music instantly with another user is still fascinating to me. It is quite intuitive, so it didn't take too much to learn to navigate the phone. Being able to take a picture and record sound for up to 9 second after taking the picture is an awesome feature. My overall experience is that it is a great phone for the price.

This is my first smart phone. I've had it a month and have been very happy with it. I already had an Android based tablet so it hasn't been hard to learn how to use it even though I'm in my 50's and not a bit tech savvy.

This phone replaced my original Samsung Galaxy S Captivate phone - so it's 3 generations newer. Thus I was familiar with Android and Samsung's TouchWhiz interface so shifting into this phone was a breeze. I am very impressed by all the little tweaks done to the various settings and features on the phone, and while I was hesitant at first about such a large phone not getting in my way while on a belt-clip/holster - the large screen makes reading anything so much better, and the larger size has not been an issue. The GPS functionality is so much better than that of the Captivate - travelling while on business is a breeze with Google Maps and the Navigator feature. The GPS syncs up with the satellites in less than a minute (while my old phone took 5mins or more, if at all) and I'm on my way! The updates to the email and calendar features make using them very easy, and I was able to quickly download all the apps both free (manually) and paid (automatically) I had on my Captivate without any problems. Thus I was on my way with almost everything I was used to in just an hour or two. Battery life has been fine - not really any different than what I was used to, although I have been taking care to keep it plugged in a fair amount. I'm getting the spare battery/charger from Samsung so that I never have to worry while on the road. The big selling point to me when getting a new phone was the fact that this phone (or Samsung phones in general) are the only ones that allow you to swap out batteries and external SD cards. I've used both and they give me the freedom to just keep going without bounds - something you can't do with Apple or other products. I love my freedom! I haven't really delved too much into all the "gee-whiz" features such as air view and others, so I can't comment on them. I sure that if I take the time to play around with them I'll find some that are more usable than others - but the fact that they're there just adds to the "little things" that that phone offers to (possibly?) make things that much easier and neater!

this phone is probably the best thing out there right now. I read many reviews that the battery life was terrible but it is not true! I am a heavy texter, constantly using social media like facebook, twitter, instagram, and take a lot of pictures and my battery lasts all day! approx 9am-8 or 9pm until i get a 30% battery life. So this is great! also the camera quality and video quality is awesome! The trick is to turn off the extra stuff when not in use and your battery will last long too.
